Tried this place before World Trade Center museum tour. Pizza was okay. Staff wasn’t the nicest. With so many good options, I’d pass on this place. I had the combo pizza. Mom had the chicken calzone which had what looked like 5 pounds of cheese inside. There is a such thing as too much cheese occasionally. Desserts looked good but didn’t try. Slices were priced reasonably. So I didn’t spend a ton.

Good pizza– bad service. Guy at the register overcharged us by almost $ 3.(On a 4 item order– should not have been difficult to ring up) When I realized we had been overpriced, I brought it to the attention of the girl walking around clearing and serving: she brings it the attention of the guy at the counter — who seemed not to care. After a few minutes I go to the counter to address– the girl isn’t getting anywhere with them and is asking if we paid by credit?(No cash– the place is closing, practically empty, and we only finished the purchase 4 minutes ago!) The guy at the register is helping another customer. Before I can say anything he says ‘don’t worry you’ll get your money.’ He’s working a register that has a recording tape– so all he needs to do is roll the tape back(we were only the 2nd to last transaction) Instead he takes a dollar out of the till and throws it on the counter at me. I tell him it’s more than a dollar~ and I’ll wait till he’s done helping the customer so he can figure it out. Then he reaches in, grabs a 5 and throws it at me. Some f**king nerve– you make the mistake, you overcharge people and instead of an apology I get an arrogant asshole. Pizza’s not that good to put up with a disrespectful prick-won’t ever go back.

Yummy pizza and nice there is seating if you want it and waiter service but I think you can also order yourself and sit down at the counter area. Super busy at lunchtime with tourists and work people. So much quieter after 1/1:30pm.

Awesome NY style pizza! I was touring the area and wanted to find the best pizza around the WTC memorial, and this popped up. So glad I came here. Go for the Stage Door Special Pizza, and you won’t be disappointed.

(Full disclosure: I’m a tourist from TN. I hate chain pizza and Chattanooga is not the place for a good pie.) NY pizza! Foldable. Hot. Cheesy. Creamy. Sturdy. Oily. Flavorful. Everything I want in a slice of pizza. The establishment? Cozy. Casual. On the 2nd floor so sitting by the windows gives a nice view for people watching. The service: friendly. Patient. All smiles. Loved it!

Woah… if you’re going to the World Trade sites or are down in the area stop by! Came on a Saturday at noon, a bit crowded but got a seat right away. Had the upside down sicilian slice and the sausage slice. My gf had the buff chicken. All fantastic. And they serve beer! Great spot to stop by. It was a tad chilly inside but it is 15 degrees outside right now so I can’t really blame them.

One of the nicest veggie pizzas I’ve had in a while. Loaded with fresh veggies, and they were so yummy. I can’t believe a random Unilocal find was so good. If you’re visiting in the area and want to grab a quick bite before heading to the 9⁄11 memorial, this is the place to go!

We were so worried this was a tourist trap being so close to WTC but it was amazing. We were STARVING! perfectly wood fired crust and the dining area was full of locals so that’s a good sign. The pizza margharita was all we could talk about the rest of the week and I would have gone back had we been in that area.

Being from Chicago, I understand that pizza is an art. Of course, NY pizza and Chicago pizza are completely different, this place does New York-style pizza justice. The location is very convenient as it is a stone’s throw away from the Freedom Tower, 9⁄11 Memorial and public transit. This place has two parts: deli on the first floor and pizza joint on the second. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you! This place is clean and service is quick! The pizza itself is fresh from the oven and greasy… what more could you want?! The one thing take into serious consideration for NY pizza is the foldability factor. This meets and exceeds the test! Stop in for a cheap slice or pie and a drink. You won’t be disappointed!

Not to be that person, buuuuut, a lot of these high ratings are coming from tourists. It’s not BAD pizza, but I wouldn’t send someone from out of town here expecting them to get an idea of what divine, perfect NYC pizza is like. The toppings are fresh– their mushroom slice(the one with both portobello and white mushrooms) is hearty as hell. My main gripe is that the crust is completely limp. On a vegetable slice this make sense, but even the plain slice was weighed down with grease and enters your mouth with a mushiness that’s just plain rude. The deli is downstairs, the pizza is upstairs. During lunch time a line snakes down the narrow stairs, but if you’re there for takeout just by-pass it and go right to the pizza counter. They have garlic, red pepper flakes, but seemingly no oregano.

«What do you mean I have to wait another hour before tickets at the One World Observatory are available?!» Well, buy ‘em and go grab a quick bite. Great place for a quick, hot cheesy bite around the Freedom Tower or 9⁄11 Memorial. That’s definitely how they bank roll– what other places around town charge ½ as much for a slice, this place capitalizes on the tourism here. Pizza here is satisfying and molten. Go get you some while you wait. Then go back to line and wait some more.

After seeing the 9⁄11 Memorial, a very nice man suggested this spot. We got a combo, minus onion(boo Dad! Ha) and a margarita pizza. We opted for two 10inch, though slices are available. Service was quick and friendly, the establishment clean and the pizza was bomb. Go(it upstairs) and enjoy. **the deli downstairs looked awesome btw. Worth the trip all around.

My morning travels take me to Downtown Civic Center for morning wake-up liquids. One hot Green Tea at $ 2.50 serve its purpose. Line for takeout is efficient and moves at a moderate speed. Stage Door Pizza is a delicatessen and a sit-down pizzeria diner which, I unfortunately, did not have the pleasure to intake the overall dinning experience. Their Margarita pizza appears very appealing. Catering is available.
