Samantha Lennon

I just had an in-​home consultation with Samantha, and I wish I could have done so years ago.
I will be brief so as to avoid boring you with my gushing:
1. She taught me how to pluck and shape my eyebrows — I learned that when done correctly, this is pretty simple and painless, and I don’t need to drop so much $$$ on waxing, threading, etc. when this is something I can easily do myself.
2. She taught me how to apply makeup and what kind of products are best for me. This seemed like a mysterious and dark art — I learned that it is not — it’s really fun and far more simple than I imagined.
3. Her pricing is very reasonable — this was totally affordable for me.
4. Samantha obviously loves what she does, and was a pleasure to be around. When she left my apartment after the consultation was over my cat stared at the door making her bug-​eyed sad face — like «DUDE. WHERE DID SHE GO?»

Samantha did my makeup as well as my maid of honor’s makeup for my City Hall wedding on 3÷24÷2011. She is absolutely spectacular! We had never met, but we exchanged dozens of e-​mails and I sent her photos to give her an idea about my style and overall look. Her communication was superb and her passion evident through her writing.
Samantha arrived promptly at my house early in the morning as was negotiated, and she came 100% prepared with her suitcase full of her tools, kits and potions! She is amazingly clean and sanitary. I am a nurse and also have a lot of skin allergies and issues, but I vow wholeheartedly that Samantha uses the highest standards when applying makeup to others. My maid of honor was in total agreement with this as well.
The makeup for myself and my maid of honor turned out beautifully. Samantha applied individual lashes to me, instead of the single bands, and people kept remarking how awesome my eyes looked and how she did it! Our wedding pictures also look fantastic! All my blemishes were covered and the HD makeup she used worked wonders.
In addition to all of the above, Samantha is an amazing person to work with on a professional level. She has great energy, compassion and a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding makeup as well as skin care. She is someone that has turned what she loves into a career and this is the type of person you want to work with. Samantha genuinely wants women to feel beautiful inside and out, and she will work her hardest to make that happen for you.
I feel so fortunate I stumbled upon her Craiglist ad and booked Samantha. I will definitely be using her in the future for events and will recommend her to any of my friends or colleagues looking for a makeup artist. She truly is a gem!

I can’t say enough positive things about Sam. She takes her work so very seriously. I have used her for personal photos and for my wedding. I trust her with my makeup anytime, anywhere. She is my go-​to gal with any questions I may have, and I’d recommend her to anyone. She is knowledgeable, fun, and mature. Sam is the absolute best, end of story!
