Decent but a bit pricey. If you checkin on the Unilocal app you get a free coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. I ordered the veggie burger, which came with some french fires and it was a little over $ 10. It was nice that they offered a veggie burger but it seemed a bit over priced. They have a variety of items from soups, flat bread pizzas, sushi, paninis, sandwiches, and a bunch of other things. They have outdoor seating, which is nice because you can eat your lunch while looking at the Statue. Just be cautious because there are several vicious seagulls in the vicinity that are ruthless. If you drop a french fry or anything they’ll swoop it up before you even realized you dropped it. haha. As far as taste goes, the veggie burger was just fine. They give you pickles, lettuce, tomato, and onion on the side and there’s a condiment station with ketchup, mayo, mustard, and bbq sauce. The fries were crinkle cut and weren’t soggy, which was nice.

So where shall I begin… Well for starters I’ve notice that the fries we always crispy and fulfilling but, today was just down right not good for me. I asked for some fresh fries and I received some semi stall fries that where by far from crunchy instead they were hard and began to hurt my teeth. My taste buds changed as if these fries served to me where sitting there for more than hours.

Nothing beats a cup of hot chocolate while roaming Liberty Island. We stopped here for some hot chocolates since we were all cold and sleepy. This is a cute little café that sells foods from salads to burgers to sushi. Kind of random but something for everyone. There is also a bookstore connected to this where you can buy souvenirs. The workers here were welcoming and loved that we were from Los Angeles.

As the only real food option on Liberty Island they’ve got the market cornered. However, they suffer from a serious lack of organization. The ordering and pick up line needs to be better organized. They seriously need to learn how to deal with the volume of people more effectively. Limited indoor space makes eating during cold days an issue. Menu seems to have too many items for the volume of people. Finally the price is the typical over inflation you find with a captive audience.

Eat well before you get here. The food is average to good, but portions are small and worth about 30% of the price. Expect to wait about 15 mins for hot food. The hero sandwiches at the front of the line are good and immediately available.

Don’t get a burger. After one bite… Was trying to place the taste: yes! Remember the burgers that you were served in high school, that absolutely weren’t beef, but were some public school amalgam? Yep, that’s it. Except now it costs $ 12.95 for a double. Eat at a hot dog stand before you get on the island. Onion rings were decent though. Crowded, loud, and basic sustenance at tourist prices.

Delicious food! Who would have ever thought that after the fairy ride I would get so hungry! I was craving a burger and fries and it hit the spot! Can’t wait to go back and visit New York again.

They had all manner of hot and cold food with great variety of common and healthy choices. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the view with a good lunch.

Who would have thought that the sushi here would be good? We needed a quick snack, and were surprised at the many offerings at this café. While most of it looked good, we opted for the sushi. Daring, right? It was being made fresh on the premises, and we picked up a small box to share — spicy tuna rolls. It was decent sushi, which was a welcome surprise.

Only eating option on the island. The food is pricey for what you get. My best tip … Eat good before you get here. Not worth the money.

The worst service ever, food tastes horrible, went with my sister and she got grilled chicken that tasted horrible, I ordered angus burger, never got it, got a backup pepperoni pizza, turned out to be crackers with sliced cheese and pepperoni. Learnt my lesson, next time I visit miss liberty, eat before you get on that boat

For the only dining option on Liberty Island and an obvious tourist trap, The Statue of Liberty Crown Café does a pretty excellent job of having a variety of meal options that are pretty reasonably priced. The newly redesigned Crown Café has fresh sushi, pre-made salads, and cold sandwiches available for purchase. You can head to the hot food area and get anything from paninis, salmon, a variety of burgers, chicken fingers, flatbread pizzas, etc. The menu has a pretty good selection of non-fried foods if you’re looking for something healthier. I tried the flatbread pepperoni pizza which was filling and very good. My boyfriend had their signature burger which he said was great! Prices were pretty reasonable with standard entrée and side option for around $ 9. The newly redesigned Crown Café is a definite step up from any tourist trap’s café.

I have been there twice and I should say the food was good. There were just too many people so that the waiting time was really long.

Really good fries, onion rings and burgers! Suppresses the hunger which you get after roaming the island… price can be reduced though… good quantity !

On Liberty Island there is a small little grille/booth with outdoor seating and a nice menu with many healthy food choices. It was crowded but the tables turned over quickly. It is not far from the entrance to the statue and museum. The menu has a few wraps, panini salads and of course some grille items. Had a chicken wrap that was good. Others in our family had a cheeseburger and a salad and all were happy with our lunch. Our food came out fast.

The food was average and overpriced, but my largest complaint with this place is it’s blatant disregard for order. You start in line and there is a wait time visible. It is a lie. My boyfriend and I were told that it would be a 4 minute wait. We did not get out of that line until 45 minutes later. The line was chaotic. No one knew where to go. The single line dispersed into a frenzy of hungry New Yorkers who didn’t know which register to go to or even if there was a specific register for a specific type of food. Once the customers received their order they had to push their way back through the crowd carrying sometimes two and three trays to where they would pay for their meal. Not to mention the scant seating. This restaurant ruined an otherwise perfectly serene experience at our nation’s most famous landmark. We will never eat here again.

Very limp salad that came with the panini. The panini itself was not bad but certainly not great. The café is only good if you can’t wait to get back to manhattan

The perfect description of this place would be to call it: Perfectly-Imperfect. Compared to most other tourist trap food outlets Crown Café is actually not that bad. There are a good array of soups, salads along with a few other«healthy options» and shockingly the prices are not as bad as they could be nor are the portion sizes as small as I thought they would be. I mean there are a few squirrely quirks that we found such as the kids meal(Junior Ranger meal since you’re at a national park) hot dogs being listed as turkey dogs but the person who took my order mentioned that they have not had turkey dogs in a quite a while so «beef» is the only option. Also as other Unilocalers have mentioned, the seating arrangement is just plain stupid. There simply are not enough seats for a slow Thursday in January let alone when this place gets cooking during touristy times of the year or during school field trip season. You can’t rely on outdoor seating twelve months out of the year for a place located in NY. Move the statue to Key West and things are great but as long as we’re talking about being on the Hudson it just doesn’t work. But I guess when you’ve been the sole concessionaire to Liberty Island since the ’30’s, Evelyn Hill Inc. doesn’t have to worry about things like enough seating capacity or hell even having proper seats at all. Also let’s not even begin to discuss the cashiers who spend waaaaaay too much time talking/BSing with each other to even begin to know if someone is right in front of them or to care whether they ring things in correctly or not(1 kids meal on the house over here, Holla!). Overall it could be better(seating-staff) but it could be a whole lot worse(everything is fried/much smaller menu) so overall like I said earlier, perfectly-imperfect. Current Menu:

Yucks, just hate the food here. But, here is it — You have no choice but buy food from here when you visit the Statue of Liberty. Wish they would either permit outside food inside the Liberty Island or at least provide decent food. First up, one has to survive the insanely long lines to buy food. We bought a Teriyaki Salmon and a Grilled Chicken sandwich. The next pain is to get the plates out carefully so that you don’t bump into somebody and drop the food. Once you survive that, the next challenge is to find a place to sit and eat. This salmon that I got, oh dear god, it had no flavor at all whatsoever. A very small slice of salmon with a weensy bit of teriyaki sauce, some potatoes and veggies were close to ~$ 10. I would have got 10times that salmon slice from Costco for $ 10. Those veggies and potatoes — they were the blandest that I have tasted by far. Ridiculously priced horrendous food.
