Just came from having a delicious meal at this place, food is tradional Honduran food. Every plate is great. I go all the way from Astoria NY because I feel is worth the travel. Today we shared the pastelitos, chacharron con yuca, churrasco y orchata with my sister and fiancéé… no disappointment, on any dish. The waiters are fast and courteous. So far one of my favorite places to eat. The only downfall is going there during the summer. When they keep turning on and off the air conditioner. So if is hot, I avoid going there. Otherwise, one of my very favorite restaurants to have the best meals from Central America. They have many choices of food.

My family and I had a really bad experience, there were hairs in 2 of our meals. One in my brother’s plate and two hairs in my girlfriend’s plate. When we told the waitress about it and showed her, she really gave us a hard time about taking it back and giving us fresh food. On top of this, we felt that she kept insisting on us to add extra add-ons to run up our bill. Although the place did look clean and decent from the outside, that was not the case inside, along with horrible service. Will not ever come back here.

Tastes like home, back home. The food is authentic and the service was good. I had Honduran enchiladas for starters and Yuca con Chicharron for entrée. I was not disappointed. Soups are also great. Make sure you go there on an empty stomach. Portions are big.

BEWARE!!! Horrible service… this place was terrible. The server gave me a dish that I didn’t ask for and when I complained she acted as if I was crazy. She never offered the correct dish, or to remove the dish from my bill… then she charged an extra 43 dollars and when we complained the manager says, «oh it’s a mistake» like its no big deal… Never going back… the service is horrible. And because I was given something I didn’t want, the food was horrible too

Gave this place another chance, but my experience just got worse. We ordered a skirt stake and got something else. When we told the waitress, all she said was oh and smiled. Although we received the wrong dishes, we gracefully tried to pay and leave. Then, we get our receipts and we were charged 150% of the bill. I obviously brought it to the attention of the staff and all they could say was oops. Not even apologetic. This place has horrible service. Avoid it.

Great menu! Great service! Great food! Gostavo served us and he did a great job. I ordered the breaded chicken breast and I didn’t regret it. It came with a garlic sauce for my tostones. Two words — finger lickin’! I’m coming back as soon as I get hungry again!

I’m almost afraid to give it 5 stars because I selfishly want to keep to myself! But on a serious note; Central American food is by far my favorite and the food in here is very authentic and brings me back to my mother’s homemade food! The Baleadas are the very best, the pupusas are filling and delicious. I’ve had the steam fish; its very fresh and flavorful. The horchata is refreshing. My very favorite item in the menu is the tajaditas con carne words can not describe how delicious this meal is! I highly recommend it!

Ordered puposas to go, when i got home so in the rush because i was hungry and knowing how puposas should look like and taste it so disappointed and wanted to go back and ask dor my money back. Now i know for next time not to orderd from this place, is no worth it.

Coming from an El Salvadorian Family, we are constantly on the prowl for quality pupusas, and we have so frequently come up short on our expectations from place to place. With Seis Vecinos, we have finally found our go-to spot. The Pupusas are dense, with plenty of meat(also cheese, beans, whatever you decide), along with tasty flour tortillas, and their other menu items are effectively flavorful as well, particularly their churrasco steak, with what feels like a mountain of rice and refried beans. Tons of quality food, with solid prices to boot.

Great customer service! One of the best places I’ve been to. The women talk Spanish mostly but it’s nothing you can’t work with. I like the outfits the wear. I know I know who cares about what they wear. Well I do! You can just walk into a place and everyone is wearing different clothes. That throws the whole business to hell in my opinion. All black shirts with the business logo on it and hair pulled back. Trust me I keep track of details. They greeted me, asked me how my day was and then took my order. I ordered a baliada de chorizo. It was a huge portion. I mean huge and I loved every minute of eating that thing, then j got immensely full when I started the Horchata. It was absolutely delicious and fabulous. I will forever go back. I am so proud of my hondurians for this spot. A great chill place to eat and catch up with friends and locals from the community and culture. What more can you ask for! For that one small meal it cost me 10.75 it was soooooo worth it.

LOVE me some Seis Vecinos! I’m so glad this opened in my area. I’ve had several dishes here and they have not disappointed me yet. Pollo con tajadas, carne asada, pupusas, desayuno tipico, guacamole, EVERYTHING is great. Had a salty meal once but it was not unbearable. The reason why I give it four stars is because you never know who your waiter is! You start with someone and end with another. The BEST person they have there is Dora she is the sweetest and the most attentive. Love her.

I love this restaurant. It is truly a diamond in the rough! The place is very small, the staff is very friendly(although they speak very little English), the food is amazing. I suggest the chicken tacos. Enjoy.

My new favorite centroamerican restaurant! I ordered fried chicken with tajadas it was really good. One complain that i have is the fact they didnt have tamales de elote but i got the gucamole instead and i forgot about the tamale. Another thing is the horchata i ordered it was horrible! They should really work on that. It also a little to long to pay. But it seems like many people like it there because it got crowded really quick. Overall a good experience.

Coming from a Honduran family, I was very excited when my cousin told me about this restaurant. I went with my boyfriend and ordered a few different plates to try. We had a tamale with pork, pupusas with cheese and chicharon, Mexican style tacos with carnitas and chicken… all very good! Main course he ordered the pollo con tajadas after seeing the very appetizing picture of the plate on the menu. The tajadas, cabbage, and sauce were good but the chicken lacked a little in flavor. I ordered the enchiladas, Central American style. Sadly, I was disappointed… I found the ground meat too salty and fried tortilla already soggy by the time it arrived at our table. I also tried there tamarindo margarita which was great! Four stars because the majority of our meal was really good, the waitress were nice, and the service was fast. We were in and out under an hour. I’m looking forward to returning and trying more on the menu.

Today I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food at this local spot. I was not thrilled the first time I ate there but they have improved 100%! I’m Salvadoran and had Pupusas, Cocktel de Camarones & drank Tamarindo, Everything was a delight to the palate!
