I am very picky when it comes to my hair and who I’ll let in it. That being said I’ve never had a more pleasant and rewarding experience in a hair salon. I’m a naturalista with a for that tends to be stubborn as all hell and from my first visit (when I was freaking out about what to do with it short of cutting it off) to now Richard has been a godsend! He has taken my mane from wild to tame and taught me a few tricks as well. I’ve also taken my daughter to him and he has worked a miracle with her. The assistants are awesome as well! Def will recommend to anyone!

My review pertains to ladies with natural hair (no chemicals) who use heat.
Richard did a fantastic job w/what I walked in there with. I have a lot of dense, curly hair and I had not done much with it while growing it out for over a year, except braids. So when it needed to be shaped, it needed the whole 9 yards. Richard worked to blow dry it out (this was no easy task) and flatiron a head that wasn’t really having that — but he made it happen by going over the areas that needed it. The cut is great and very manageable — it lays right and looks sharp.
I’m looking forward to more hair growth and care while working with Richard.
