I helped a client on her bathroom. I recommended Smolka. That was a big mistake. They were rude, misrepresented the product and acted as if they were doing her a favor to come and measure for installation. The person that measured was rude as well and insisted they were right on every point of the installation. They were wrong. It took a great deal of complaining to get Smolka to fix the problem. Don’t go there!

ok prices, but not helpful if there are issues. Chaotic billing, they just charge your credit card and you have to beg for a receipt. They ordered a lot of wrong items. Most emails are rude and in all caps.

We did thousands of dollars in business with these lower than life individuals. We purchased 5 bathrooms worth of products from them and I thought they were good people. When I did another project I ordered 2 Robern Medicine cabinets. This was in 2006. In 2014 one of the cabinets hinges broke. When I called Robern to reorder parts. They said to send pictures so they could find out what medicine cabinet i had. When I did, they said THEY WERE NOT ROBERN MEDICINE CABINETS! I also purchased a sink that Suzette (the owner) said was great. The sink splashed water all around, and water would stand in the sink, instead of going down the drain. When I replaced the entire vanity and sink with Smolka, the new sink DID THE SAME THING!!! I have never experienced a bunch of skylarks before or after like the low lifes at Smolka. PLEASE DON’T BE FOOLED BY THESE CROOKS!

Warm and friendly staff. Low key and unpretentious showroom, great merchandise, and decent prices. I bought my sink, vanity, faucet, towel rods, and other accessories here. They keep good items in stock and provide timely delivery when they need to order something. A pleasure to work with, great business to have in the neighborhood
