I love this little place. It’s an annex off of the building on Sullivan at the northeast corner of Bleecker. They have all kinds of cute seasonal hats — the couple who works there is super sweet and you can find them there hustling hats in the dead of freezing winter and the middle of sweltering summer. Crazy. Occasionally I’ve walked by and they haven’t been there but it’s rare. I stopped in today after yoga(Sacred Sounds!) and picked up a really cute beret with felt flowers and my friend got one of those small brim 20s style hats. I’m glad cause the temperature dropped like crazy over the rest of the evening but our heads were warm, haha. Most of the hats are adjustable and good quality, they’re wool this time of year but I’ve seen straw etc. in the summer. They have hats for both men and women. The prices are really awesome too, $ 30-$ 40. Cash only! If you’re gonna get a hat, get it here. Much sweeter than getting a corporate hat(I mean, they all are but you know what I’m saying). It’s a taste of non-chain store NYC.
