Thank god Rumor has it Si Café is closing done at end of October. They just chased people away with their rudeness a total arrogant approach. They even their bad review removed. I know several people Who quit going. Lately you could notice the empty chaires. Good Riddance!

When you go into a caffe, you don’t expect to be so annoyed and disrespected by the service. Unfortunately, that’s what happens when you go to Sicaffe. I would go there every day since it’s on my way to work, but suddenly my wish to go in is gone for good. The pastries and drinks are good, but staff is terrible. The guy that works behind has no uniform on, he actually touched the brownie with his hands which I did not want afterwards and I have put that to his knowledge, tried to convince me in a very rude way that he didn’t touch it. I mean, seriously? Very, very rude and uncomfortable. The girl that worked with him laughed with him all the way. I’m not stupid, I can hear and see what’s going on. I go in a caffe to order not teach you and discuss the customer service that’s supposed to be delivered. I know more about his job then he does. Crazy right?

One of the best Mochas I had in the city… really really good!!! Not too sweet not too bitter just the right balance for a nice decadent coffee.

I was trying to decide what to order, and when I told the cashier, she said, «Wow,» and walked away. Then she snatched away the tea menu I was looking at.

Nice café to do some work, and during their peak hours on weekends, there’s a lot of shuffling and conversation. I can only review their coffee(which is standard) and muffins, which are quite substantial and filling. Definitely a café frequented by locals if you’re looking to avoid all the commotion about 20 streets south.

Came here on Saturday afternoon as I was walking around in the pouring rain and looking for iced coffee before I reached my destination. All I ordered here was a french vanilla iced coffee and I was pleased with the flavor, service and the price was typical for the upper east side. What did annoy me here was the clear mislabelling of the vanilla sweetener powder… it was cinnamon(pictured below). Grrrrrrrrr. This would be acceptable if coffee here were $ 2 — but it’s not. I paid a little over $ 5 for a large coffee whose cup would be labelled a medium anywhere else. Sicaffe, hire detail-oriented employees and keep your coffee bells & whistles section well stocked if you’re going to be fancypants. Thanks.

Recently stumbled upon this place. Had a Latte and a Ham and Cheese sandwich. Both were very good. The interior is very nice and the people are friendly. They also have free WIFI. I didn’t try their regular coffee(which often at places like this can be much different quality), but their espresso drinks seem very good. Would definitely go back again. Hope to try one of their pies next time. :)

Sicaffe is a small, cozy coffee shop right near Hunter College on Lexington Ave. During their busy hours(especially the mornings during rush hour) you’ll see that it’s packed inside. Even though it may get busy, the workers here are ridiculously efficient and get the orders through in a speedy fashion. I ordered a medium coffee $ 2.75 and a flagel(yes they have them here!) which was $ 1.25.(Cream cheese is extra.) The have: sunflower seeded, sesame and everything. The coffee was pretty strong and their sizes are bigger than what I’m used to. I thought my medium was in fact a large. My breakfast cost less than $ 5. As for the flagel, it was delicious. They toasted it for me and it was just right. I’ll be back here very soon.

Oooo I like this place. Cozy but not crowded, peaceful yet lively, a wide selection of pastries beautifully displayed at the counter, and a big window perfect for people watching. Things are a little bit expensive but hey, we are at the upper east side(and it’s still cheaper than Blue Bottle). Staff were lovely, the muffin and the scones were tasty and filling, the latte was smooth but strong, and most importantly, the AC was working at perfect temperature. After four freezing hours in the Met and 30 burning minutes out in the hot, humid New York summer air, there’s nothing more I could ask for.
