This is no way reflective of The Club. The Equinox club is great. The Café is another story. It is disorganized for one. Employees just ignore Customers. Display items look completely different then they are when served. The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. This goes way back to when this was The Reebok Club. It was not good then and is not now and despite complaints to Equinox Mgmt it just gets worse. Rockefeller Center and San Francisco clubs are much better. Only Those with Club access have access to the Café. Consider yourselves lucky. I have had it and tried it for the last time unless there is a serious and complete overhaul of this Café.

Fresh, convenient café for members of the Equinox Sports Club gym. This café is not accessible to the public, as it is located inside the Equinox gym lounge area on the 2nd floor of the building. The café serves a wide variety of foods which are great for a post-workout meal. For breakfast, they have many options including bagels, omelets, and oatmeal. Their fresh salad bar has kale, mixed greens, and spinach as options, along with many toppings such as grilled kitchen, chicken salad, roasted red peppers, avocado, and a variety of vegetables. There are many salad and wrap options to order. There is also a grill with grilled entrees of the day, including chicken and salmon, as well as sides, in addition to regular options like burgers. Finally, there is a Mexican food station with burritos and tacos. Not the best food in the world, but an affordable and convenient café.

Terrible. Ordered 2 breakfast burritos. It took them over an hour to deliver 2 blocks away. They added ingredients that we didn’t order. Who puts corn on a breakfast burrito? By far the worst food/delivery service that I have had in the UWS.

This café is for Reebok Sports Club/NY members only. After a workout, I am often left wondering what to eat and where to go. The nice part of this café is that it is located in the gym lounge area. There is plenty of sunlight streaming in and there are plenty of places to sit. The food is healthy for the most part, plenty of kale, quinoa, salads, etc., but there are still giant chocolate chip cookies and cheeseburgers. However, for hot entrees, you can have grilled fish /chicken /beef, with a side of steamed veggies or brown rice. They dishes are also portioned very well, to support a healthy lifestyle. My one complaint is that the service can often be very slow, with multiple employees milling about, seemingly not helping customers, or slowly making one thing while a large line forms. That said, the people behind the counter are all very nice and are very accommodating for any modifications that you want to make to your order.

Their veggie purée soups and chopped salads are the BEST! It would be nice if they had a daily updated menu along with their nutrition facts available online.

I would like it to be noted that this café is not in fact on a sidewalk. Its not even ground level. Its an elevator ride two stories up* and you have to be a member of Reebok to eat here(or be meeting a member). So while the name may make it sound like«aw, ya, I just ran down to the sidewalk café and grabbed a bite to eat», you cannot in fact do that. Having said that, the food is both delicious and nutritious, and the comfy seating/free wifi never hurts. It is certainly a perk of my Reebok membership. *Rename suggestion: «The Second Story Café»
