Closed since late August. Too bad, they were a solid lunch choice if you ordered correctly(curries, soups, pan fried noodles). Lan Larb took over the space as of this week.

Food was OK. I liked the curry puff appetizer a lot. Everything else was good, though nothing stunning. Service was fine, nothing to write home about.

I have no reason to give this less than a 5. Came here for dinner, got the one of the tofu curries and it was really good and really cheap($ 9) — especially for dinner in Manhattan. There’s not really a whole lot of ambiance, the décor’s a bit sparse and it feels like its on a forgotten NYC street. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it if I didn’t look on Unilocal

cons: the food here has been adjusted to fit the American taste, so it is not as spicy and flavorful as real Thai food. pros: the food is actually very tasty. i think the adjustment actually works because real Thai food are generally too spicy for many people, so this attempt to bring a Thai cuisine to the America still works successfully. i came here late at night and sat at the table close to the cashier. the cook/the owner of the restaurant came out at the end of the night and greeted everyone. she was such a lovely woman.

To be honest, the food is fresh. My star rating is low Bc they stole from me. I allowed it, but no more. I ordered the mango shrimp salad with extra shrimp and they charged me for extra mango. $ 2. Now if I didn’t notice that they only gave me 4 shrimp and inquired about it. The receipt no doubt would have said extra shrimp. But I didn’t wait. I wanted honesty. I know $ 2 is no big deal. But it’s a big deal when mango does not rhyme with shrimp. Nor should I be charged for a mistake I didn’t make. I’m really disappointed. I try to patron yummy spaces that offer great service and quality food. I have lost all my respect for Saha Thai.

This place has sadly gone downhill. Now delivery routinely takes 45 minutes and today it took ANHOUR! Sidenote: I live literally one block away. I’m done with this place. For delivery Thai in this area I recommend Thai Angel or Thai Lemongrass

Came here on a Saturday night with my gal pal because we were excited to see a Thai restaurant in Little Italy! We both like spicy food and she has yet to try any Thai food. This place is decorated with earthy and gold tones, which makes it quite calm and dim. Half the seats were filled and the place was still filling up even after we had sat down. The service here isn’t the greatest, as I suspected it to be family owned, but there’s really nothing to complain about either. I immediately ordered the tom yum chicken soup, and me and my friend both enjoyed it. That was followed by a wonderful chicken satay appetizer glazed lightly with turmeric, and it came with a pickle sauce and a peanut sauce on the side. We wolfed down the appetizer so fast and actually wanted more of it. I really wanted my friend to try the Thai wings, a specialty boneless chicken wing dish stuffed with minced pork and vermicelli. I’ve ordered it before and I really liked it. However, when we ordered it this time, it was quite disappointing… The stuffing lacked flavor and the chicken was overcooked. It wasn’t our kind of appetizer, so we won’t be ordering it again. Our entrée on the other hand made up for it: the Thai basil gravy was wonderful and we didn’t leave a drop of it, since we poured it over our rice. It packed a flavorful punch, and it came with plenty of well cooked veggies and sliced white chicken meat. Overall a good experience!

If you want to eat Thai food in Chinatown/Little Italy so bad, this place is should be your last resort. Small, cozy place with nice décor but service is terrible. Not attentive to customers. Food is average, served with plastic cups for sauces. Nothing worthwhile except that it is affordable.

I give them two stars because the service is not great at all. I was there for lunch with a friend, and after 10 minutes i had to get out of my seat and track down our server. The front of the house was too busy with there phones. The food is good and i would go back there for that.

The food is passable, but lacking on flavor and generally disappointing. I had the crispy tofu and taro appetizer and squid basil fried rice as takeout. The fried items were unseasoned, and the dipping sauce too sweet and gloopy, generally reminiscent of duck sauce with a slight kick. I’d have preferred something saltier with herbs. The rice was also on the bland side, and missing the Thai basil flavor that makes this dish worth eating. While the squid was cooked well and plentiful, it lacked for vegetables, with only some onions and red bell peppers. They’ll have to try harder if they want more than the couple customers that were eating there when I picked up my food.

We finally gave up and called them to cancel and the woman hung up the phone on me! We will NEVER order from them again! Beware!

Extremely FASTDELIVERY. They are amazing. They must have some special bikes that they use cos every time we order and the food comes in, we’re all like«Oh that was fast» and we seriously say that every single time. I like the Saha Wings, Calamari and the Vegetable Dumplings for appetizers. I always order them. For the main course I like their Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, potato, peanut, red onion] Red Curry [my Favorite –bamboo shoots, green pea, bell pepper & basil], Panang Curry ]lime leaves, bell pepper & green pea] Pad Cee Eiw [flat noodle]. This is one of my favorite Take Out places in the city. I’ve eaten in fancy Thai restaurants around the area and I have to say that they have better food… Great job guys!

Officially the worst experience I’ve had in NYC this year, and at least within the last five years. I came here with friends, and after being seated for a few minutes I got up to wash my hands. As soon as I came back, the waitress had already taken their orders, and said she’d come back. She did, and I ordered the Rard Nah, she yelled it out to the guy at the counter in the back, but he was too busy playing on his iPhone. I assumed she then went into the kitchen to give the order. My friends get their meals. 15 minutes later I still don’t have mine, all the time the waitress doesn’t come over to ask how everything is, nothing. She’s doing a bunch of little side work and gabbing with her co-workers. I then tell her that I never got my food and she says she forgot. Everyone else had already finished their meals, so I told her to forget about it. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the restaurant was truly busy, but no one who came in after us who she was taking care of. Completely inexcusable and deplorable. If the woman cannot take a simple order and send it into the kitchen she shouldn’t work in a restaurant. Never again.

4 stars based on authentic, good, and affordable Thai food in the City. Don’t have to shelp all the way to Queens. Read Bongkot’s positive review on Saha. Bookmarked it. Wanted to see if they could pass the Authenticity Test, again. Panel of Judges: 1 Thai food enthusiast. 1 authentic Thai friend. Lunch Orders: Tom Sum(Papaya salad); Sticky rice; Green Curry with Vegetarian Duck; Pan fried flat noodels. Tom Sum: Pass. Pretty tasty. Used all green papaya(some places substitute or mix green papaya with green mango. Not the Same!). Green Papaya was well marinated. It absorbed the flavoring from the sauce and maintained it crunchy texture. Very important. Sticky Rice: Pass. Cannot really mess it up. Unless, I am the cook. *yikes* Green Curry with Vegetarian Duck: Pass. The fake duck did not look weird. Lots of veggies. Flavoring was authentic. Spicy. Creamy and Sweet from the coconut milk. Not overtly sweet. **Many Asian restaurants make their dishes super sweet to cater the general«non-foodie» public. I called it the«Dumb it Down» method. Pan Fried Flat noodles with Veggies and Tofu: Pass. Not super sweet or salty. The flat rice noodles are al dente — like. Generous portion. Lots of veggies and fried tofu. Pricing: Affordable. Meat Eaters and Vegetarians Friendly. Group friendly. Spacious seating area. Decore: Clean and Simple. Not the greatest. But, I am there for the food not for interior design. Will go back for dinner to try other dishes. Will report back. Cheers!

I thought this place was good, but a little bit watered down. Or, let me just say that the flavor was really light. Maybe authentic Thai food here isn’t popular because when they say spicy, they really mean not spicy at all. I’m not a huge fan of really spicy foods, but I do like a little kick. This place really had barely any spiciness. I definitely prefer the stuff from home.

3rd reviews in one night! OK. I had to give this review before I forget. Thanks to L. he always finds this cool/delicious/inexpensive spot for our regular Wednesday lunch. I loved this place. Clean Authentic Thai food Inexpensive –lunch menu everything less than $ 10. dinner menu — it depends what you get… but still pretty cheap! Taste was the big plus for me! and how clean they are! I asked for side hot sauces — the pepper sauce was 5 star plus. Glad that I found another great spot in the neighborhood. Thanks again L! ___update: be carefull on lunch menu duck choice: if you choose real duck, they charge you dinner price.

This place is great for lunch when down in Soho. I came here based on Unilocal reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. For the price, you can’t get much better food in Manhattan. It is actually reasonable and comes in a good sized portion. I had the Red Curry Chicken Lunch Special. For $ 6.95 it was an amazing deal… one dollar more and I had the Iced Coffee. It was a little too sweet for my taste… but for what it was, it was good. They make everything to order… which means that if you want something with less spice, it is possible. The food, despite being made to order) comes out very fast. The ambiance is comfortable and the service swift and thorough. This place is definitely worth a try for lunch… and I’m sure that they are just as good delivered as well.

Okay I got the duck noodle soup — pretty good, but the noodles when delivered wasn’t so great. I wish it was more spicy though! H got the Wing Special and was disappointed because it was such a small portion and didn’t look like the picture. H thought it was okay. I am curious about the other stuff here. The delivery guy seems cool and chill.
