Celebrating my Valentine night at Spice Bar with Valentine’s drink special … Very chocolate martini by CHRIS. It’s just so amazing with a nice and friendly conversation. And ended up with Fried Ice Cream with strawberry sauces. What can I expecting more on Valentine? It’s just PERFECT!!! :)

Easy place to go with groups. Always seated immediately. Good selection of noodles and curries on the menu. Pad Thai’s a little sweet for my taste.

The food is amazing the drunk man noodles are great! The golden fritters and chicken wings are my favorite. You have to try it. They are super friendly and really cater to specialty orders. Love going there for lunch.

Give this place another try and was glad I did. The service staff was pretty accommodating as I requested they pan fry my seafood dumpling which is normally seemed only… it was really tasty with their special sauce [a stray away from the normal soy sauce]. The mixed veggie with garlic sauce was also very fresh and tasty… and they again accommodated by adding scrimp. The beverage was also good; a bit sweet, but that’s the way I like it… had enough ice to water it down as needed . Overall the entire experience was great and the food was on point too… and not too expensive.

In my opinion the best location of this chain restaurant. Love love love the Lychee Martini. Great Happy hour. The vegan dish: brown rice with green vegetables is amazing.

Portions are small but the food wasn’t bad. Just not that filling. I had the Kao Pao Moo Krob over rice and it is a stir fried pork belly and vegetable dish. This particular one came with a scotch egg which was a delighful surprise. The sauce on the side was delicious –a bit tangy and vinegar-y-but too many jalapenos killed it for me.

Horrible experience. Sat down on a Saturday night, was rushed thru the entire meal, check was on the table while still eating. Once they returned the check They told us people were waiting and we needed to leave… I am very upset and will let everyone know that it’s not ok.

With the(over) abundance of Thai restaurants in Chelsea(and HK), it’s surprising how a mediocre-at-best one stay in business. This doesn’t even take into account that another outpost of the same chain(Spice), in my opinion far better quality, is literally across the street 1998th Ave. I decided to give Spice Corner another shot today for lunch. I ordered the Japanese eggplant holy basil with Tofu and seafood tom yum. The dish was bland and the soup didn’t have any of the tang that tom yum should have, though I must say that it had a decent amount of seafood in it. I’d definitely recommend the sister spot across the street over this place.

Food was delicious, but service is everything. Went in on a Friday around 5 for happy hour at the bar. We were doing great and ran into some friends who ended up joining us. The bar started getting a bit busy and it was time for us to go. We got the bill and everybody’s food and drinks were on 1 check. Ok that’s fine except that we weren’t all together necessarily. Our friends happen to be there and join. When we asked for split checks the bartender got terribly rude and made it a huge deal that he was separating into 3 checks! Not a hundred checks, but 3! THEN, he ended charged an automatic 18% gratuity because we were more than 5 people? We weren’t all together! Really turned off and probably won’t go to this Spice again.

I love love Spice. It’s one of my favorite bars in Chelsea. Chris bartender is outstanding. I never regret to bring friends or family here. Drinks and food are outstanding quality in an affordable price. Stop by! You will be the next spice’s fan club or CHRIS’s fan lol

This Spice location was perfect for what we needed. The service is quick, food is good, the atmosphere is nice and the prices are right. I stopped by there with two friends after enjoying some happy hour cocktails at a local bar. Our server was very approachable and got to our order shortly after we sat down which was fine given that we were all hungry. I have been to a couple Spice locations and they are generally all good and this one did not falter.

The place is spacious and modern. The menu has a large variety of dishes and the prices are reasonable. The spicy calamari, spicy lo mein, and the chicken pad thai were very good. Be prepared for the big portions. The service was good and we were attended to immediately.

Hubs and I came here for lunch because I’ve been wanting to try here for a while. We ordered the lunch specials. For apps, I ordered the Crispy Spring Rolls, which were nice and crispy. I ordered the Siamese Fried Rice which is egg, tomato and scallions with tofu. It was a little disappointing because it tasted bland. Hubs ordered the Spice Chicken Basil Wrap and liked it. The basil was a nice touch. Finally, for the entrée, he ordered the Japanese Eggplant Holy Basil and thought it ok. Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

It was something in the area before a comedy show and I could not eat meat, so my boyfriend and I stopped it. The people were very friendly and the service was attentive, but the food and drink were just average. It had flavor but not too much. I had the 6’o Clock fried rice with tofu, which was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn’t. My boyfriend had the walnut shrimp, which was good and flavorful.

Lapin and I came in here one night for a late dinner. We were seated right away and our waitress was nice. We ordered the Golden Fritters which were good. Lapin ordered the crispy calamari. He got a huge helping and didn’t finish all of it. He said it was okay, nothing great about it. We got the Red Thunder fried rice with shrimp. I liked it but he wasn’t overly ecstatic about it. We ordered a couple of drinks which were good and definitely worth the $ 5. Overall, the food is decent and you can easily get a filling cheap dinner here.

This is a review of stupid business practice. I tired to call to make a pick up order at 5pm. Keep being put on hold by a voicemail system saying that «We are currently busy helping other customers, please hold» After holding for a 5 mins both times, I have walked my distance to the restaurant to find a sign that they were close and will be open after 5.30pm. Umm, 1st, if you are close for a break. Have a system that say you are close till a certain time. Then, outside the restaurant was a big barrel, fill with different variety of meat. Just sitting outside on the side walk. Don’t think I am going to chance going there again to get food.

This used to be my go to for take out but not any more. Last week I picked up take out chicken with cashew. Got home and found pad thai instead. I called them up and they said not to worry they will bring the right order over. Upon delivery the driver says don’t worry you can keep the pad thai… brilliant lucky me. What else was you going to do take it back and re sell it. So now I am happy until this time I found a piece of GLASS in it. Ok feck this I’m eating the cold pad thai. I went back tonight and whilst ordering i mentioned the glass incident from last week. He smiled and said«what’s your order ». A sorry would have gone a long way but instead he played dumb. Anyway I leave and go to eat my soup and they have given me a fork instead of a spoon with chopsticks. Spice you need to sort it out. Glass is not an ingredient and soup is served with a spoon.

Food: 3 stars Service: 2 stars Went to dinner with friends at Spice. It was pretty late at night and I was surprised they were still open at that our. First, the interior has a very industrial feel with steel solid tables, but I really liked the cool lighting they had. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai which unfortunately tasted way too sweet. I think it’s because they added too much sauce and it really overpowered every aspect of the dish. It was also very difficult for us to get any service or stop a waiter. I literally had to walk over to the cashier a few times in order to get them to come over. I’m unimpressed given how much competition there is in Manhattan for good Thai restaurants.

I’ve been here more than a few times — it’s a great place to take visitors from out of town who are traveling via Penn Station since it’s fairly close by. The service, in my experience, has always been speedy, and they are very attentive to filling your water glass as necessary and bringing you water as soon as you’re seated, which is a huge plus for me. The menu is decently priced, and the food has always been excellent on my visits. Last night I had the grilled honey duck and it was delicious! Perfectly cooked, rich, moist, and the sauce is sweet but not too sweet. The plating of the dishes is beautiful, and the ambiance is great-candles on every table and it isn’t so loud that you can’t hear yourself speak. The waitress brought our check as soon as we asked and brought our credit cards back promptly which is not that common in my experience. Overall, excellent service, and delicious, affordable food. Definitely worth trying if you are in the neighborhood.
