This place is amazing. The negative reviews … A bit surprising. I’ve visited Ray’s many times and have not had a single bad experience. I love their food.
Best beef stew. Plantains and so yummy.
Great place. Good food. Reasonable prices.

It took 25 minutes to get food to table from order – and we were the only people in the café when we ordered.
Apathetic waitress kept apologizing for the delay to us and to the other diners that eventually came in after us who simply ordered hamburgers with fries. Burnt nachos covered in AMERICAN CHEESE SLICES. Cold, greasy mofungo. Really awful experience. Avoid like the plague. Never again. You’ve been warned.

This place has a warm and inviting atmosphere! The employees are very friendly and do all they can to ensure your comfort. I only had water, a small salad and coffee, but they still treated me like I was royalty. Next time I’m in the area, I will return!
