Tried several soups from here and they have always been very satisfying. I work in the area so I usually pick up lunch and then head back to the office to eat. This place is literally a kiosk and does not have its own seating. You can barely find lunch for a better price in this neighborhood!

I love the Soup Kiosk. I actually called Fanelli’s asking for a soup and they were like no ma’am… wrong place. Come to find out that the Soup Kiosk is it’s own 2′ x 8′ box attached outside to Fanelli’s! You learn something new everyday. The line gets long around the lunch hour but moves fast. The lovely girl who operates the Kiosk moves so fast and is always right! She can actually have a conversation while preparing 4 soups with a 10+ long line of peeps. I mean putting soup in a cup isn’t hard but — she’s got this thing down-packed. They have delicious chicken noodle soup($ 5 sm/$ 6LG), perfect for a cold winter day and I’ve recently tried the NE Clam Chowder that was a hit and was creamy and definitely filling! My boss loves the tomato soup and I’ve also heard from a colleague that the chili’s are great too. You can choose between bread or crackers with your soup. Yummmm. There’s simple ordering(she updates the chalkboard everyday with soups of the day) and it’s CASH only. Apparently they have sandwich wraps too but I’ve yet to try. Stop on by.

The soup did not taste very good, the setting did not seem very hygienic and the serving person was being very annoying.

I had this soup months ago and walked all over soho looking for it again bc it was so yummy and hearty. however, I didn’t order. the guy behind the counter was such a sarcastic asshole I couldn’t bring myself to give him my money. I went to calexico truck around the corner.(prince and Wooster)

Just got back and had a nice experience. Always love a walk through soho, very inspiring. I got a large beef chilli and it was SOUP-er filling, and tasted homemade. Can’t wait to try their other soups. The line was long(waited about 10 minutes during lunch rush hour) and this spot is cash only. Make sure you take a look at photos of this place before you get here so you can easily spot it ;)

A Soho staple! $ 6 for a large($ 5 for a small) fresh, piping hot soup and a large chunk of fresh baguette will leave anyone happy. The line runs long during the cold and rainy days but it moves fast. I typically do a chicken & veg soup or half&half veggie/beef chili(my own creation for less calories and optimal deliciousness). You can sample anything and they also have sandwiches. There are 2 rotating soup ladies. It’s possible they could be sisters, but they’re both very efficient and sweet.

I didn’t realize they were cash only and they spotted me my soup instead of me having to go out and get cash. Amazing!

This is a great place for a quick lunch. You can just buy it and bring it back to work. I had the Moroccan Lamb Soup today and it was so delicious especially in the winter time when all you need is to warm up! I brought it back to my office where my coworker mentioned that their avocado wrap is amazing! Can’t wait to try it next time :) Thanks Soup Kiosk!

Tomato Soup on a cold day is a magical thing. I got there late and got the last bit, but it tasted as fresh as ever, and didn’t disappoint. Somethings just make you want to go home and Unilocal about it, so here I am. This is only my second time here, but have directed a lot of SoHo visitors there, who have always been pleased. With winter approaching, I’ll be visiting often.

Ever find yourself hungry around soho but don’t want to stop your shopping extravaganza? Then you’ve got yourself a solution by stopping at this cute kiosk for a quick bite that is both tasty and inexpensive. Four different flavored soup. $ 5 for a small and $ 6 for a large size. Various cold beverages also available. Win. Win.

My office just moved to Soho and I was concerned that there wouldn’t be as delicious lunch spots as our previous location in Union Square. This soup kiosk will be one of my new go-to spots. The beef chili is insanely delicious and it’s reasonable — $ 6.50 for 12 oz and a fresh baguette. Yum! Can’t wait to go back tomorrow and check out some other items on the menu.

This place is the definition of hole in the wall! Don’t make the same mistake as me and walk into the bar behind the shop kiosk. The lady who served us was very nice and let us try out the soups before buying one, which was an unexpected surprise. My girlfriend and I had the new England clam border and Moroccan lamb stew. $ 7 for a large clan chowder and $ 7.50 for a large Moroccan lamb stew. We took the soup and bread to a nearby Starbucks on Crosby and Spring st. The clan chowder is average. There’s nothing special about the soup, and almost taste like the soup you get from the can from Progresso. I don’t know if that’s a compliment to Progresso or bad on the soup kiosk. The Moroccan lamb had a deep flavor to it and nice big chunks of lamb. Overall very delicious! The bread complimented the soups perfectly A bit pricey for soup for my taste but still good on a cold winter day! It’ll warm you up. .

EXCELLENT clam chowder, and at a really good price too! $ 6 for small chowder and a fresh baguette made my day. It would be nice if the kiosk had to-go cups for tabasco for those of us who don’t want to hold up the line by fishing out the soup container and trying to garnish it right there and then. Overall, an excellent find in SoHo and great for lunch!

Literally a shack on the side of the street, but makes for a great cheap lunch. The large is only $ 6 and comes with bread, but isn’t very big and will probably leave you hungry in a few hours. Reliably delicious soups — my favorite is the chowder.

I’ve basically worked on the same block as this little soup shack for two years, but today was the first time I even thought about trying it. Doh. Who wouldn’t want a piping hot cup of soup on a chilly day? They have wraps too, although I haven’t tried them yet. Was tempted by the Moroccan lamb special, but decided to stick to the basics for my first time. New England clam chowder($ 6 for the small) was rich and creamy, with a good amount of clam and potato pieces mixed in there. Comes with your choice of standard oyster crackers(can’t go wrong there) or bread(a little tough, but they also give you butter and dipping it in the soup helps immensely). I got both for an extra 50 cents, because I was hungry. Now, I am full. No complaints, and definitely something to keep in mind when you’re out shopping in Soho. This may be a winter go-to for me.

The vegetarian chili just made my mouth realize that food can still surprise you. It’s SO good that I will eat this outside on a 99 degree day. It’s just that great. I asked for a little extra cheese and the woman working was so nice and courteous. Six bucks for the soup and it comes with bread. You cannot beat it. You cannot beat the taste. What are you waiting for?

This place has some serious homemade soup. Nothing, Absolutely nothing beats it on a sub zero degree day for lunch. Recommend the N.E. clam chowder. It’s as authentic as it gets. Minor, Minor draw back is the girl who works behind the counter is seriously on her own watch. Not that big of a issue only that the soup is so good that the line gets ridiculously long and on those sub zero degree days makes it seem forever long since. She’s nice and chill, so it balances itself out.
