The Dr is fine. His staff is horrific. Passive aggressive and incompetent. They care not one iota about the patients.

I am surprised that Dr. Raymond has gotten only one review here, so let me add mine. He is amazing. About four years ago, while I was uninsured, I was referred to him for a colonoscopy –a procedure which involves both himself and an anestheseology nurse. This is expensive. Not only did Dr. Raymond do the procedure with the nurse; he put off billing me for a while. And when, six months later, I was able to pay an amount well below«list price,» he cut that amount by one third as his total bill. Now that I am insured, paying is not a problem — but he came through in the clutch. And yes, I felt he got to know me during our initial consult — this was no rush job, nor was I treated second class. So even now, why would I consider going to someone else? This is an extremely ethical doctor, who is also one of the best at what he does.

Dr Alan Raymond is a great down to earth doctor. He is the type of doctor that actually listens to you instead of saying hi for 5 min and then your out the door. He specializes in gastroenterology he has been studying GI for over 25 years now and i have to say he knows it in and out he is a pretty awesome doctor. his office is super clean and has high tech equipment for procedure such as upper endoscopy and colonscopys, staff is always super friendly and they have TV to watch and its not on a boring channel like a doctor channel or the news, they watch special victims unit and your regular morning shows on channel 7, Rachel ray, regis and Kelly and so on .If your ever looking for a GI doctor in the kips bay area try Dr Alan Raymond you will see how great his bed side manner is.
