I’ve been coming here since it was Lolita Bar and the space is so large that it never feels too crowded. One bathroom… not enough. But the ridiculously amazing tequila and rum selection make up for that, and the bartenders are a talented lot that know what they’re doing. I wouldn’t go there for cocktails. I would go there for good whatever it is you want to drink. On weeknights you’ll probably see the locals who have been coming here since the previous dive-ier incarnation.

Not my favorite beer selection in town but the bartender is super attentive and make sure that your drink is never empty. Made me a vodka gimlet and it was outstanding

I discovered this place because the Wandering Artist Movement used to use it as a starting point for gallery hopping, and they were cool with us all going in there in costume and being silly. They even let us do a show there! I also love how I can use this bar like it’s my living room since it’s only 2 blocks away from me. No need to clean up my apartment, I can just have people meet me there. They also gave me a free Krampus beer for hosting Satancon there. They have a high tolerance for costumed shenanigans.

Bad pours, but there was a nice amount of room and the shuffle board table looked like fun

Absolutely nothing wrong with this bar. As soon as we walked in the bartender raised his hand and said«welcome!» I LOVETHAT! There was also so much room to move around and sit, but this wasn’t because it was empty and creepy… Just a healthy sized crowd. I also wouldn’t consider it divey at all. It has such an open airy space, super clean, pretty modern looking… I’ve been to some SERIOUS divey bars and this place definitely does not fit my description of it. There are couches against every wall(so comfy), tables, and chairs everywhere so you probably won’t have the problem of awkwardly standing around. The DJ that was there was pretty good! Nice head bopping music. And… He played a song by The Ting Tings… After that I was hooked to the bar. Done. Over. They also have a shuffle board(as everyone else below me stated!) so that’s fun. Kind of gave it a Brooklyn feel to it? Maybe that’s why I’m a fan! Ladies… There is no mirror in the bathroom. Just saying… There’s a nail in the wall for it though! Maybe they needed to replace it :). So bring your own little mirror to touch up your makeup. This was an impulsive, last minute drop in for one beer kind of thing on a Saturday night… So I’m really pleased! Give it a shot :).

I loved this place but recent bartender changes(within the last year) have changed my opinion. Remarkably rude — no eye contact, no «hello», no «thank you».- nada! After three occasions experiencing this nonsense I’m done. Too bad — it was a really cool bar

Great bar we went to specifically to play shuffleboard. It was busy but not packed on a Saturday night. Decent beer and wine selection, good music, lots of space. It was a nice, non-douchy spot. Plus happy hour 7 days a week was a welcome surprise. Just a cool, easy place to get a drink from.

The bartender has the worst attitude; terrible customer service. Very unpleasant person! Will not be returning.

Dumpy, dive bar type of place with young messes and rude bartenders. But they do have belvedere vodka, no dress code and a decent amount of seating, so it could be worse.

After a boozy Sunday brunch, we wanted to keep the party going. We literally stumbled upon this divey place. The bar was literally empty and had a meh beer selection, but the shuffleboard table is what won me over. The bartender was very friendly and there’s $ 5 happy hour everyday til 7pm. There’s also a foosball coffee table in the back lounge area that’s on the verge of being completely broken but still fun. I’d like to come back when there’s actually other people there to play against.

I don’t know what’s not to love about this bar. There is a shuffle board that you can play for free, nice lounge area at the back, foosball coffee table, affordable drinks. I love the fact that this place weren’t crowded on a Friday night, and we have space to ourselves and were able to play a few rounds of shuffle board. I agree, Come by and play a few rounds of shuffle board!

This place is an interesting bar just not my scene. It did have a cool shuffle board game which made it entertaining though.

Somewhere in between divey, and hipster. The crowd was all mid twenties professionals on the Saturday night I went there. Drinks are a little pricy at 8 $ for anything from the well. They have shuffle board table which is kinda cool.

Came here a few times for a non-profit networking event and loved it. The prices are comparable to all the other Lower East Side divey to midlevel bars, which means it’s pretty affordable. Although I usually order wine, I see that beer is the drink of choice here, what with all the customers ordering their drafts. I especially enjoy their skeeball table.

Despite this bar being pretty spacious it manages to also feel intimate and cozy. There’s shuffleboard and couches in the back, the latter really adding to that cozy feeling. I do wish there was more than one bathroom, the line can get long. The music isn’t loud, it doesn’t get overwhelmingly crowded, bartenders are attentive but not overly friendly. It’s a good place to take a date, start your night, or just go somewhere chill when you want to hear your friends talk.

Yeah, dude. Simple, no-frills bar that won’t be jam-packed in the L.E.S. The free use of a full size table shuffleboard is a big plus. Really, this ought to be 4 stars, but with so many options in the direct vicinity, and only one single bathroom(unisex), I’ll give it the standard 3. That said, I’ll be back.

Really don’t get the hype from the previous reviewers. I mean its not a bar but its nothing to go crazy about. I got here around 11pm on a Thursday eve and it was dead. 1 person at the bar and bartender. Ordered an old fashioned which really wasn’t great and left before rigamortis set in.
