Overpriced, pre-packaged food that was microwaved. Dirty. Poor service. Won’t be going back here. My boss had to walk up to the bar to get our water glasses refilled bc no waiters were around.

$ 16 burger was made of cheap meat, tasteless frozen fries and not so fresh tomato. It was so bad I could not finish. Expensive place for such low quality. Service was nice, which gets them 2 stars, instead of one!

Loved everything about it, its really tough to get a good, affordable meal in the theater district and Roxy’s does a great job of it. We had the mac n cheese the caesar salad and a pastrami sandwich when our family was visiting from Argentina and they totally loved it. A great, family stop in the area. Check it out for sure.

The worst customer service ever. My group sat in the bar, ready to order & the owner kicks us out for taking too long to order. As tourists from Los Angeles, I expect better customer service than this. I will never come back nor do I recommend anyone here. Horrible service!

Was looking for a nice little diner for some fantastic breakfast! Thanks Roxy! The eggs, omelets, pancakes and especially the potatoes were amazing! The service was sweet! I definitely recommend stopping by here! I may just come back tomorrow!

Third time I’ve tried to go to Roxy’s and they’ve closed early. Is this Spokane or New York City? Forget it.

Just stopped in for a drink before the show at PlayStation Theatre and was quickly greeted by a server. I opted to sit at the bar and the bartender was equally as friendly. Since I just ordered a drink, I can’t comment on the food. I will say that the beer was Manhatten prices. But for a quickie, the place served its purpose.

My friend and I went into NYC today(April 16th) to see Something Rotten and wanted pre-show eats and a drink. No one could accommodate us because it was after 1pm. We sat at the counter and ordered the chicken quesadilla and the wedge salad to share. It was very good. I noticed all the bad reviews but we did not have a bad experience. I ordered a mimosa and my friend had a pinot grigio. It served its purpose for a quick app before the show. I do agree with others about the price. It is somewhat expensive.

This place is the only restaurant that serves breakfast all day in the theatre district which is how we ended up here. The place looked run down inside but I really wanted breakfast food so we stayed. I had a cinnamon bun which was clearly a prepackaged item that was refrigerated and put in the microwave to be warmed up. I was disappointed. My daughter had the cheddar and bacon omelette which was greasy and it seemed to be made with one egg. My son had eggs benedict. He usually eats everything on his plate and left half his breakfast untouched. If the food was cheap I would not have minded so much but it was very overpriced for the quality. There won’t be another visit in my future.

We stumbled into this place at around midnight after bar hopping. They have delicious pastries! We had the Oreo cheesecake. It was massive and delicious! I highly recommend trying it, but bring a friend so you can share.

It was cold. The kids where whining, so we came in to warm up and catch a late breakfast. What a huge mistake !! Food came in after more than 35 minutes. Burger(supposed to be medium) was completely burnt. The rest of the dishes — Caesar salad, hot pastrami, Mac and cheese — pretty abysmal. The price was 106 $ for a family of two adults and 3 kids. What a rip off … We should have checked Unilocal(and dress the kids better) Highly NOT recommended !!!

Food was amazing… Came for burgers, fries, Ruebens, BBQ chicken sandwiches, and everyone gave a thumbs up. Was around 11:30 am on a busy Saturday and we didn’t want to wait in the lines that seemed to be everywhere else in the neighborhood. We got a table for 7 quickly and were so glad we came here! It’s décor is meh, and furniture is dated, so maybe if that matters to you, go wait in a long line instead…

I seriously do not like rating restaurants 1 star because I know it can negatively affect the business, but sometimes it’s necessary to inform the public and prevent future customers from a poor experience. Perhaps my visit was at a bad time, but I can see there are other customers who corroborate with my review. The only reason we(family of 6 visiting from overseas) went here was because Shake Shack was overcrowded. First mistake– I did not check the Unilocal ratings because we were tight on time. —-If Mcdonalds is full and Roxy’s is the only restaurant open in the city, consider going to Mcdonalds or better yet, starve — - We sat down and were clueless on what to order so I checked Unilocal and discovered the negative reviews, and thought, ****. Second mistake– I did not want to be disrespectful so I stayed. —-Even if you sat down and somehow came across this review, do not order and leave — - Why? We ordered a classic burger, tuna sandwich, soup, pasta, and salad and all tasted microwaved expect for the salad. The hamburger meat was thick and dry as cat litter patty and the lettuce piece was white and soggy like cheese, the tuna sandwich tasted like it was picked up from Europa café, the soup tasted like Campbell’s soup, the pasta is comparable to frozen instant pasta, and the salad I would have to say was original and the only edible dish. Service was also very sluggish for an empty restaurant at 1:00 on Saturday and the gratitude is automatically added regardless of your thoughts. I felt terrible for taking my family visiting for overseas here.

Service was awful. My sister asked for change and the waitress said NO! We had to pay by card because of it, because we didn’t have exact change. The food was overpriced and gross. My mac and cheese tasted like wet noodles with a suggestion of cheese-like substance. Avoid.

DONOTGOHERE. I had been to Roxys for desserts in the past so I assumed it would be fine for lunch. Wrong. The service is terrible. Literally everyone acts like they don’t care about you. You never really know who your server is. My boyfriend and I had read the bad Unilocal reviews so to be safe we ordered an appetizer first, since we didn’t want to waste money on a meal if it wasn’t good. We ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip, that was described as a cheesy dip with spinach and artichokes, served with toasted pita bread. It was inedible. Basically soggy cooked spinach with maybe one artichoke cut up, sprinkles with Parmesan. No cheese base or creaminess at all. The pita bread was dry and honestly tasted old and wasn’t toasted at all. My boyfriend paid for his beer but we sent the dip back. Such a disappointment

I’ll be honest — this place was terrible. We were hungry and walked by so decided to stop despite the poor Unilocal score. The server was inattentive. The food was expensive(expected for Manhattan) but was not good. Two of us ordered the Cobb salad. It contained the worst of the worst iceberg lettuce, pink unripe tomatoes and the«avocado» was actually the world’s most disgusting guacamole. Skip this — for the price there are much better restaurants in the area.

Terrible! Don’t eat here. My husband ordered the meatloaf and I ordered a burger. Meatloaf– dry like it was reheated, tasted of pure bread crumbs, overpriced. Mashed potatoes– tasted artificial like it came from a box… Like eating dough. Overpriced. Gravy– tasteless Burger– the bun was obviously stale.. fell apart as you ate it. The burger was edible. Overpriced. Bottom line– eat somewhere else, even BK is a better option, and for less money. We paid money for food we could have made better at home.

And they say Times Square has been cleaned up! I guess they just meant moving out the sleezy porn shops. shame on me, as I opted for convenience vs confirmed food quality. And shocked to find an «A» health rating on the joint as it was dirty, floor to ceiling. Can I give the NYC Health Dept just 1 star too? We opted for minimal purchase just to get on with our lives. and who ever heard of a breakfast restaurant in NYC with a crappy bagel?! These guys aced it. I’m talking a round whitebread roll with a hole punched through it. butter packets served looked like they’d been melted, crushed and rechilled. grossed out just thinking about it. Get your act together Roxy Diner or give up that prime real estate to someone who will do NYC proud.

On our way to time square we decided to pop in here for a quick breakfast. We were kindly greeted and seated immediately upstairs. Our waitress was really friendly and took our drink order while we looked over the menus. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant sandwich which came with a side of potatoes. They were red skin potatoes sauteed with green peppers and onions. Although the potatoes had a nice flavor I found them to be a bit soggy. Had they been crispy or fried I think I would have enjoyed them a lot more. The ham and cheese croissant however was pretty good with ample filling. There were 6 layers of thick cut ham and 2 layers of cheddar cheese. The croissant was fresh and buttery with a nice flaky exterior. A very filling sandwich indeed. Our waitress was really attentive, although the restaurant wasn’t full, she refilled my water and tea without me having to ask and food came out quick.
