Robert Vogel, DDS

I was surprised to see J.O.‘s review, as it was the exact opposite of my experience with Dr. Vogel and his staff. I went to Dr. Vogel after a routine replacement of a filling from my previous dentist resulted in chronic pain. Even though my previous dentist (I had been his patient for over a decade) refused to share my records. for a 2^nd opinion, Dr. Vogel approached my situation conservatively and with sensitivity. He fixed the botched job and effectively addressed several other dental issues I’d been having that my previous dentist had created. (The previous dentist had insisted on continuing to use amalgam – *after* I was already in the chair, and contrary to previous plans.) I have had many fewer dental issues now that I have been going to Dr. Vogel for 2 years. He is routinely responsive to the patient’s sensations and experiences. If a friend of mine was having ongoing dental issues, I would absolutely send them to Dr. Vogel.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this dentist. I went to a second dentist who fixed the botch job (sadly I had to pay twice for the same crown). Also, he doesn’t seem at all genuine or caring. I do not recommend Dr Vogel.
