Say What? NYC Comedy Improv

I can’t gush enough about this wonderful and eclectic group of knee slapping, gut– busting entertainment! It’s really a great time. I especially enjoy the audience participation element to the games — You can even volunteer to be an inanimate object and join in on the hilarity! From the name games to Scenes from a Hat, you will be so appreciative of the way this group thinks on the drop of a dime and thank yourself for the ride!

Second Saturday of each month

The show is a series of 2 – 10 minute improv segments and very much like «Whose Line is It Anyway?» (for those that have seen the show).
Love how interactive it is; for the game «scenes from a hat» for example, audience members are asked to write down scenes they would like to see and they are picked randomly. Ex. «meetup groups you wouldn’t want to see you parents in» and «awkward college graduation speakers» — (oh yeah.)
Chill and really personal environment. The There was this woman who snorted every time she laughed/​just snorted. Apparently she was really enjoying the show. But that’s the power of laughter, man. Bringing the world together one snort after another.
Great group of performers (they rotate every show but they’re all probably good). Hope you enjoy :)

I had an amazing time at Say What? NYC! Each of the performers brought their own unique talents to the table and, unlike some other shows I’ve attended, if you don’t want to participate, they don’t force you to (which is fantastic for me because I often get stage fright)! They were incredibly appreciative of any and all suggestions, and I didn’t stop laughing the entire night. I highly recommend them!
