I have only ordered delivery from this place, but I have never had a bad experience. I particularly like that they have Ma-Po Tofu — one of the only places in the EV on seamless that does. It’s also pretty decent. The best part is that they are incredibly quick! Perfect for when you have a late night craving. Just tonight, I placed an order at 10:03 and it was at my door at 10:17 — they are at 14th St and I am on 3rd St. Very impressive!

Now I can only speak for delivery… but the fried rice(s)(we tried both the shrimp and chicken) — which are usually fairly standard dished — were really not that good. Rice and shrimp were both overcooked, and the taste/color were very bland. Prices are very good, but for a simple dish like that, it was still very disappointing

I got the veggie fries rice and husband got black bean chicken. Mine needed more salt, but I appreciated that I could add more rather than it being overly salty. Husband loved his! We ordered off of seamless and delivery was super fast. Great!

Would normally have given a restaurant of this caliber a 3 star rating but their swift delivery, bargain prices and unbelievable consistency in food quality however decent(very few restaurants in NY are capable of this) warrant an extra star. However, I think they may be under new management because I have been starting to notice slight changes in food preparations and ingredients. Also, for some reason, they now seem to disappear from seamless for extended periods of time.

An awkward attempt to graft a Mongolian barbecue onto a grungy Chinese takeout place, Riceton proves that when it comes to American Chinese food, things really should be kept behind the curtain. The counter at Riceton is made of glass, and shows a long list of ingredients, ranging from wilted lettuce to browning shrimp. These are the makings of freshly-made rice and noodle dishes, but having to pick them out one by one isn’t terribly appetizing. The inside of the restaurant painfully dated, with low, fluorescent lighting and countertops that seem to predate the place by one or two incarnations. The fried noodles, once prepared, have a greasy, straight off the wok taste that can fill a certain craving, but I doubt that sober diners will be impressed. Everything about this place screams that it would be a better takeout experience, but this food is only passable hot. For standard Chinese fare, Red House two doors down is significantly better. For noodle dishes, go to Republic.

I usually do not go out of my way to give bad reviews, but I have to for this one. I picked up instead of delivery, and let me tell you, the place is not very nice, and the veggies are just sitting in the front. The Garlic Chicken was decent, but I couldn’t eat some of the veggies, because I had seen where they were sitting and it was not appetizing… My friend ordered the Pad Thai, and we literally just did not eat it. I hear the General Tsao chicken is good, but didn’t try it. Sorry but I have to give 1 star

3.5 Stars. Ordered Sesame chicken which was very fresh and had a lot of flavor. It was also not overcooked, but the portion was smaller than other Chinese food places. It came with white rice which was good and a spring roll which was smaller than most spring rolls but very tasty. There Lunch Specials cost $ 6.29. The place is small and I would only recommend for Takeout.

This is really just a basic Chinese takeout place, but slightly branded with a cooler name. The food is good and they offer brown rice, so I was pleased. General Tso’s tofu did the trick. Quick service, and jump on the Bite wifi while you’re here.

Here I am standing in my t-shirt, shorts and flip flops while it’s windy and below 35 degrees outside and on the phone staring at the delivery guy who is outside of the lobby door. He’s yelling at me to «come outside, come outside!» But really though? Ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce dinner special, was too salty.

I’ve finally found a good chinese place that delivers to the LES. Solid food that is cheap and delivered quickly.

— my new go-to take out chinese place — fantastic complimentary spring rolls, tiny, fresh, crunchy, and delicious — fast delivery — fresher and seemingly healthier versions of your average chinese grease laden msg sprinkled chinese food take out

Apparently chow mien is a vegetable dish that does not include noodles. This is what I was told when I called to inquire about the container of soggy onions I received.(To be fair, there were maybe three pieces of broccoli and a pea pod mixed in with the vat of onions.) For the record, «mien» means noodles. «Chow mien does not have noodles!» the employee insisted over the phone and refused to correct the order. It might have been pretty funny, actually, if I hadn’t been craving Chinese food at the time.

Standard place near nyu for cheap Chinese food. If I happen to be in the area I stop I’m for a small custom fried rice. You get one meat and one veggie and it’s enough to make me feel Full for under $ 6.

Ordered online at , really quick, good price for the huge portions. Was looking for a healthier alternative and ordered the chicken and veggies health dish(steamed instead of fried, sauce on the side, brown or white rice) and it was delicious! Veggies were fresh, chicken was tender, rice was cooked perfect. I’d definitely order again.

I order Riceton about once a week from Seamless web. Pretty good selection, tasty food, & quick delivery, Delivery to Stuy Town is usually pretty quick(30 min or under), and if you’re ordering simple stuff(some egg rolls & wonton soup) and it’s not during a very busy time, I’ve had them ringing my doorbell 10 minutes after placing my order. Can’t get much faster than that! And the delivery guys are friendly too, I’m pretty sure most of them say thank you at least 4 times. Food is good, you have a bit of selection, but must of the menu is your standard Chinese takeout. Wonton soup is pretty good, egg rolls are great, chicken wings are usually very good. Dumplings, general tso’s tofu, beef with broccoli, all solid entrees. The low mein and fried rice are very tasty as well. There’s really nothing on the menu that I’ve tried and been disappointed with. Only issues we’ve had before is my roommate sometimes doesn’t get his brown rice he asks for. But since I’m a white rice eater, doesn’t bother me. He called once and they said they would bring it over, but it would be about 30 minutes. At least they offered!

I’d come here once before and made my own noodle dish. I typically don’t like having to pick my own combination of ingredients(I’m not a chef to know what combines well together!), but felt as if it was probably healthier… hopefully. Recently, I tried the King Pad Thai for dinner. In addition to the standard ingredients(egg, bean sprouts, tofu, scallion, and crushed peanuts) added the roast pork and chicken as my two meats and baby corn and broccoli as my two vegetables. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome and the sizable portion(all for $ 7.99!). Although I have my places for off the menu chinese food, I will definitely be back to experiment with other make-your-own dishes as a cheap alternative to cooking.

This place is really just a Chinese takeout place. They have tried to make it somewhat fusion by adding some Thai dishes and also having udon and teriyaki on the menu. There are three very small tables inside with stools, so it’s more of a to-go place as well. This place is very clean inside. It’s obvious that the place had been renovated. Price-wise, they are pretty cheap and portions are generous. They offer rice(white or brown rice or fried rice) and noodle dishes(pad thai, udon, fried noodles) and just about all of them are $ 6 to $ 8. The ingredients they use also appear to be pretty fresh. They actually have all the vegetables and add-ons on display at the counter behind glass. You can see them scoop out the stuff and put it into the dishes. However, the Thai dishes are completely wrong. They lack the right spices, taste bland, and are not spicy enough. The pad thai is especially bad. Please avoid it! The Chinese takeout stuff on the other hand is above average.

This review is based on delivery via . I like going on SeamlessWeb from time to time and check to see if there are any new participating restaurants. That was when I noticed Riceton. My reaction when I saw that the menu offers fried rice and noodles customized to my taste? SCORE! I picked the King Fried Rice with pork sausage(chinese sausage — another score! bc not a lot of places in the city offers this on the menu), spam, egg, and sweet corn. The delivery was slow, but the guy delivering it was so friendly that he made any frustrations I had melt away. Finally sat down with my food, I tore into it. The aroma that spilled out of the take out box was a-maz-ing! My cube mate was salivating from getting a whiff. The texture of the rice was just right and had the just amount of «fried.» The combination of the sausage and spam made the rice a bit salty, but the flavor was still on point. Next time, I will order earlier and stick to just one meat.

This review is not only for the food but their delivery which people should be aware of. The food was good, i had specifically stated that I wanted my king fried rice spicy and it had just the right amount of spice without losing any flavor. It wasn’t the best fried rice I’ve had but for the money it costs, i think it was decent. The delivery service was horrible. It took them an hour and a half to deliver it to my house, and i understand if they were short staffed as I used to work in a restaurant, there are some things out of your control. But I still think a restaurant has a duty to call the customers to let them know of the delay, its only fair and I don’t think its too much to ask for. I will probably try again since I did enjoy the food and change my rating.
