Stuart I Finkel, MD

Dr. Finkel and his staff are great. He is treating an issue that has bothered me bigtime for several years and other doctors said, «you’re fine.» The truth is I needed the proper testing to really figure out the simple solution. Now I’m on the road to recovery and I’m keeping him for sure. Thanks doc!

This is a response from Dr. Finkel to the negative review posted below by «Sd C» on 11÷15÷14. This is an intentionally false, malicious review posted by Steven David C_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​, several days after I discharged him from my practice for noncompliant behavior in repeatedly refusing to have additional non-​invasive (ultrasound) testing I recommended to evaluate abnormal blood tests obtained in my office.
He accuses me of demanding that he «sign up for [my] service on a subscription basis,» or that I will «come up with some specious reason to cease providing service,» etc.
This is a total lie — I do not now have, and never had a «subscription service» of any kind — (presumably some type of concierge practice, or some other fabrication on his part) — nor did I ever try to «sign [him] up» for anything.
«Specious» and «false» are the words Sd C uses to describe me? I would use the words dishonest, liar, malice aforethought, libel and slander to describe this former patient.
I note that Steven David C _​_​_​has also posted several other negative rants on Unilocal,including roasting another MD, a very well respected one, I might add, for daring to make him wait 25 minutes! What a terrible experience this must have been for him.
I simply refused to see him again, and discharged him formally, within NY State guidelines. Guess Mr. Sd C can’t take rejection, and has to fabricate defamatory nonsense out of a pathetic need for control and revenge.

Bedside manner is not even his short suit. But if you fail to sign up for his service on a subscription basis — totally voluntary his office will assure you — he’ll come up with a specious reason to cease providing service. Actually, specious is the wrong word; «false» is better.
