This is a great local store with kind and helpful employees and a good amount of quality stock, for its size.

The staff are really friendly and very helpful (I’ve never found that the staff don’t speak English as the other reviewer said). They have tons of stuff — the obvious hardware to a decent selection of basic housewares — and the staff will help you find it. If they don’t have it, the staff try to point you in the right direction. This is my go-​to hardware store in the neighborhood.

The staff here are predominantly Hispanic, and most of them predominantly speak in their native tongue. There tends to be one guy around that speaks fluent English, and he’s super knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone here is really friendly though.
The place is small, but they pack a lot of stuff in here. Everything is very reasonably priced, especially for the area. They have paint, and mix it there as well.
They make keys for like $ 2. They let me use their drill for no charge (in store) to put a couple holes in a board. It’s definitely my go to hardware store in the LES.
