Yeah one of my favorite places to go to. I love red lobster why well let me tell you. I really enjoy their biscuits they are just the right type of bread to have before eating a soup or salad. I like to have a biscuit then have a soup or salad then my meal. If I get a soup I dip the biscuit in it and yum omg so good. It was pretty empty when I got here which was around 3 — 4 pm. I then got my meal which was fried shrimp and french fries. YES I know its nothing special but I dont care because they are still so so good here. I have been eating this since I have been a kid. Our waitress was really nice always checking on us and giving us refills. I didn’t order any special drink I just got a sprite. This is definitely worth coming too. Obviously I get the popcorn shrimp but there are a lot of other things on the menu that are very tasty. I usually try a piece of w.e. my friends order haha.

its been a while since I have eaten there. tried again last week-end. Food is still over priced and tastes terrible for a seafood place. guess I will stay away longer.

I was here with my friend because we were in the area and needed to kill time before our next move. Long story short, I saw a mouse scurry across the room. I didn’t want to make a big deal of it. I told the waiter. Literally nothing was done. He didn’t update us saying he’d told the manager about it or ask me any additional questions at all. He just said«okay». Like… I am in your restaurant telling you I just saw a mouse. This was in the early evening(4 ish) and was not busy at all. He just really lacked customer service. I definitely will not be returning here.

Ugh, you guys made me so happy tonight and don’t even know it. I wanted to keep it simple tonight and went for Red Lobster in Times Square. It was also one of the restaurants close to Port Authority. If I can give anyone advice, it would be to sit at the bar, you’ll get your food faster. But I also visited after hours so there was barely anyone there. Based on the receipt, my waitress was Doly? Girl, thank you! She was so sweet and kind and her partner was also. He(I didn’t get his name) actually suggested the mojito for me because I had not tried it before and low and behold! It tasted exactly like my grandma’s lemonade. So either they didn’t make it right or my grandma has been sneaking in some good stuff and trying to get us tipsy all along. *scratches head* Either way, I loved it. The only thing I’m kinda not happy about was my $ 45 tab. Like. Really. I was by myself. How did I do that? Trust me when I tell you that I suck at saving and never mind the fact that food is my life. I will spend my entire paycheck at one restaurant. Trust and believe me! Anyway, thank you Red Lobster. For being there when I needed you the most and for taking all my money.

I am not a fan of most American chains except I’ve always loved Red Lobster. I ate here with a group a few years back and it was quite good when we dined upstairs. Recently I came alone after work and ate at the bar. The shrimp entrée I had here was okay. However the salad that came with it was terrible. They served a lifeless iceberg lettuce that tasted straight out of a bag of salad you would buy at a supermarket. The service at the bar was fairly slow as well on a weeknight.

First timer! I came with a party of 7 people. The guy who served us was super nice and hilarious. Sadly, i was almost full when the food wasn’t even here yet. He served us biscuits and caesar salad. Of course, we ordered the famous red lobsters. The food overall was pretty great but $ 7 for a side mac & cheese. The food was overpriced. Smoothies were $ 5 and lemonades were $ 3.

I went in alone last week for first time. I been around many years and never went in to the famous red lobster, so I decided it was time. And I wanted to know how it is before I invite anyone in. When enter the first floor and they send you to a transparent elevator with an aquarium behind it. I thought it was cool and if someone wants to run without paying will fail.(I seen people run from apple-bees in Broadway and 6 police couldn’t catch because they were fat but that’s another story) The place is dim you are sit in your place a nice guy with calm voice ask me what I needed. I got Cesar salad and lemonade. I thought the salad was going to be unlimited like in other restaurants but here didn’t look like it. I got some warm biscuits too I think they were free. I ordered Dueling Lobster Tails took some time and I ate it and asked for a lemonade refill(I guess that was free didn’t check the bill much). it was good.

Went for an early lunch. Service was great, food amazing. The cheesy biscuits were to die for. Had the lobster mac & cheese starter… incredible!!! All the food was well presented, fresh and delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat!

SHADYTIPPRACTICES! I think this has probably been one of my most earnest Unilocal reviews. At the end of my meal, my friend asked me how much would I rate this red lobster after I went, I told her probably 3 stars because our waiter was very good with the service and the food kind of met expectations of what you’d expect from a chain restaurant. Quoting my friend«this is the saddest piece of broccoli I’ve ever seen»…but that was until I realized how shady their practices are. When you get the receipt, they already tack on 18% tip. Once you get the receipt where you have to sign, there is another suggested 18% on the receipt… so in total they’re suggesting a 36% tip? That is absolutely ridiculous and intentionally misleading. I think most diners are not suspicious enough to think that a restaurant would do something like that. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I’ve seen that at least. Perhaps it’s my fault for not being more careful so I tipped the guy double… but then again I just want to eat dinner and not have to be on detective mode when I’m paying for it. I am never going to Red Lobster or any of their chains again. Never again!

I went here for the first time and I LOVEDIT. OHMYGODTHEBISCUITS. Amazing. Good deals for lunch or weekday dinner. Good service, no wait. My fish and chips were great but my friends meals were mediocre. I would definitely go back.

We all went to celebrate my brother’s birthday and had a great time… The food, delish… and our server Eric was hilarious even though he was judging us… The wait wasn’t long and once we got seated we were content until we left… got our menus, he slid some biscuits on the table(devoured)… took our drink and food orders and everything after started coming out like clock work… drinks, apps, salads etc. I had a taco trio of Lobster tacos that were AMAZING… I’m already ready to go back… and we finished dinner off with dessert, a chocolate chip lava cookie with ice cream… chile I left like a Zombie cuz a food coma was calling me but they had my taste buds at attention… And once again the service was great, so if you go make sure Eric is your waiter — easy on the eyes, funny, and aint stingy with the cheddar bay biscuits!

This is a chain restaurant so what you think you’re gonna get is why you’re gonna get. The two times I’ve been here were both for birthday dinner. One person chose it because they had never been and wanted to enjoy some campy-ness to their birthday dinner and the other person… well…doesn’t have great food taste and was genuinely raving about how this was her«favorite seafood place» ever. *Insert eye roll here*. So both of my meals here were a solid 4 stars. It’s pretty decent food in that, «I’d like a 3000 caloric intake of warm, buttery, saucy, slightly-overlooked comfort food brimming with ooookay seafood components». I’ve done their shrimp scampi and their crab Alfredo linguini entrees and OFCOURSE their(in)famous cheddar bay biscuits — at like 130 calories each, one should definitely eat these with extreme moderation. Service and ambience were okay both times so no complaints there. Would I come back here again? Hello yeah. These«Lobsterfest» commercials they’ve got running right now are drool inducing. Would I actively make plans to eat here? Sure. If I want to be campy and ridiculous. Would I call this quality eats? Not really. It’s New York. Don’t come here if you’re a tourist. Go someplace better. We’re the culinary city of Kings. That being said… anyone want some cheddar bay biscuits? Lol.

A little bit of long wait for 2 people. but hey I get it, its Times Square. Red Lobster is a chain I get it, its not something that will blow your mind but this location wasn’t terrible. Overall my review was motivated by the service provided. Holly was our server for the night, and I have never received a better menu specials presentation ever. She went over every change in detail and even though my mind was decided on what I wanted to have I felt compelled to listen! She was very attentive and very helpful. if the rest of the staff works this well I will be returning.

I’m here for the biscuits! I’ve been to Red Lobster many many times from my childhood straight through to my adult life and I must say I never get tired of their cheese biscuits. They’re a classic. Simple review because. lets be real this is a chain restaurant and that’s not a negative. The food generally always tastes the same. I personally only deal with either crab or lobster which is typically good. The«crab bake» which is a fairly new menu item is my favorite. Crab legs, scallops, shrimp, potatoes and corn all smothered in a garlic and white wine sauce. Of course being in Times Square this location is always packed but it’s spacious and good for large parties. The drinks are strong too!

Red Lobster does not care about the seafood lover in me! If they did, they’d serve better seafood! This is NYC folks, if I’m paying $ 30+ for a seafood dish, it should be good. It should be really good. Ok, the biscuits are great, but frankly, I can now buy the mix at Costco and skip the mediocre seafood and chain restaurant atmosphere. The décor was nice, chain-y, comfortable, booths, etc. Our server was very nice as well, upbeat, enthusiastic, helpful. The food, not great at all. I got the coleslaw, it was sour, had to send it back. Then I got the caesar salad which was mediocre at best. My seafood plate was just meh, the seafood was mostly overcooked, the lobster tail was mushy, the shrimp scampi were puny. All in all, there are about 1000 better options for seafood in NYC, plus you can avoid times square!

Came here with a few colleagues at noon. We booked seats in advance but i feel you don’t have to because they get plenty of room there. They offer typical chain-store sea food menu, nothing unexpected. The food is way too salty but charges reasonably, given its brand name and the heart location. The service needs improvement. Our waitress was nice when she served at our table but it was just too hard to find her. Spent too much time waiting for her to come. And at the end, the check came in with 18% gratuity automatically added. This was too high for lunch at such level of service. You can of course decrease the tip amount but I doubt who would really do so. So kinda feel like being forced gently to pay high tip.

Very attentive waiter who catered to my friend and I’s cheesy biscuit cravings, which happened to be the best course of the meal. I finally understand the rave for these biscuits! The pick 3 deal for 19.99 is worth it since it did fill me up, but food was average and lukewarm alongside how small the plating seemed. Popcorn coconut shrimp is a no. Lobster alfredo is a yes. Glazed salmon is a maybe.

My friend and I came on a friday night expecting a long wait, instead we were told 20 minutes but only waited ~15 minutes. Our server Andre C. was exceptional for a chain restaraunt. I wanted a strawberry lemonade, but he suggested a raspberry lemonade because it had free refills and it was delicious. We had seconds of the cheddar cheese cause he would always stop by and check up on us, that was really great. He answered my friends questions with ease. The food was okay, nothing to be amazed, only the cheddar cheese biscuts were exceptional(a bit on the saltier side). Paid 19.99 for 3 different dishes, got the handbreaded shrimp, baked lobster alfredo(really salty) and the maple chicken(really sweet). Raspberry lemonade with free refills was 3.49(really good being in times sq and nyc). I will be back to try other things and hopefully the other serves were just as good as Andre!

Guter Service und«man weiß was man bekommt». Allerdings auch nicht billig. Die Lage am Times Square ist natürlich super. Kann man gut machen, wenn man gerade in New York ist.

Hummer! Lecker schmecker — man was hatten wir da Bock drauf. Also ab zum Red Lobster.
