An’Jels Salon

First time a the salon yesterday. I have to say I was impressed by the over all service and super friendly environment. I had a TON of hair chopped off that was well over due and a beautiful style and color. Courtney is not only super sweet but does great work! I am so glad she is easily available now and I can keep my hair looking amazing.

Although I regularly frequent this salon and always have a great experience, I would like to post part of an experience of a friend below from her blog. This is because some people messaged me asking about my real experience going to this salon and maybe even seemed skeptical that I could be a paid/​bribed reviewer of some sort. This way I don’t seem like a biased customer (which I am) and you have the point of view from a fourth (?) party.
After almost 3 – 4 years of harrassment, I finally convinced my close friend to see my stylist who is very knowledgeable and more than efficient at her craft. Below is the result from a first time customer who normally gets very anxious when it comes to trying a new hair salon:
«…I don’t know (anything) about doing my hair without professional assistance, and I really wanted to get it back on a healthy/​strong track. Thanks to my wonderful group of friends, and their helpful recommendations, I have been able to find someone to help me! And I was comfortable, and Jaime (the stylist) was super nice.
I am insanely happy with the results of Jaime’s machinations. She has definitely acquired a brand new regular customer.
I would also like to thank Jamie’s assistant (Sheniya — sorry if I’m misspelling), who was also there to help explain what was going on with my new hair régime, and describe the process Jamie was going to use. Everyone made me really comfortable, and was nice. I really enjoyed my experience. And you know I really like a place, if I don’t even care how much it was. I think it was worth the cost, and will continue to pay for exceptional service and hopefully wonderful results.»
So there you have it. You have not only my review, but the review of a newbie who had a lot of anxiety about trying a new place. Hope this helps those with any reservations!

Came all the way from Brooklyn to see Jackie! and she was reallllllly good! my hair is very thick and all products that she used in my hair was great! the salon its self is beautiful and the people that work there is also very nice! Jackie was very helpful during the consultation and she made me want to come back! i wish i can give her more stars but they only allow 5. I would recommend any one to come and see Jackie if you want a stylist that is down to earth and also cool!
P.S Service time was fast and the price are reasonable!

I have been with Charlene for years and I love this new location. Everyone is so friendly and the salon is clean and beautiful! Charlene is respectful of your time and has you in and out while still maintaining the quality and experience. Highly recommend!

The ladies at An’jels are super sweet and professional. Prices are quite reasonable compared to other salons in the area. Mimi is my stylist and I highly recommend her. She usually has me in and out in an hour and a half. Anyone that has ever been to an African American salon knows that you could easily be in the salon all day and you should pack a lunch, bring or book, or just plain don’t make any definite plans. No need to do that at An’jels.
