Good coffee if you like proper, Melbourne coffee. Courtyard area out back is a nice little chill spot although you have to keep it down as there is residential buildings surrounding the courtyard. Not a problem for us though as we just wanted to sit and enjoy our coffees/read.

Cool vibe and coffee lover dream but I’m into tea and thus was disappointed. The sitting space is fun and outdoors but the indoor clothing options are a tad odd. The whole aura gels but nonlinear-like. Must be the waves…

Saturdays is a higher-end(for a surf brand) clothing company. They have great-fitting basics with a nice color palette. Seasonal sales are around the end of winter and summer(Jan/Feb and Aug/Sep). Nice hidden place to enjoy coffee in the backyard patio — can get crowded on the weekends. Service is interesting — Answers can be short but staff is generally well-meaning. On the odd day you can score some free stickers and tote bags. Be warned this isn’t your typical surf shop, the experience is more Supreme than Billabong — and priced accordingly.

Didn’t pay much to the environment but it did have a chill vibe to it. I got a soy latt and I found it to be quite bitter and gross tasting after a while and wound up throwing more than half of my cup down the drain. It costed almost 5 bucks for such a small drink which did not taste palatable either.

They have great espresso and a charming backyard. It’s perfect for an afternoon chill with a couple of friends. You can also smoke in the backyard which for me is a plus. I didn’t look around the shop but it looked pretty great from a quick glance. Definitely one of my favorite spots

A crazy little spot. Very surfer eclectic. Friendly people though, and excellent espresso.

Forget speakeasy bars, what people really want to feel smug about is their ability to hunt down hidden coffee spots. Saturdays is painfully cool. You’ll line up waiting for your iced coffee with people who look half your age, double your cool-ness and four times your attractiveness. But once your coffee is made, and you slink on out to the gorgeous courtyard, their awesomeness will have rubbed off on you and you’ll fit right on in.

I’ve been to this place a few times and am very familiar with the brand. They have great looking clothes, and there’s no doubt their concept is unique. The service at this place is some of the worst though. The employees are here to hang out. I literally had to beg one guy behind the register to check out. He was too busy picking music to really care about making a sale. Won’t be going back, there’s too many options in this city to put up with that.

2 stars for the coffee. 0 stars for the shop. This place is a joke. I was looking at gear and couldn’t get a straight answer from one of the shop guys there, and he finally admitted to me that he actually doesn’t surf, just likes working retail in soho… Not cool for the amount of money you’d have to drop here in the 1st place. I was disappointed. there’s a good shop in dumbo– i cant remember what it’s called but it is where I take any of my business now. knowledgeable staff and good prices. Update: I went back here recently, as i ws in need of an item id heard they had, also thinking maybe i was too hard on these guys and had pretty much the same experience. the guy working the register, was wasting my time looking at one of his buddies iphone videos instead of helping me, was a complete jerk, acted like I was wasting his time in order to pay for my items. These guys suck. that’s just all.

Great gear and coffee at Saturdays on Crosby. Great guys as well. Before a big winter swell they helped me locate a pair of booties after I lost mine the previous month. Recently, Logan helped me out big time getting a ding in my board repaired through a local shaper. I once scored a free wax comb from Josh, this all happened on Crosby Street in NYC which is totally rad. Highly recommend supporting these guys.

To the hipster DB that overextracted my husbands soy latte last Friday afternoon: You’re not cool, you keep the coffee area as dirty as a pigstye and by not being professional and courteous, you have lost 2 very loyal customers. I wish you very bitter coffee in your future. Used to love this place but if they only hire blasé young jerks to make the coffee, we’ll take our business elsewhere.

I can’t wait for a scuba shop to open up on Crosby. Love this place. Good coffee. Clothes. And most importantly… a big ass garden in the back with seating to enjoy said coffee and surf the internet via the free wifi. What more do you need.

I love the brand and usually shop at the one in West Village but decided to check out the Soho store. Needless to say it was disappointing. A lot of sizes were not on the racks so I had to ask an employee for help. You would have thought I was pulling the guys teeth with the way he reacted. $ 300.00 dollars later, the most attention I received the entire time was when two employees worked together to stuff my clothes into the smallest bag available. After the bag ripped down the entire side, the employee handed it to me and said«it should be fine». I’ll take my business to the West Village store.

The coffee was really good but the weird thing about this place is that they do not have a menu. I had to awkwardly ask for a regular cup of coffee in a cup. & then i saw the person in front of me getting a latte(i think) with a really cute design of a leaf and I felt lame for just getting a coffee): overall the place looks really interesting and hopefully their drinks are good. They look like they are. I just wished they had a menu.

I’ve been here several times and at first wasn’t too impressed. It seemed like a hipster coffee joint that carried expensive unusable surfboards, sold good coffee, and had a surprisingly good collection of surf magazines and videos. Then I started talking to the staff and that’s when I realized there’s more depth to Saturdays. I had just gone to Paragon sports looking for a surf hood and gloves(small stock) when I decided to give Saturdays a try. They were almost closed when I asked about the gloves and hood. They kept the store open another few minutes while they went to their back storage to the stuff. They had the exact sizes I was looking for. This place has a stock room with supplies not on display in the showroom. Just start talking to the staff and you’ll find so much more to Saturdays.

If this place was only for coffee/hanging out, 4 stars easily. Great physical space, airy and open, with the courtyard and stuff. Coffee is comparable to Starbucks(minus the hordes of tourists in the ones in this area). Service, not so much, but that’s a topic for later. The clothing part of the shop, however, needs lots of work. It’s disorganized. Most of the things I looked at didn’t even have prices on them. The sales staff is beyond rude(including the baristas): they talk to their friends constantly, not really caring about the store or the customers. They let friends cut in line, etc. The coffee shop also presents a problem: who likes to browse and shop in a frenzied coffee shop? There’s also a string of arrogance with the«surf shop» idea, and here’s what’s wrong with that: it’s not a surf shop. Everyone working there is way too self conscious for this to ever be a surf shop, along with just plain old rude. The retail/coffee/beergarden idea is certainly novel, and not really seen anywhere else, but there’s a reason for that: it doesn’t work.

What’s here: La Colombe coffee, a tempting assortment of Mast Brothers chocolate bars, surfboards, chillness, and a small back patio. What’s not: seating, crowds, extraneous syrups, or anything to distract the serious coffee drinker. Hard to believe that this little gem is tucked around the corner from Broadway and on a Friday afternoon was as pleasantly quiet as a chapel, but miracles happen.
