Sara Japanese Pottery is where I go to find artisan crafted, one-​of-​a-​kind/​unique presents for my most discerning friends. They offer an eclectic collection of high quality ceramics, glassware, lacquer, dinnerware– everything from vases to Japanese tea cups and lacquer pencil boxes. While a bit on the expensive side, their products are very high in quality. The shopkeepers are nice and honest people who will help you find something beautiful.
My favorite find so far has been the Mizusaki tumblers. They are the only store in the USA where I have been able to find them! I have gifted these tumblers to many people and they are always delighted!
If you’re around the area, it’s worth popping in– even if only to window shop. It is like walking into a modern day museum of a ceramic collector.
