For Thyroglossal Duct Cyst Surgery 3 visits in the last 3 weeks. My first was for a CT scan with contrast for my neck. Ominous machine but the two people that did the scan were very nice. My next visit was for a pre-op physical(I had a cyst on my throat). The admissions receptionist was very nice, I took a seat and the next person, Sam, for Samantha did my entry information. She was very nice, pretty too with curly hair. Then up to the physical portion. I was given a hospital room, had several people take care of me and I was done. Surgery was this morning, same admissions lady but a different person did my entry info, very nice, friendly disposition. Samantha saw me and came over to see me and just be nice. All the info is rechecked by me, then the supervisor and up to my room, 710. The place takes«hospital clean» to a new level of clean, spotless everywhere. I spoke with the nurse, the anesthesiologist, dietician and then off to the fifth floor for surgery. While I waited a there they brought me a heated blanket to make sure I was comfortable. A HEATEDBLANKET! I felt like i was in first class. Then off to operating room 4. There were 7 people buzzing around getting me set, nice music was playing. My doctor, Dr. Stimpson Schantz spoke to me, put at ease and I felt comfortable with the whole process. I woke up in the recovery room and when I said I was ready they moved me back to my room, 710. Several people came to check on me and then I was discharged to my ride home. Everybody that I came in contact was very nice, I wish I could recall all their names but there were so many. So my doctor, Dr. Schantz for obvious reasons and Samantha, because of her name stick. This was a great hospital visit and surgery. I don’t want to go back anytime soon unless it was to say hi to everybody, but if I need a hospital I would love to go back to this one.
