I’ve been to so many different laser places but never saw results .
this place is really a life saver the hair on my face is finally going away after 3 treatments The people there are so nice & helpful I can’t wait to continue my treatments here.

Revising review–
Just had my first underarm treatment here and my technician, Akiko was informative, seemed very knowledgeable, and nice. Made me feel at ease. Never had any laser treatment before this, so it was important that my technician tell me what to expect during the procedure (which Akiko did!)
Their iPad check-​in system wasn’t really working, so the receptionist gave me some forms to fill out since I am a new client. They also didn’t have me down for an appointment despite booking just 2 days ago! But it was fine because they were available to treat me anyway (yay!)
Was in and out pretty quickly. Pretty much painless for the most part– should’ve done this sooner! Place was pristine, bathroom is nice and big, and the environment was soothing in a spa like way.
Will update review with more stars after I complete all my sessions and see what the results look like. If it turns out well, I’m totally going for the leg package (razors & shaving cream are overpriced)! So far, so good though!
— Updating review in regards to the mysterious «service charge» for groupon users after the first session:
Got in touch with Akiko & another lady, who clarified that the $ 8 «service charge» was the tax for the 6 session package since Groupon does not charge tax.

They got in touch with me almost immediately and rectified any issues I had and offered me an additional session. I’m pleasantly surprised by their attentiveness and willingness to make things right. Amazing… very nice people.

The people are all so nice here, especially the receptionists. The sessions are literally 5 minutes or less (for underarms at least). The process is not very painful at all. It feels like a rubber band snapping at you, and they put aloe on after if you want.
The place looks very clean and modern, and I think they even have free coffee while you wait (I haven’t tried myself because I don’t like coffee).
Coming here is out of my way, but the service makes it worth it.

After trying every hair removal method for my stubborn neck hair I was reluctant to try Satori Laser. I decided to give this place a try and it was the best decision I made I think EVER! I had a consultation with Allison who was confident and knowledgeable about the procedure. I tried a session just to test it out, I never picked up a razor again and I would have to shave my beard everyday religiously. Four sessions (4 months) later I’m 95% hair free on my neck which is one of if the hardest areas to treat because it’s hormonal. I am very happy and excited I feel like I was let out of stubbly neck prison after 20 years. I would recommend Satori laser and Allison to anyone who is battling this annoying and embarrassing problem. Did I mention Satori Laser has the best prices in town? Thank you Allison, and Satori Laser.

After purchasing and completing an initial package of 6 sessions, I bought 6 more for another area at the front desk before leaving. The sales associate quoted me a price and told me she was giving me a deal — since I’d already been going there for 6 sessions, I assumed she was being honest. I paid upfront for the next 6 sessions only to find that I was paying $ 40+ additional per session than their standard rate from the website.
When I brought it to their attention at the end of my six sessions, the secretary confirmed I’d been overcharged and she would contact a manager and get back to me. Within one business day, a manger got back to me and offered me her deepest apologies as well as a service credit or a full refund for what I was owed. She also let me know that the employee responsible had been let go as a result of her infractions.
I am satisfied with managements swift resolution and commitment to retaining clients. I would consider returning to Satori Laser in the future.

Bought a groupon deal for 6 underarm sessions. Just finished my last treatment today and the results are amazing! Will be back for laser hair removal for other parts of the body!

So far all positive experiences, though some sessions are more thorough than others. Clean environment and I am happy to have stumbled upon them. I have see great results in my less hormonal areas and decent results in tougher regions. It’s a pricey endeavor, but I will continue do my best to make my body less and less furry.

Great experience! I’ve been 5 times and definitely seeing good results. The price is fair for the quality (they use Candela laser). Take advantage of the discounts around holidays. Staff is very friendly, professional and the appointment is very efficient.

I bought a groupon for 6 sessions to do underarms and I already did 3 sessions and I haven’t shaved my underarms in a month already. Today I made an appointment to start doing Brazilian which wasn’t bad at all. The pain is VERY bearable for Brazilian. The session lasted 15 minutes, not even. It was way more satisfying than waxing and shaving. The workers there are very knowledgable and want you to be as comfortable as possible there. The facility itself is very clean as well. They serve, coffee, tea, water, snacks, and cappuccinos. The place is pricey so look into groupons or the packages that they offer. I’m very happy to have found this place. I love it and will eventually do legs once I’m done with my underarms and Brazilian. Can’t wait for summer to start and be all hairless and smooth. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Even though summer is slipping away, I want to keep my body beach ready all season long. After couple hair laser experiences at Satori I am pretty satisfied about their effect, price and service. I’m back today for 2^nd bikini area treatment, it is a good time to do laser when weather cools down.
Nowadays a lot of education told us that shaving would cause ingrown hair around Bikini area, that would be the last thing a girl wants. Repeating Waxing is pricy and painful, so why not solve this problem permanently. After first treatment I already see good result, hair is lesser and softer.
And the home use laser hair removal machine is not working on bikini area! I tried it and it hurts like hell, so go to professionals especially dealing with dedicated areas.
I tried bikini laser hair removal at another place in NYC, and I was almost burst into tears due to the pain, so I did a lot researches, then I found out about Satori, they use better machine which helps cool down the treated area when treating, that’s why it reduced pain greatly. Plus they work with the top model agencies in NYC, their service is model endorsed.
Technician is very friendly and professional. She kept checking on me about my feeling, and the pain is much much less than the other place, I can manage it with no problems. I’m very happy about the services, and to fully remove hair at bikini requires 6 treatment averagely, technician told me I can shave between treatments,
It only gonna take a few months to get over this problem forever ! Can’t wait for some jacuzzi in the winter time !

Spotless place, everything very well explained. And very happy with the results. In particular I really appreciate the honest advise from staff, they ever pushed me to do a laser session if my skin was not ready or too tanned. Also they always have promotion packages so take advantage !

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have changed my appointments countless times but they never complained or were rude to me. The technicians are very patient and they walk you through each process. They also provide you honest opinion about the services, never pushy.
I have tried other places for laser and the machine they had is not painful. Of course it’s not gonna be enjoyable but if you are used to waxing, you won’t have much of a problem.
Have been a loyal customer for a year now and will continue to be!

At first I was skeptical about this place as I was to many laser hair removal location in New York (especially ones advertised through Groupon). I was recommended to Satori through a friend, who swore by their customer service and treatments. So, I gave this place a try.
The place was tidy and neat. The staffs were friendly and very informative. Unlike other places that tries to sell you many packages and treatments, Satori really strives to provide the best service for their customers. I was given a free consultation on what areas I would like to be treated, what are the DOs and DONTs, and my technician (Angela) was very professional. She asked a few questions to make sure I haven’t done any short of waxing, sun exposure, allergy, taking medication… etc to interfere with the treatment as well as my safety.
I decided to get my underarm treated first to see how it goes. I was a bit anxious and awkward, but Angela was really nice about it. She explained to me it will hurt a bit when the laser passes through the skin, but it should only felt like someone flick you with their finger. Which was exactly how it felt like.
Fast forward, I am heading onto my 3^rd treatment. I followed all the steps Angela advised, and have seen amazing results! After my 1^st treatment (about 3 weeks afterwards) my armpit hair began to fall off! The hair reduction rate is crazy! I barely touched my razor, other than using it to clear the stubs. After my 2^nd treatment, I have no touch my razor AT ALL! The stubs (or pores… w.e. u call them) were barely visible! I am so excited to see how it will go after my 3^rd treatment.
My next target will be the upper lip and my legs! Not to mention this place offer free coffee and refreshments for their guests in the waiting room.

I’ve been going here for almost two years now with great results. The experience is as pleasant as they can make it. The interiors are soothing and spa-​like and, most importantly, clean. I’ve never seen anything remotely out of place. No stray hairs anywhere.
They are very flexible and open with appointments. I’ve never had trouble getting a reasonable time after work or rescheduling when something comes up.
I’ve found the treatments to be very effective and ended up adding on an extra area or two. Some took more than 6 treatments for sure to be 100% gone, but after a few treatments, you can pretty much stop shaving.
As for the actual process… the pain is bearable. It’s just for that moment. The technicians are all great (my favorite is Nikki!), kind, and professional even though it must be such an awkward job. They will take as many breaks as you need and will often press down right after the laser which helps a lot. It’s a little red afterwards, but goes away quickly. I’ve never had to take an Advil or anything like that. They are also honest and will tell you to wait longer to come back to not «waste» a session when it’s getting towards the end.
I haven’t tried using a Groupon or tried to price compare much to anywhere else, so not sure about value, but in this, I was mostly concerned with getting the best results rather than price.
