Worse costumer service ever, very inappropriate employees. And they always get your order wrong. -.-’

Oh this Starbucks can kiss my olive colored ass! Do you know much I buy from Starbucks on a monthly basis? The CEO should be calling me on my birthday(who also grew up in the same town as me thankyouverymuch) I’m waiting for my train. It’s late. I’m tired and I have two choices: wait in the LIRR waiting room with homeless people or sit in Starbucks. The counterperson comes over to me, you can’t sit here unless you buy something. What??? Can you image that happening in Long Island? Sorry, you can’t bring in your own food, only our food. I’d be locked up. Anyhoo, I tell the girl I’m tired and my train will be here in a few minutes. Sorry Mr. Billy S, out! I was tempted to order 10 frappachinos and bolt but instead? I chill. I order a small iced coffee. I wait for my train and I’m on my way. This place is a mad house during the morning rush, there’s three other Starbucks street level if you need a cuppa coffee.

I have to say for this location, to have the traffic it has it is nice to see the orders come out correct. They are always consistent. Even tough they are busy, they are no where close to as busy as the other locations through Manhattan!

Starbucks is my favorite breakfast place. I love the Dragon coffee, had 32 oz already.

Sandwiches overall are relatively consistent, as they are shipped from another location. However, the service is rushed and inattentive. They get my drink orders wrong 75% of the time. Music is also too loud. If it wasn’t for the location, I would not continue my patronage.

Open late! So it is a good place to get a cup of coffee after a night of drinking in the city. There are 2 locations inside Penn Station. I have always received great service and great coffee. They have plenty of seating. I charge my phone while I wait for my train.

Quickly stopped here to grab a cup before heading to the subway. During your morning commute or peak hours, expect the line to be long and busy. However on days I was there, the staff worked diligently and got everyone’s order done. There are some small tables available on the side, but not many. There are also no restrooms granted that you can find other restrooms in Penn Station.

This is the Starbucks inside of Penn Station. It’s right by the Subway going Uptown & Queens. Depends on the time of the day there will be long line as expected, especially during rush hour.

Just want to say these guys are stellar! Yes it gets crazy busy in here, but they will take great care of you if you’re a nice person ;) I waited forever(over 15 mins) in Starbucks time for my flat white yesterday. The guys promised me that it would be on them next time. Here I am — promise being fulfilled! I appreciate you guys! Special shout out to Matt for making it happen! THANKYOU!

It’s crazy that they don’t have decaf hot coffee and you have to wait for drip or a decaf Americano. Most of the time I can’t wait. Change your policy. Other coffee places sell decaf.

I’m assuming this is the 34th street Starbucks across from Penn Station. Anyway, today I wanted a frappuccino and snack from Starbucks. Walked in, and there was a LONG line. Once I got to the beginning, I noticed there were no more frappé cookies, so I went for the salted caramel cake pop(which is the best cake pop btw) and the new Salted Caramel Iced Mocha. The cake pop was good as always, but the Salted Caramel Iced Mocha… What. The. Heck. It tasted horrible. I’ve tried mochas before, and I’ve never been too fond of them, but this is the worse mocha I’ve tried. The coffee was terrible. The only delicious thing was the whipped cream with the caramel and salt. I ended up not finishing the horrible drink. Terrible drink. Do not get the mocha, just stick with the basics. Anyway, the Starbucks is pretty good otherwise.

I’ve lived in Manhattan for just under a year now and since then I’ve really grown to love and appreciate a good cup of coffee. With the said, I go to Starbucks less often than when I initially moved in because let’s face it– it’s just Starbucks. Really doesn’t take much to be a decent cup of coffee here when they’re located on every other(if not every) street corner. Yes I know nobody goes to Penn Station and expects a calm experience. We’re a melting pot of people who generally don’t want to talk to anyone or deal with any additional stressors while going from point A to B on the daily commute. Tonight I had to go back to Long Island to visit family and left an extra 25 minutes upon arrival at Penn because I’m used to rushing just seconds away from missing my train. The Starbucks in Penn Station has got to be the absolute WORST Starbucks, actually THE worst that I have yet to «experience». Same thing every time, I get iced unsweeted iced coffee. You put the already brewed iced coffee in a cup, add a scoopful and some of ice and hand it off to the customer. I’m not being a Starbucks snob by any means if that’s what you’re taking from this review. The woman at the register was very nice, I actually noticed she not onlye upsold the person in front of me but also got her to buy coffee grinds to take home(kudos). But it took about 15 – 20 minutes from the time I walked into Starbucks before I received my coffee. And this isn’t the first time this has happened to me at this Starbucks. No it was not busy, it was not rush hour but it obviously aggravated me enough that I’m writing an essay long review over it. The«barista» added 3 ice cubes to my coffee, didn’t fill it to the top. I was honestly pretty confused. But I go to Starbucks because I add a ridiculous amount of cinnamon to my coffee. I like it bitter, and other coffee shops like Dunkin don’t offer cinnamon because they’re a little more basic, and a little less expensive. The cinnamon was on the counter by the milks as usual but bone dry, when I asked at the register for some she looked around at the other employees and then looked at me with a confused look as well, like I was making some kind of demand. Said they have somewhere in the back. But I was not going to make a scene it was just cinnamon and I was not going to piss the employee off I doubt they wanted to deal with it but at the same time there was lack of effort and they weren’t even considering going to the back to get it or the satisfaction of the customer. So I was out. It gets under my skin when it’s 8:30pm, the individuals serving you aren’t even paying attention to you or what they’re doing(evidently not doing their job, which I understand it’s late and you’re being underpaid) but their negativity projects into the customer and the overall brand. I’ve worked in the service industry for some time and I respect those who are in it because they understand that it’s not always the easiest job dealing with people. As a manager or someone of higher status at this particular bucks, you should really have a better handle on your employees. It’s Penn Station and there’s a lot of traffic. Your employees are not doing their job, not even trying. Oh and I didn’t even get my cinnamon.

There are 2 Starbucks in this location on the same level. If you’re waiting for the LIRR it’s a great place to sit and sip on a beverage. If you’re asking the NJ Transit or Amtrak they have their own waiting areas. One of the fastest Starbucks in NYC Note: No Bathroom

Cramped… but they do their best with the space they’ve been given. Not the fastest ‘bucks…actually, one of the slower. Have yet to ever arrive at any time of day when there is any seating available. But at least a really good meeting spot when you’re meeting folks taking a train in from the burbs!

Used to be great. But under staffed at morning rush hour. Takes 10+ Minutes to get coffee in the morning. Half the staff is just standing around not doing anything. Morning rush in NYC is not a slow pace.

Have been here many times yet this time frustrated me the most. Ordered the regular venilla machiato as well as the regular croissant, it took more than 15 min to make. If I were not repeatedly asking where my coffee was I must have missed my Amtrak. Felt so bad about this place as they seemed not care about your feeling at all. So disappointed about this place and will never come back again.

It is Christmas morning and I am in Penn Station heading to my train. On the way to the waiting room I duck into Starbucks to transfer some gift cards to my regular one and have a cup of coffee. Zaro’s is my normal stop while waiting for the train but I recently started a low carb DIEt(during the holidays!!!) so I chose wisely to avoid sitting in a restaurant full of bagels! Now to work at this Starbucks must take a lot of patience because you have to continually differentiate between who is there as a customer and who is there to sleep and steal napkins(I witnessed both groups). The staff does an admirable job trying to decide between the two. They also do a good job being friendly and efficient. Seating was limited but I snagged a seat for a few minutes until some guy sat next to me and started nodding off despite a visit from the staff reminding him that this was not a hotel. The coffee by the way was fine… standard Starbucks and the music was excellent. So until the diet ends and I go back to Zaro’s bagels, I’ll be stopping here!

This is the Starbucks I am at nearly every weekday morning in Penn Station when I exit the train. Pros — Even when it is crowded, you never wait long. — Extremely efficient ordering service where an employee takes your order while you are on line and relays it to the baristas. — Not one single time has an order ever been messed up except when I or my girlfriend misspoke. — Top of the line staff full of seasoned veterans. Special shout out to employees Celina and Kerwin. — Very friendly staff that laughs and jokes with you and makes you feel at home at least most of the time. — Very well stocked and extremely clean. — We order stuff off the secret menu all the time and it is always perfectly made and without any hassle. Cons Actually, none, at least nothing other than what it characteristic of Starbucks itself(overpriced drinks, having to put in your own condiments, overcrowded with a lack of seats, etc). Honestly, this particular Starbucks gets it right so much that I don’t even care about those things. If you want to see a well managed Starbucks with top marks in every category, and have some fresh coffee served quick, this should be your go-to place in Manhattan. Especially if you are commuting.

This Starbucks I like. Look, the coffee is crap. That’s not really why people go to this place… they go because there is nowhere else, and they are stuck in Penn Station waiting for their train 45 minutes away. Now, why does one choose this particular Starbucks over the other one 50 ft away? Because there is SEATING, out of the main traffic of passengers, and you can PLUG in your devices! I mean, WHAT?! Yes, that’s what I said. You can PLUGINYOUR electronic shiznit while you sip on a super skinny chai chocolate thingamabob. AND, I’ve never worried about being kicked out, even after sitting there for 45 minutes with only one cup of iced coffee. This is definitely the less populated of the 2, so why not?

This Starbucks[1] is perfect when you need caffeine and there’s no time to find a local coffee shop[2]. It’s not always mobbed, surprising considering it’s plum in Penn Station. There’s actually seating, if you’re of a mind to relax there for some reason. Cheery, quick service. Starbucks cards — and credit cards, obviously — are accepted. Last I checked, this was NOT a 24-hour Starbucks. [1] Strangely I’m first to review this place, which could mean I’ve got the business listing wrong or something. [2] Shame on you, do your research!
