Good and healthy options. Didn’t love the cold broccoli salad and too many squash options.

Dig Inn is a good choice when you’re making changes that will benefit your health, but I wouldn’t recommend it otherwise. For my lunch: Wild Sockeye Salmon w Brown Rice Sides: Kale and Sweet Potato Cost: $ 11 I made the mistake of giving kale another go. Despite its numerous health benefits and versatility for cooking/eating, my taste buds just still don’t like it, and Dig Inn’s quality ingredients still don’t make it any better. Sweet potato was the enjoyable part of the meal, but not enjoyable enough to warrant part of an $ 11 price tag. Salmon was very dry, and very small portioned; not very enjoyable. Many a sprinkling of salt and pepper snowed upon the itty fillet. For a $ 10+ lunch, this wasn’t worth it to me; particularly because I wasn’t very full at the conclusion of the meal and it didn’t taste great. If your goal is to get your health on though, this might become a go-to. The line will seem impossibly long, but it actually passes very quickly with the line assembly thing they’ve got going on.

I love this place… The food is always so fresh and deliciously healthy… not to mention the staff is great! I usually don’t drink my calories. but…there is a Ginger mint lemonade that is to die for! A special thanks to Mika… who prepares it daily. THANKYOUMIKA! You’re the best! The best food in this area

Dig Inn knows how to cook its vegetables. I come here at least a couple of times weekly and I don’t even bother getting meat anymore.(Granted their salmon is also amazing with the pesto) Order a large veggie plate for less than $ 8 and you got yourself an extremely good lunch without even realizing it’s vegan. Right now the winter menu has 3 of my favorite vegetable dishes ever: curried kale + delicata squash, sunchoke + endive salad, roasted carrots w/kale pepita pesto. The roasted carrots, on a good day, is bangin’.(Sometimes it’s undercooked and crunchy.) I am also a huge fan of the farro + butternut base right now. Different from the bulgur and heartier in my opinion.

Fast and healthy lunch option, on the pricy side though! Service is speedy quick and I nearly ran out of time looking through all the options for sides. Typical order for a lunch platter is a grain(rice/faro), a protein, and 2 sides. I went with the faro, salmon, mac, and brussel sprouts.(I highly recommend the upscale mac as a side, I could eat that everyday…) Taste was great overall, but slightly disappointed with the small-ish portion for a «large» order. Other than that, 4 stars!

This joint is 3.5 stars in my book. It’s quite expensive for a combo meal of a protein and 2 sides. The salmon was really tasty, and my favorite surprise was the curried kale with squash. Definitely spring for it! Their regular kale left alot to be desired. As soon as I entered the joint, I noticed how all of the patrons’ plates were sort of a compos-table combo tray. I could’ve sworn that either this place copied whole foods’ concept(or vice versa). It makes you leave feeling like you’re feeding your body something healthy with something that doesn’t taste like cardboard.

I’m a fan! I was looking for something fast that didn’t taste fast, and this was a nice compromise. The food is fresh, you can customize things if you want to, and you have a lot of options to add sides or combine things to make a dinner combo just the way you want it. Will return!

I got steak, kale and carrots. I found the food to be ok. The steak was ok. $ 13 was too expensive for take out. Not a place for repeat.

Finally another restaurant worth the hype! Dig Inn offers everything you want from a fast food restaurant. Excellent choices of fresh protein, veggies and sides. Friendly customer service and their long lines move as fast at NYC. My first experience with Dig Inn was through their catering service. The website is easy to follow and can easily order food for a big event in 10 minutes. The catering delivery arrived on time and the delivery guy was very helpful in setting up the trays. We had everything from wild sockeye salmon, roasted kale, salads to my personal favorite the Upstate Mac n cheese. A couple weeks later, I decided to give this place a try during my lunch break. Naturally, I was greeted by the long lunch line but I don’t think I was there longer than 10 minutes. I ordered the large marketplace with 5 spice meatballs over rice, roasted kale and oh yes the seasonal Upstate Mac. I love how the mac n cheese is prepared and it’s not drowned in cheese. Sorry cheese lovers, there is a such thing as too much cheese. The roasted kale is so good you will forget you’re eating veggies and the 5 spice meatballs were nicely seasoned and very filling. Fast food restaurant serving up fresh, locally sourced, savory food with excellent customer service, timely catering services and reasonable prices. Dig Inn has it all and highly recommend it.

Locally sourced, reasonably priced? I’m all in!!! This is my go-to spot for lunch. The line is usually out the door on weekdays lunchtime. Today, I join the end of the line right outside of Gregory’s Coffee(approx 40 – 50 people ahead of me). It took about 12 mins to get your food and checkout from where I lined up. Large Marketplate $ 10.33 plus tax — Choose your bed of grains, protein, and 2 sides. I went with Large, specialty grain(bulgar), charred chicken, seasonal upstate mac and brussel sprouts. I’ve had this combo endless times and would highly recommend it. The charred chicken is packed with flavor if you want a change from the popular Chipotle. Bulgar is also a nice switch from brown rice as it has a nice Mediterranean spice blend to it. Upstate Mac and cheese is creamy and cheesy, topped with a panko bread crumb for some crunch. Get the app if you become a regular here. Once you spend $ 99, you’ll get a $ 10 credit towards the next meal. Portions are quite big(large plate) and the line moves at a reasonable pace. Be friendly to the staff. they’ll remember you and hook you up with larger portions!

Great food — the chicken is so good! — and the line moves SUPER fast. Employees are very pleasant — I had no idea how to order and the employee behind the counter was so patient and helpful. I’m not a huge fast food person, but I could definitely appreciate fast food that’s THIS fast and THIS good.

I don’t understand why this location doesn’t offer the sandwiches and salads that the other locations do. It’s really disappointing, because I think those items are generally better/more interesting than the plates. That being said, the plate offerings are fine — I really like their chicken, which is not a meat I typically get excited about, but it is particularly juicy here. I also like the spinach salad they offer during the summer months, as well as the mac and cheese. However, some of the other veggie offerings taste a little bland to me. Overall a good spot for a healthy lunch, but not the most exciting.

The hot food is okay and straight forward on your selection choices, although a huge line, but the salad bar blows. Why must Dig-In design my salad? Why can’t i be given a set number of selection choices for my salad Plus the additional cost for protein in lieu of the Dig Inn menu designed salad without causing a major fluster to the salad maker. Its unbelievable. She was so flustered she gave me the wrong protein. I took it anyway since it was made but jeez louise P. s. As, time goes on like others have mentioned quantity and quality going downhill… i.e. a quarter of a bruised avocado instead of half of a fresh one, Kale which once great as greens now is cut with squash and chickpeas??? Both resistant starches. Place is getting less and less great as time goes on and i go less and less there for lunch… i used to go there all the time but now maybe once a month.

This location is the only Dig Inn location I’ve tried, so I can’t compare it to another, but I suppose the food has a standard menu. The Star score is based on overall experience, taste of food, and atmosphere. I have tried the hot plates(vegetables and rice are always undercooked, the whole lemon and kale just don’t mix well, salmon is good, not bad), sandwiches(was good, but not second-time worthy), and salads; overall, I can report that my top pick is the Steak & Avocado salad. For $ 11 — It is delish! There is also selections of fresh brewed cold tea, and I always go with the Black Tea. Which is unsweetened, and they do not provide sugar. There are other teas and punches offered that use agave(nectar) to make it sweet. There are also refridgerated infused waters, and other healthy drinks. They are Level Up participants, so remember to scan your card.

Everyone loves DIGINN! Like where else can you get comfort food that’s 99.9% healthy?(at least that’s what I tell myself) This location is ok but definitely can be much bigger. It’s the financial district for crying out loud you need space for all the hungry brokers! As long as they always have the salmon and mac available I’m a happy camper :-)

I am a huge fan of Dig Inn but I am not a fan of this location so much. The pictures online made this place loook sooooooo nice and big but in reality its not that great and pretty small. It is mostly for the business people who work in the area. The huge size of the Union Square location would prob be better for a Dig Inn in this area. So many employees to go through to order one meal, but at least they were nice. Also, it’s sad that the menu online does not match what is in store. I walked all the way downtown to get my perfect meal of charred chicken, kale grape feta salad, sriracha string beans over brown rice cause it said it online but it didn’t match at all except the charred chicken. Like wtf Dig Inn, so sad. All the sides were greens which is OK but they usually have more exciting colorful sides so I ordered the one that wasn’t green which was the lentil and apple which was really nice. I got their upstate Mac and cheese which I have been craving and it’s really yummy, they even put some sort of crumble on top making it a bit crispy. Over all an excellent meal as always, just don’t like the storefront.

I went here to try the fish and it wasn’t too bad, not as flavorful. I ordered the small size, it’s just enough honestly and for the price I wouldn’t order the large. I had the fish on a bed of spinach and as my sides, I had the Mac and cheese, which was yummy and cold kale and radish salad. All were tasty and I love their blackberry green tea or something.

I work near Dig Inn so I’ve passed it a couple of times. My co-worker said the place was good and healthy, so we went there for lunch today. If someone asked me to describe it in one sentence, I’d say: It’s a healthier(and more delicious) version of Chipotle. Although, you can’t really compare the two because they’re completely different. I absolutely love this place. The portions are huge so I think the price is reasonable. Everything looked so good and I was really surprised that they had salmon. The sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts are de-lic-ious. During lunch time, the line is very long but it moves fast. The music was blasting so I wouldn’t stay and eat there.
