Sweet new venue. I thought the music was great. & «different» when compared to other venues. but my friend told me it was because I was drunk. Whatever. Works for me. The drinks are STRONG, but super expensive.

Girl, You better work! I attended the Official Rupaul’s Drag Race Launch Party at Rockit last night and I totally had a blast.
Fornabbio Voss Events brought Ongina, Jujubee, Sahara, Phoenix, Bebe, Manila and Jessica Wild for a fierce competition.
My cousin and I met up with friends to see the show and we certainly had a fabulous time.
They play good dance music here, but it was deafeningly loud!
Jeez Louise! In order for my cousin and I to have a conversation, we had to text each other. I wish they’d put a quiet lounge here where people can have an actual conversation. Perhaps a second interior illusion lounge?
The place was super crowded and swarming with fag hags and pretty boys. Bartenders were definitely hunky and the dancers were beefy.
Not a good place if you are claustrophobic. It was hard to breathe in there since it was so crowded. However I was determined to get my pictures taken with the fierce divas of Rupaul’s Drag Race, so I sharpened my claws and clawed my way to the front.
It was worth it ’cause I scored some beautiful pictures. Jujubee, Ongina, Phoenix, Jessica Wild and the rest of the drag queens were super sweet and super nice. I love them. Visiting from Cali & wanted to take my girl cousins to Rockit @ Quo to see a special guest performance by Lil’ Kim… Well we just got kicked out at the door… reasoning «too many girls. I can’t do this»
WTF! I understand that you want to have a certain crowd inside but it’s still wrong when there are a ton of girls behind us. Does it have to do with us being ASIAN???
Could’ve mentioned it 30 minutes ago when we were waiting in the cold and you were scanning the line. You know what, I could’ve made a huge scene but I’m classier than that. FV Events has left a bad taste in my mouth. Never again.

Cool venue, decent music and crowd. Too bad there’s a cover now but it is more of a proper club whereas the previous venue was not. Good Friday night pick if you want to dance.
