i am not a fan of shaved ice — never really liked the taste of it this place however has officially converted me with the green tea snow with strawberries and condensed milk it was so good that i was getting brain freezes from eating it too fast — so eat slow! they offer free samples of the snow so you can taste before buying as well

Amazing Taiwanese shaved snow with plenty of flavors to keep you coming back for more! A diverse selection of snow flavors include original sweet milk, taro, peach, strawberry, chrysanthemum, and green tea. The texture of the snow is perfect(not too fluffy like cotton candy or hard like ice chunks) Varieties of toppings to add variety include different fruits, roasted coconut, condensed milk, almond cookies, peanuts, and more. This place is a stall so there is not much to say about the the service except that they were very friendly and offered free samples of the snow before committing to a snow flavor. The stall is located at Fulton Market on weekends at South Street Seaport. Snow & Tell is a welcomed site in SSS if you’re looking to cool down on a hot/humid summer day.

NYC has been screaming for authentic Taiwanese shaved ice. Finally, someone who is authentically Taiwanese delivers. Currently only just a weekend food stall, Snow and Tell delivers flavors with a punch. The shaved ice comes in 3 flavors: original sweet cream, green tea, and taro. I’ve tried all 3 and taro definitely jumps out at me. The consistency of the shaved ice is like eating snow — except it’s clean and freaking awesome. Add grass jelly, almond cookie crumble, and condensed milk and you will be in heaven. They also offer other toppings, such as mango, lychee, red bean, watermelon, and more! It”s the best cool-me-down refreshment in hot, humid, NYC95 degree weather. If you ever find yourself in South Street Seaport or even just make a special trip out there for this delicious dessert, it will make your day.
