The people who work at this location are fantastic. I work next door and am in most mornings for a coffee and/or a small breakfast, and they are never not kind, helpful, and full of smiles. It can get crowded during rush and I wish they had a better layout but it doesn’t even matter because everyone behind the counter are so nice and it’s such a great way to start the day!

As a Londoner Pret is a staple for me so was a quick and easy option for lunch. This particular pret is very small but has the usual selection, my baguette was good but I’m marking it down as unlike its London stores the prices are high and the staff uninterested.

It was raining and 2Pm on a Tues, so we were surprised at how busy they were, but the turnover was rapid enuff and the 7 of us managed to find enuff seating for all of us. The carrot and ginger soup was tasty, low calories and the roll that came with it was really nice. The hot chocolate was good, and the 12 oz was enuff for me. The others had sandwiches and were happy with their choices. The service was quick and efficient, tho the woman serving me didn’t seem so happy with working. I would recommend it for smaller groups to allow easier seating but overall I would go there again. the only other complaint I had was that while the sandwiches tasted fresh, buying them already wrapped takes away choices.

Great location, perfect staff, very clean, and great tasting healthy food. Prets a sandwich and soup shop with all Organic, homemade and natural ingredients in all their products(besides the cokes lol). There’s only one problem with this location. They have only 6 seats and 3 tables but during the lunch rush up to 60 or 70 people can be cramed in the store. A little trick, always come before 12 or after 2.

I’m a huge fan of this place and this brand. I like the made daily motto and the commitment to simple pre made healthy food to go. These shops are ubiquitous in London and there are others like it in Europe but I’d welcome this brand in any US city. When you don’t want to risk getting sick in NYC go for Pret.

Fresh stuff, a tad expensive for what you get though. Good place to grab a quick sandwich when you are strapped for time.

I’m a quick person and I like how the staff are quick with their services even when it’s packed. That’s why I keep coming back because I’m usually out of there in less than 3 minutes. My favorites are their signature energy bagel, almond croissant, five-grain oatmeal, and cappuccino. So if you’re looking for a quick– to –go for breakfast/lunch this place is definitely it.

This location is nearby so I go there a lot. I tend to like the chain in general. The food is fresh and they mix up the menu items once in a while so I do not get bored. There is a new soup I want to try — Spanish Meatball. Sounds yummy. For gluten free options, go for the salads. I a big fan of the yogurts in the morning. The cup of fruit always looks good, but I think it is overpriced. Also — the multigrain muffin with flex seeds is a nice«pick me up» for the 4pm energy slump.

Ok, I will say that this place has really good quick service food. I had a spiced Moroccan lentil stew and a really nice fresh salad. The people who work here are very nice as well. One weird thing though… no bathroom? I find that really strange. I even asked and they didn’t offer to let me into the kitchen bathroom or anything.

Pret a manager is a top notch experience. When you walk in you can see it is incredibly clean. All their products are on the right, and the options are immense. I was very impressed with the food, but i had to grab more than just the almond croissant to be satisfied. The five grain oatmeal was a splendid experience. Also, the tangerine juice was really good. Everything was made simply and tasted awesome. I would definitely go back again. Additionally, the price was right on everything! The almond croissant was right over 2 dollars, and same went for the juice.

I’ve been working in the area for the last couple of days and came here twice and neither experience was very good. On Thursday I went in and saw that all that was available were prepackaged sandwiches and soups, nothing freshly made. I decided to try the sesame chicken wrap, which was fine, but nothing to write home about. And while I was looking at my sandwich options a rude employee wedged herself in front of me so she could straighten up the sandwiches, so I moved over. And then she did it AGAIN. Was that really necessary? No pardon me? Oy. But I also ordered an iced chai and that was fantastic, complete with cinnamon on top! So I went back today, craving that delightful chai and ordered another. I was in a rush to get back to work so I didn’t think to try it until I was long gone. Mistake. It was basically water – zero flavor, very thin. I’m guessing that the guy who made it tried to steep the tea bag in cold water, which any tea drinker knows doesn’t work. It should be made hot first and then iced down. I don’t expect the guy to be a tea aficionado, but if you work somewhere that serves tea drinks(and really all they make are iced and hot teas, pretty simple) you should probably know how to make them. So I’m out $ 3 and have no midday pick-me-up. Sigh. Also beware, this place is PACKED at lunch time on weekdays. Not surprising, and the line moves pretty quickly, but it gets a bit confusing and there are a lot of bodies packed in a relatively small place.

I like pret-a manger a lot. The sandwiches are always fresh and they have hot soups available in a warming rack. This PAM is a little on the smaller side and there is not a lot of table room but despite this, there is still enough room. I had the egg salad sandwich on a whole wheat toast and a medium Moroccan lentil soup which was delicious. i would recommend and return. They can also be found all over the UK. there is also free wi-fi and the password is on your receipt.

Me love my Pret. This is a really cool branch too. The guys who work there are super friendly and really helpful. I will always come to get my Pret fix here when I’m downtown.

The chipotle chicken sandwich is creamy and delicious! It’s cold outside so I accompanied it with some lentil soup and it was a delicious combination. The space is small but they keep things moving with a smile and fast swipes of your credit card. I’d definitely recommend this midtown lunch option.

If the shop were bigger, I’d give them a full 5-star review. But the space is SOOOO small that they simply can’t comfortably accommodate all the business they deservedly get. But they are a SOLID4-star option for lunch in the area, if you’re not counting your pennies(you can grab a small soup or sweet nosh for under $ 5…but add a salad or sammy, and you’re definitely over a $ 10 lunch limit). Keep in mind, the food is worth every cent they charge: fresh, flavorful, colorful, well-seasoned, and even inventive at times. The staff are some of the most professional anywhere in the city. Always smiling, welcoming, quick and efficient. They have chefs on location to continue pumping out fresh refills of the always disappearing salads and sandwiches. The shrimp options are my favorite. The Moroccan Lentil soup is SOOO amazing! I’d say the baguette sammies are the better way to go… but the falafel wrap is good… the regular sammies on bread are great… I can’t choose just one! But the current Holiday Sandwich with Turkey and the works??? SOOOOOOOO phenomenal! They also now have mac & cheese soup! WHAT?!! I’m torn about whether I like the new option of pre-contained soups, instead of them pouring it as you order. But it expedites the check out process. So more pros than con, by a long shot! Definitely a great option for healthier(or simply fresh, depending on what you buy ;-) lunch in the area. ps — Entrance is actually around the corner on 55th st. They share the larger building with the 13506th Ave address.

I don’t know what I did for lunch before I discovered Pret A Manager. Pret has fresh and tasty sandwiches daily, and offers other treats as well. While not my favorite location, this Pret is three blocks away from my office so I end up here often. The sandwiches are restocked frequently during busy times. One star off because this location is too small and doesn’t offer much seating, and the seating that is there is always taken by tourists and business suits. But that just forces you to eat outside in the sunshine(or trek back to your desk in bad weather). Also they are open past 5 – 6, in case you need to work late and want something healthy for dinner.

Dropped by here for a quick breakfast en route to a meeting nearby. It’s small, and the place will get very crowded for the morning rush, but don’t let that put you off. Very good oatmeal, and quite good cappuccino. The only thing that put off was the impatience and rushed feeling I got from the staff, as one of my colleagues had never been in a Pret, and the lady behind the counter wanted him to order and get to the next person *now*. All in all, a good spot. Just know what you want before approaching the till.

I only ordered two items — a Chai Latte and a Chocolate Croissant. The Chocolate Croissant was good. The chocolate wasn’t too sweet or overbearing and the croissant itself was soft and flaky. My Chai Latte, on the other hand, was not good at all. Sure, this isn’t meant to be a coffee shop like Starbucks or anything like that but this was definitely the worst chai I’ve ever had. The type of chai they use had absolutely no flavor in it and my drink had way too much foam from the steamed milk. After adding a packet of raw sugar, my drink finally had some sort of taste, but it still wasn’t good. This Chai Latte debacle definitely lowered my thoughts about Pret. I came in with high hopes since my friend said she loved this place! Maybe this location wasn’t a good one? I’m not really sure. They still get 3 stars though because it was a nice place for my friends and I to take a break and it’s right by the giant LOVE sign!
