I’ve been to a few salons near me. Didn’t quite feel fond of any. I came here for a pedicure. This is very convenient to me, Anna the nail technician was very friendly and gentle on my toes. I received a Sweet Retreat toning and firming treatment which smelled delicious and felt delightful. Would definitely come back.

I went here on my sister’s recommendation. The salon occupies a beautiful, roomy and calming space. The staff here is incredibly nice. I got a 90-minute massage from Cathy, who melted my stress away. I walked in stressed out from work, but walked out feeling light and calm.

The salon is in a beautiful large and airy space and they play glamorous music. There is a good choice of nail polish, including my favorite Chanel. I have had several manicures and pedicures and they have always been great. Try the ten minute shoulder massage!

It’s been 5 days and still not a single chip on my nails.(Regular manicure too, not gel). I am BEYOND impressed. It’s my new mani record. Wow. Definitely going back!

Worst experience I’ve had so far. I came in for a Mani-Pedi, the environment was really impressive, while the service was awful. Three fingers bled(ridiculous!). And it has been only a few days, my gel nails are falling off already. One star for the environment.

Best facial I have ever had. Cannot recommend coming here more. I have been to many expensive/nice places in the city and in other parts of the world including Europe. This was still the most excellent treatment I have ever had. The place is very nice and modern. They must have had fun designing it! And the people are exceedingly nice as well. This was such a treat and I am very thankful… I am glad I did it!

Was treated by a friend to a manicure and pedicure here at Salon M and it was by far one of the best mani/pedi experiences I’ve had. The space itself is open and airy, and smells amazing. There are no massage chairs while you’re getting your pedicure(though they do offer manual massages), HOWEVER… the chairs they do have are amazing. So comfortable, so plush, I felt like I was sitting on a cloud. I could have easily put my head back and fallen asleep right there. So relaxing. They have RGB and Chanel nail polish, and the lady who did my nails was wonderful. The thing I liked best about the experience was that it was so calm and quiet. I’m so used to going for mani/pedis and the place is loud and hectic, but being in Salon M felt a lot like being on a spa vacation. P. s. The place is VERY clean.

probably the best pedicure i’ve ever had. Kim took her time and spent a good 45 minutes on me! she was very thorough and made sure to clean the tools and equipment in front of me. the salon has a nice quiet atmosphere and space. it is a more expensive pedicure than i’m used to but i think it is worth it.

The service doesn’t warrant the lux atmosphere. Def this is no 10⁄10. Great nail salon with a fantastic atmosphere, there’s no where in the city that has such a spacious and beautiful setting. However! The service here was very poor. 1st time I was here, 2 technicians were fighting extremely loudly. It was very uncomfortable sitting and getting nails done while the fighting was occurring. 2nd time came in at 7:30p, they close at 8, one technician was v angry that i came in late(even tho it was 30 min before closing). I told them I’ll come back but she was like«fine we’ll do it». They do have Chanel, RGB, Essie. Not the most varied colors but enough. I would say give it a try, maybe your experience will be better. For now, I’ll stick to my usual spot and come here as a back up.

I just moved from Tribeca and was in need of a decent mani/pedi place around this desolate no-man’s land of Riverside Blvd. I passed by Salon M several times but wasn’t sure it was open as the entrance is a bit hidden(it’s closer to 62nd street). I decided to try this place and I feel like I’ve won the lottery! I found out they are sister salon to my favorite salon downtown(I-Plaza Nails). As with the original location, the place is beautiful. Minimalistic, yet invitingly warm décor with lots of space that’s pleasing to the eye and makes you feel like you’re at a spa. I just got my Salon Pedicure that includes a 15-minute massage, which was sorely needed for my tired calves due to pregnancy. It was heaven. Plus, I can always count on the quality of their services. The owners own several of these salons, all successful might I add, in Tribeca — they don’t kid around when it comes to quality and efficiency, which I respect. As for the price — come on. You get what you pay for. I’ve been to Fountainebleau, which is the closest comparable salon in the area that I can think of. They charge about the same, if not more for mani/pedi/massages. Their services are good, don’t get me wrong, but I would much rather spend the same amount of $$ where I feel like I’m getting pampered. Salon M looks and feels like a highend luxury spa where as Fountainebleau is like any other nail salon you see everywhere in the city. I never write reviews, but I need this place to stay in business for my sanity. Having a nail place that I don’t have to take a cab to is a god send to me — if you live in my hood, you feel my pain. Oh, the residents of Aldyn and Ashley get 10% off their bill because the salon is technically on the ground floor of their building.

It is a newly opened Pedi and massage place in my hood. We decided to try, Regular pedi costs 40 some bucks, it takes about 15 min and quick. Quality is average at best. I also tried body massage, the guy said 95 bucks for 60min. However, after it is done, he said it is $ 120. I paid anyway plus tip. Here is what the problem: the massage is really poorly done. Disorganized, and he is short of basic technique. He spend most of time on my back. I almost wants to ask him: is this it? On the bright side, the place is nicely decorated. Hardware is good, there is a lot to be desired on software. There are certainly a lot of people living in this area, what a waste for the nice space they have. We won’t go back again!
