Great service, low price. Ideal for take out or a quick meal since there is seating. $ 1 fried dumplings, pricer dumplings are either boiled or veggie. $ 5 lunch specials include different kinds of lo mein, fried rice and white rice/side dishes. Then there are bubble teas and other basic chinese appetizers. 3 stars for food, another star for pricing and service for a total of 4⁄5.

I don’t know if this place is still there. I went by 99 allen st. today and there was nothing but construction going on. I was totally bummed because I went out of my way to go there and walked away without any dumplings or bubble tea. if I missed it somehow can someone please let me know. I feel kinda stupid if I was staring right at it

$ 1 for 4 dumplings better than Vanessa’s. Amazing. Spring rolls also phenomenal at 2 for $ 1. The interior is super cute and the menu is pretty extensive at such a cheap price level.

Small unassuming joint but the prices are insane for NYC. I highly recommend the beef pancakes, of course the dumplings, and their fruit smoothies are some of the best I’ve had. You can eat for two here and be stuffed for under $ 10.00

The bubble tea is the best I’ve ever had! Get the mango pop bubbles. The food is actually cheaper than Vanessa’s. The only negative thing I have to say is the service is a little slow.

This is admittedly a classic hole-in-the-wall establishment. That said, their menu boasts incredibly cheap food. I went in after reading reviews on here about this place and others in the area. I knew that the food was very cheap but had already bought a sandwich at a different nearby shop, so I determined to just buy a bubble tea and observe. Unfortunately, service seemed very slow(hence the dropped star), but considering that it seemed like there were only two workers on duty for the lunch shift it was understandable. There was a steady flow of customers and all of the tables(not many, but a few) were taken by customers who continued to buy more food. The cook/cashier was getting a workout running from the back to bringing out everyone’s food. There was an upside to the wait for my drink: I was able to see everyone’s reactions to their food. I did not see a single person leave anything on their plates, and nothing looked excessively greasy, under– or overcooked. When my bubble tea finally arrived I was very pleased! They had a lot of different options for bubble tea customization, with four types of toppings available and seven or so flavors. I usually just get black milk tea with tapioca boba, but feeling adventurous, I went for the lychee and was happy with the product! Overall, it was a good visit. Yes, service was slow, but I wasn’t in any hurry. Other than that, it was clean and the cashier was polite, the food seemed good and my purchase was great!

HOLYMOLY! Check this place out if you are looking for very cheap but decent food. Dumplings for 1 $!!! Soups for 1.5 $ and the prices go on like this. The food is delicious and they are fast at preparing everything. The location is small but it’s pretty cozy and they play awesome music the whole time.

What’s not to love about $ 1 dumplings. The pancake wasn’t my cup of tea but the others I was with liked it. The spring rolls were crispy and and delicious. It’s definitely good food for a great price.

Small hole in the wall that punches out some decent fried pork dumplings. Plenty of seating and place is very clean. Should really keep this place a secret before it get overrun by dumpling hunters from Prosperity and Vanessa’s around the corner. Other entrees on their menu look pretty appealing, but dumplings here are crispy and hot. The soy sauce might be watered down in the sriracha bottle, but the sriracha itself seems like it’s the original unaltered sauce.

First came here when it was called Fried Dumpling and after a few new owners it’s still the same to me. I haven’t been here in years but the renovation is a nice change and although they’ve added a few new dishes I think I will only come here for the dumplings. A friend and I came here the other night and ordered 40 dumplings and it all came under $ 10! Hard to beat.

It’s a cute little bubble tea spot in the LES. My sister and I ordered 1) peach green tea 2) mango green tea both with bubbles. The spot is cute, service is fast. They have cheap lunch specials as well. People who were sitting in here were sitting in here for the food, not bubble tea as I had expected from the name. Would definitely stop by again.

A new upgrade to the ever so delicious dumpling place it once was. It got a new facelift and some add on’s to its menu(the dumplings are still there!). I use to frequent this spot for their dumplings, conveniently located across the street from Congee Village. Décor wise, the place def got trendier/more modern. Seating is limited, but I believe there is wifi and AC is always on! Food wise, their dumplings are still the same(thank goodness), and among my few favorites are the curry fishballs and roti sandwich. TWOMUSTTRIES! The roti sandwiches come in chicken or beef with veggies. A modern twist on a classic, not too big or small, so it goes great with the other snacks they offer. Can’t say much about the bubble tea cause I don’t like bubble tea in general, but there are other options without milk. Cheap, no frills, and easy on the eyes. What more can a girl ask for!

My beloved Fried Dumplings… Gone! I don’t know how to feel about this place. On one hand the change is good but on the other hand this more inviting, hipper interior will attract more people and will make it harder for me to get seating. They still offer the 4 for $ 1 dumplings AND watermelon slush. My favorite. How bittersweet…

This place was just around the corner of where my wife and I stayed when we visited New York City. T-Spot was just opening up, and we were really excited to try out all their dishes. The first thing we ever got here was the bubble tea, which I recommend. The first time I had the bubble tea, it was absolutely delicious. The tapioca balls were perfectly soft and not tough in the certain, which they can get if not cooked properly. So the next day my wife and I went again hoping for the same experience but we were left in disappointment. The tapioca balls were slightly tough in the middle and didn’t have the consistent chewiness throughout. I was sad, but at least the teas they used are quite tasty. We also tried the dumplings and fried rice. The dumplings tasted like they had been sitting around for a little bit and were too great. The fried rice did not have much flavor. It needed more salt and pepper. Maybe T-Spot is still trying to figure menu items out. I’d try them again maybe a couple of months later.

Passed by here on my walk home and decided to stop and check out their new menu. I’m pretty sure the cooks are the same, since I recognize them from the previous establishment that was here. It’s got a new modern feel, with the same great prices and food. I love that they added a drinks menu. The green apple slushie was refreshing on a hot summer night. I’ll definitely be frequenting this place often.
