Such an awesome sandwich place. I got the Brazilian, my fiancé got the Korean sandwich, which I tasted too. Just the right amount of food for lunch — it was so tasty — excellent mix of flavors!

Totally delicious food. Amazing soup!!! I tried the Mexican sandwich and was smitten. So yummy! I liked that it was fresh and light but still substantial and satisfying. Friendly staff and did I mention soooo yummy!!!

Dear fellow Unilocalers, Thank you. I left for lunch today on my usual path to mediocre food but instead returned fully satisfied(albeit a tad logy). Following the advice of posts previous, I ordered the Korean sandwich(bulgogi with daikan slaw) and it was in a word, scrumptious; the bread — soft and fresh, the meat — tender and flavourful, the spices — perfectly complimentary. Only caveat to the whole experience was that it was incredibly hot while waiting for my sandwich, so hot in fact i had to stand outside(where 90 felt like 60 comparatively). I tend not to review places after my first experience as it may not truly reflect the service, however this felt necessary as a great meal was instigated by you, the Unilocalers. So thanks again, I can’t wait to go back.

I was craving the Gringo Especial — since Mr. Taco Man or Men(Calexico) was having technical difficulties and was not at their usual spot, I had to find something else to eat. K told me about PS and so I figure why not and check the place out. I am always looking for new places and not to mention I am so sick of SoHo places. A and I went there and I got the Brazilian and A wanted the Tex Mex but they were out of it so A had to get Korean. A said Korean was Yummy and Spicy. My Brazilian was good, but I had to add my own hot sauce. I appreciate the softness of the bread. I only like to eat sandwiches that I can’t be able to make myself. I don’t think I would make this sandwich, so I definitely will come back and try other things. Small place — only 3 tables and not to mention the stools’ and tables’ were the same height. You better have good posture to eat at this place.

Eh. That’s about it. I have no no idea how people gave this place 5 stars. After frequenting the other places in the hood(Snack, Vesuvio/Birdbath, Alidoro’s, Olive’s, etc.) this place honestly can’t compare. Somewhat bland, the Brazilian sandwich had quite a bit of fat still on the meat. My friends tried the French and the TexMex ones and neither were thrilled. Bread is important to a sandwich, the bread was very average. IMO, not worth the money, so that’s why the 2 stars, if it was cheaper maybe it’d be 3.

Perhaps it’s due to all the hype, but I was disappointed with Project Sandwich, especially since it’s located next to Snack. I couldn’t help but compare the Project Sandwich Korean sandwich to the Snack lamb sandwich, with Snack being the winner. Coworker tried the mexican sandwich and said it was very very bland. It’s hardly worth the $ 8 – 10.

If the soups and breads still taste good at 8PM, AFTER the place is closed for business for the day, then you know it’s good! I’m lucky enough to work on the block, and to have been befriended by the lovely Kelvin, master and maker of Project Sandwich’s delicious soups. He’s come by our shop several times with extra soup that was destined for the trash but saved by our hungry tummies. He also brought over an entire baguette one night – which I had to leave out on the desk overnight, since it would have been an odd third wheel on my date that night – but was nonetheless FREAKINGDELICIOUS the next day when I ate it… in its entirety. Three day old bread! And it was amazing! I was also lucky enough today to stop in to buy some bread to accompany my packed lunch, and instead be handed delicious, chewy, flavorful, buttery focaccia… on the house! Thanks Aaron! I think he must be the owner and he is SO nice. Just the sweetest guy, and so representative of the best of small business owners.

I’m both delighted and afraid to rate this place well. Delighted because I found another great sandwich place in Soho to grab lunch(that is not Olives!). Afraid because I don’t want it to get crowded and polluted with NYC foodies. Oh well… people will find out eventually. I’ve only tried two sandwiches from this place so far, but they were both tasty. I had the Brazilian which was great with chimichurri sauce(yum!). Although the beef was a little chewier than I preferred, I figured next time I could just tell them to cook it medium. It was good. Then I tried the Korean Bulgogi sandwich — OMG. This sandwich is amazing. It’s served on a Cuban with some veggies, but it is seriously delicious. I need to try the other sandwiches there, but the Korean is legit, folks. It’s legit, you will not regret ordering it. I also tried some of their soups which are not that great. I would definitely recommend the sandwiches though, especially the Korean. They are pricey at $ 8-$ 10 dollars a pop, but the sandwiches are huge so it’s worth it. I think I’m going back for lunch there tomorrow! I can’t wait!

I’m not one to write complaints, but this place simply didn’t deliver, and I was truly disappointed. I think there’s a lot of potential, but my Mexican sandwich, billed as smoked fish salad, was really a very nice tomato/cabbage/cilantro salad on bread(nice bread) with a few tiny pieces of smoked fish. I know it sounds like splitting hairs, but if you expected a fish salad and it’s 95% salad, you might be disappointed as well. Maybe it was just that sandwich, or just a bad day for the kitchen, but this was my experience.

I was skeptical of all the 5 star reviews by people who didn’t have any other reviews, but this place is the real deal. The Brazilian is a must for steak lovers, and was a perfectly acceptable $ 8. Cute little place, had a bit of a wait at 12:30, but that’s to be expected. I’ll definitely be back to try the others.

Yeah, it’s good. Real good. Go now, before it gets crazy busy all the time and there’s a line outside. Or wait six months and go then, once NYC-ers move on to the next place they read about in the NY Times.

I stumbled in here when visiting New York and my sandwich was amazing. I had the German and the fresh baked bun was absolutely perfect. My favorite part of vacations is stumbling upon gems like Project Sandwich. Make sure you try the tea too! I had the black tea and it was delicious.

Awesome concept and delicious sandwiches! The french reminds me of a salad I had in a bistro in Paris. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

Exactly what SoHo needed. Project Sandwich’s featured sandwiches are made with great attention to detail. When I tried the Brazilian it actually reminded me of the Churrasquerias in Brazil. This delicious juicy steak sandwich satisfies your barbecue cravings without having to leave the U.S. or SoHo for that matter. The next one on my list will be the French! Oooh La La!(oh and the staff serves you with a smile)
