Where the hell are all these 5 Star ratings coming from? I never review anything but I created an account specifically to warn people about this horrible, horrible doctor. He only cares about his copay and talks AT you. There’s no real conversation. Just him telling you some garbage you know isn’t true because he NEVER asks you anything. Prescribes the wrong meds and more than likely prescribes the same meds for everyone. My pdoc now is AMAZING! We actually have a conversation and the meds that she prescribed has worked like a charm. I’m hard to treat. I’m bipolar 1 and cycle rapidly. In addition to that I have ADHD. Dr. Roda(is really a doctor?!) didn’t care enough to dig deeper. He threw Lithium at me and it turned me into a zombie. I had told him that that was something I feared. He didn’t give a shit. Didn’t try a new approach or anything. He also doesn’t use email or try to communicate with you outside of your session. He doesn’t call in prescriptions either. Instead, he gives you a written script and you have to walk it in. I could go on. Terrible doctor. Do yourself a favor and find someone good. Someone who actually wants to help you when you are at your most vulnerable.

A friend recommended Dr. Roda. I’m glad she did. I have found him to be thoughtful, compassionate, and responsive to my needs. I would absolutely recommend him to others.

I’m quite surprised at the negative reviews of Dr. Roda. I find him to be a kind, compassionate doctor who I would recommend wholeheartedly.

I wish I had read these reviews before going to see him. I just left there an hour ago almost in tears. It was my first visit and in less than 20mins he says«this is how I see you…» And then lunges into how he thinks I’m only there to get a Xanax perscrip from him. He was so off base I was stunned. I’ve been suffering from panic attacks and was open to any help he was willing to give me. I told him one side effect I needed to avoid and he decided immediately that I had an alternative agenda. I told him this would Not work and how wrong he was. Once I pointed out that he never bothered to even ask me what was triggering my anxiety, he waved my copay. Most likely because he knew he messed up and my hand was shaking as I tried to write a check. He is one of the worst. Too bad. I was looking forward to some real help.

I suspect that this doctor trolls the review sites and gives himself a high score so as to influence his overall rating. Reason being he is the worst psychiatrist I have ever encountered. He offers no guidance whatsoever and cares only about how he will get paid. His first question has always been, «did you bring me the co-payment?» I have had to actually provide him information on the medications I thought I should be taking as well as what dosage to write on the prescription itself. And you can forget about seeking his help during an emergency as I have. He was uncaring and even sounded quite irritated that I had called him. So spare yourself the aggravation and seek another doctor!

Awesome Doctor. Super smart, very understanding and down to earth. If you have mental issues, depression, voices in your head, etc. You know the usual. Dr. Roda maybe able to help you! Never have had to wait more than a minute or two. He always is punctual and his office is very conveniently located right off 58thST. The best part of going to Dr. Roda is that he has night appointments and can accommodate all of us working stiffs. I also try to take a few pieces of candy every time I go here. This guy spares no expense. I’m definitely a fan. Forget all those other doctors that can never give you a convenient appointment time. Dr. Roda would get five stars if he could prescribe be Cialis. However Four seems fair.
