Dr. Rao and Dr. Noor are as good as it gets!

Dr. Rao made me feel like an annoyance to him (and it was my first time there — wouldn’t he want to gain new patients??? I guess not)…I am not going back. I came in for a minor skin issue and was given 3 options but no guidance regarding which option to choose. He also said I better make a decision soon because he has a meeting… who wants that from a doctor?

Dr. Rao is a kind, funny and straightforward dermatologist who truly cares about his patients. His staff including the receptionist and nurse Matilda are very nice and caring too. I definitely recommend Rao Dermatology to those looking for a great Dermatologist.

Stay away from this place, inflexible schedule for laser appointments, and they charge $ 100 for cancelation that’s made less than 24 hours prior your appointment, I had to wait 3 month in between my two laser appointments, be aware!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rao and his team for about three years now and I never plan to see another dermatologist again! Prior to becoming Dr. Rao’s patient, I had been to a handful of dermatologists in the city and was never very pleased with those experiences; luckily a friend suggested I visit Dr. Rao and his team.
Dr. Rao is knowledgeable, compassionate and professional, not to mention a very nice person who genuinely wants to see his patients healthy and happy. I have seen him for several different things (both medical and aesthetic), and each time the results were excellent.
Additionally, his team, including his front desk staff and assistants are wonderful. They are attentive and on top of their game. Dr. Rao also just added a full time esthetician who is very skilled; I’d also highly recommend her for facials, microderm, etc.
In terms of the wait, I usually only have to wait about ten minutes for my appointment; once in a while I’ve had to wait up to ³⁰⁄₄₀ minutes (this is rare). But I’d MUCH rather wait to see a doctor whom I really trust, verus going to a derma who I’m not totally pleased with.

After being frustrated with another dermatologist who, after 8 weeks, could not cure a skin infection, I found Rao Dermatology. Dr. Malik accurately diagnosed my condition and provided prescriptions and within a few days, I saw remarkable improvement. Not only was he very thorough, he was also very professional and courteous, as was the office staff. I will definitely return in the future.

I loved my experience with Dr. Rao and his team. His front desk staff is courteous, professional, and do a great job with follow up. I consulted with Dr. Rao a few years on a neck scar. He was very meticulous and methodical with the various procedures. We first did steroid creams, injections, and then decided to do a few sessions of laser resurfacing. He was very patient and friendly. I appreciated that he asked about my day and was generally interested in me as a person. His assistants were also very warm. He seemed to be quite busy balancing several practices on the East and West Coasts.
Now my scar is barely visible and no one notices it anymore.
