Teem Coworking

This is a great new co-​working space that has come to Harlem, that holds a couple of group meetups each month, free of charge, so that people can come together to learn helpful things that can aid in the world of business, marketing, and all sorts of other things.
Last week I came by for their «Love Your Marketing,» campaign, that brought over a representative from the Wix Lounge to come by and do a quick run through of key points to take into account for improving your (mostly online) marketing efforts. While I have to admit, a good 20−30% of the talk was essentially various Wix programs being brought up that we can use to upgrade our approach, overall the meeting was a nice friendly thing to get involved in and the others in the meeting along with myself, took the opportunity to bounce interesting ideas off of one another. I can definitely see myself returning for future talks. Also the pricing for their co-​working spaces isn’t bad at all, so if you’re interested in locking in an office space, you should definitely give them a look!

TEEM is a godsend to the Harlem area.
Great natural light pouring in through the floor-​to-​ceiling windows, bright lighting inside, clean and modern feeling décor, a great big open layout, kitchen is easily accessible and always kept tidy, etc.
Sharlene who’s running the space is super hospitable and will accommodate most requests within reason. She also makes these quirky, fruit infused waters for people at the space that I think is so cool. Sometimes it’s strawberry water, cucumber infused water, etc — adds a nice touch.
My favorite feature of the whole space is their conference room. Minimal sound gets in/​out, they have a huge screen for presentations, it seats 20+ people comfortably, and is in it’s own isolated section of the coworking space for added privacy.
Another cool thing about TEEM is their Private + Semi-​Private office space. Some of the startups have reserved these, and it seems to work really well for them. Essentially, they’re getting a proper office at a fraction of the cost.
Overall, really awesome space to get work done. Great people, great conversation and ideas going around, great addition to the neighborhood.
