Went in to inquire and ask a few questions about a repair. I was directed their other jewelry store two blocks away. This place had a great atmosphere and the selection was amazing. Rolex watches as far as the eye can see. Staff here was very helpful and friendly, which is a super plus when shopping at expensive jewelers.

I bought a vintage Rolex Datejust watch a few months ago at a well known retailer and was told that I could go to the Rolex to adjust my strape band if need be. I went at 9am on 5th Ave store and waited in front of it and didn’t know the store opened at 10 since the listed opening at 9am at Unilocal… Anyway — 10am came around and I went in and was told that I had to go to the back of the store to go up to the 5th floor to get repair and was also being told that the customer service open at 9am and to take the side door on 53rd street next time. Was greeted by a uniformed very strict looking gentlemen at the concierge area(felt like I was in some old hotel) and took my info down, was told a customer service rep will be with me shortly. After about 15 min, a lady came out and called on me. I asked her to adjust my watch strap and while at it to see how the watch was working. She came back out about 10 minutes later with the strap fixed but was told the watch needed a lot of work since it’s vintage and it’s not in working condition at all and explained what parts needed to be fixed… I was told that I can just use it as a jewelry piece but to fix it will cost me a good amount of money which she was able to provide an estimate. I was mad at the original retailer who sold it to me even though it came with one year warranty but the warrantly they gave me is not a Rolex approved jeweler which means if they fixed it, Rolex will not be responsible for what they do to it and may not able to fix it later since it’s a Rolex policy which I can understand. Thought about it for about 10 minutes and decided to fix it and was told they will let me know later on when to expect it to return back to me. In about 2 days, received a phone call from Danielle who helped me with the watch and was told the original estimate cost went down about 20% to fix it and it’s because the work was less than what they thought which I was estatic and really excited to hear about it. I also received an email confirming the cost. In about 1 month, they called me that my watch was fixed and able to pick it up so I went this morning and was greeted by a very professional staff and all done in 15 minutes with time to re-adjust my watch again. All in all — very professional service and couldn’t be happier.

I went to get my watch resized and they were super nice. While I was waiting I started browsing they answered any questions I had. In addition they do not charge to get your watched resized unlike Tourneau.

The employees at the Rolex boutique(Wempe) I must say are a cut above other Rolex AD’s in the area. In the prior month I had picked up a GMT Master BLNR from T — — -(you know who they are) a few blocks away and I now regret not giving the business to Wempe. Anyway this past Sunday 7⁄26 my mind was made up to acquire an additional Rolex timepiece and after much deliberation had decided to walk into Wempe with full intent to make a purchase(pending salesperson experience). When viewing the case selection with the Milgauss, Margarita, had asked me if I needed help and did not hesitate to pull a few timepieces off for my viewing. We then sat down and she offered me a beverage of my choice. In all my experience with this boutique they always take the time to sit down with you and discuss the watch while NEVER feeling pressured. You get the same level of treatment and respect regardless of your buying timeline. Also of note I was wearing shorts, sneakers, and a shirt that could have been ironed lol and they had the same genuine smiles and courtesy as if I had been wearing a freshly pressed Tom Ford suit and Prada shoes… My experience with Margarita was the same and after a few minutes of chat I did indeed pull the trigger on my beautiful new Milgauss. You get what you pay for. You are buying a luxury timepiece so don’t try to save a few dollars by going somewhere else as it isn’t worth it in the long run. Do it right the first time and you won’t have regrets. I have been fortunate to acquire many Rolex timepieces over the past couple years and this store takes the cake. If you are in NYC it’s a no brainer to purchase your Rolex at Wempe(preferably the boutique). Outstanding customer service, you’re on 5th avenue the high end shopping center of Manhattan, and your warranty card is stamped at the same address as Rolex HQ.

Wonderful experience. Came in to purchase a watch for my husband for his birthday. Incredible service from the moment we walked through the door. The experience never felt pretentious or judgemental as it sometimes does at luxury stores. Brian Leece was a huge help in assisting my husband’s choice between the different Submariner models and colors. He answered all of our many questions, helped my husband try on several watches and ultimately guided us in making a purchase that we are very happy with. Brian even stayed after closing time to help us adjust the links just right. We are so happy with this experience and would definitely highly recommend anyone in the market for a Rolex to make the trip to this store.

I went here to try to get my gmt master ii serviced but the service center wasn’t open. The service manager(Brian Leece) asked me why I wanted to get it serviced and I told him that the bezel was just not moving at all. He explained to me that it’s recommended to only get a service when your watch is telling you(ie, losing minutes every few days, not working, etc) and that since my watch was still working just fine, he recommended just a quick cleaning. So I gave him my watch and ended up browsing the store for a while. After 10 minutes, he came back with my watch and cleaned up all the scratches on my bracelet, tightened the clasp/bracelet, and cleaned out the bezel that it’s working 10000x better now… all for free. Excellent customer service, gave him $ 20. Sales people were also very friendly. Atmosphere was very comfortable.

These guys and gals know their stuff, as they should! They were incredibly friendly and really made us feel at home while we shopped. I’ve bought numerous watches before, and I was really impressed with the experience we had at the store. Unfortunately no purchase was made.
