Absolutely love their coffee. I always get a large for about $ 2.89 and some times it’s even free depending if the employees feel like it. The staff here is very friendly and when it comes to them saying don’t worry the coffees on the house, it really does make my day. When they have the seasonal lobster salad, it’s only $ 9.99. It’s so worth it! They also have really good salad dressing like the chimichurri one. It’s so good and you’d wouldn’t find it anywhere else. The sandwiches are good but I think it’s more on the pricier side.

It’s probably not a secret that people who work at Pret can give away free drinks to people they like. It is Pret’s substitute for a loyalty card. Today I got the falafel salad with tahini dressing and a regular latte. Got the latte for free. Yes. The falafel salad had a nice blend of ingredients: greens, hummus, beets, pom seeds etc. But the falafels were honestly a letdown because they were soft and mushy and the fact that the salad had been sitting in the fridge didn’t help. But it was a cheap, easy and healthy lunch for me and the people working here are so friendly that every visit has been a good experience.

This is my first time coming to a Pret-​a-​Manger and I am pleasantly impressed with how wholesome their food variety appears. Their food selection is visually appealing and delicious. This particular location is also very clean and well kept. I picked out an Avocado Nori wrap for lunch and it tasted fantastic. The ingredients in the wrap tasted very fresh and flavorful. I also ordered a Tomato Feta soup that was creamy and tart (in a good way). According to Pret’s philosophy that is posted on the packaging of their wraps and sandwiches, they make every food item fresh on a daily basis. Whatever food that is left over at the end of the day is not thrown away. Instead, they donate the extra food to charities. They also have what seems like a great recycling program, and their garbage bins have a section for each recyclable. This Pret-​a-​Manger seems to be a delicious and ethical place to get some grub. Who knew?!

It’s now 3:45 in the afternoon and I still can’t get this awful dry taste of coffee out of my mouth from the iced brew I got from here this morning. I don’t think that’s supposed to happen. The service was quick and the girl was friendly but I can’t get over how bad the coffee was.

I found this place recently. I tried their pomegranate grapefruit green tea which was kind of a disappointment and not worth $ 3 for 12oz worth. Nothing so wow about this drink. But I tried their croissant which hit the spot. Those seeds were hard to get at since they didn’t fit through the straw and this drink seemed to be made with a syrup. And the plain green tea is something you can make yourself out out of a tea bag. Its eehhh.

I liked this place. It was clean, every table has an outlet and the prices were pretty reasonable. The people that work there were friendly and helpful. I’ll be back here if I’m ever in the area again. I had a breakfast burrito here and it tasted a little bit like it came from an airport. Don’t get the breakfast burrito.

Pret is Pret — it’s quick, it’s easy, it’s in-​and-​out and it’s relatively good. By «relatively», I mean, it is good, but you know, it’s a sandwich. It’s not a steak at The Ritz, people. My new favorite is the Buffalo Chicken Wrap — it’s hot, heavy on the sauce and buffalo-​y. My old favorite sandwich was the Bang Bang Chicken Wrap, in case you were wondering.
Service-​wise, it’s good. The staff is nice and they move quickly.

I chose this place because:
1. I read about Pret A Manger online and thought it was only in London, so when I saw it on Unilocal in New York, I had to come!
2. It was near the Charging Bull and NYSE.
The food: I ordered a pain au chocolat and a pomegranate grapefruit iced green tea. Both good! Real pomegranate seeds in the tea, which was cool. I filled the cup with water later and it was nice fruit water.
The service: Good, although not as excellent as I read online. Since I was staying for a while, the cashier gave me a silver round tray to carry my iced tea and pain au chocolat, which wasn’t necessary, but memorable.
The facility: Spacious with lots of seating. There were probably two other people sitting inside and a few more people who came in after me.
Payment: Paid in cash, so can’t speak to if they take American Express or not.
Overall: Highly recommend.

I stopped into this place while in search for some breakfast before a long day of sightseeing and shopping.
I’m a health conscious eater, and their oatmeal really hit the spot. Along with some fresh grapes… perfect. My sister had a yogurt and granola parfait, and she really enjoyed it as well. We stopped by a couple more Prets while in New York, for lunch and dinner. Their sandwiches were great, and I just liked how relaxed the place was. Low key despite the hustle and bustle of the city.

Come here for a lunch sandwich, baked pasty, or a pot of gold.
Update: I had the Maine Lobster salad over the weekend and was very impressed. There was a lot of lobster and it tasted very lobstery. They also give about as much lobster as a lobster roll at Luke’s lobster. I may be in love with this Pret.
If the pots of gold were any less expensive, I would have them every day. As a big fan of yogurt, I appreciate that they serve plain unsweetened yogurt with fruit preserve instead of sweetened vanilla yogurt which has as much sugar as a can of coke.
I haven’t had all the salads and sandwiches, but the couple I have were very fresh. As I walk by at night, I see the bags of unsold food at the end of each day. I didn’t think the salads have enough oil though, so I prefer to add some.
Their flaky croissant is also recommended.

I’ve only tried their bbq pork and its delicious. i love the consisitancy of this product… it always taste the same. Its not sweet and its not salty. The tortilla shell its rolled in is soft, not dry… it taste great. and i think this is one of those places you take your mom .when you feel like Subways but you know she deserves something much better although you are on the run… haha.
Everytime ivisit pret, the staff is friendly at multiple location in midtown and downtown.

This is my go-​to breakfast spot. The workers are friendly super & efficient. It’s the perfect place to go if you’re running late for work and want to grab a quick bite. I usually grab the bacon & egg on a baguette or the smoked ham and egg sandwich. Portions are not big, but at Pret the mantra is quality. The green ice tea here also has a hint of mango without needing to add sugar, which is always a plus!
Come to Pret for quality, feel good food, that also gives back to the community (they donate food that was not sold to homeless shelters at the end of the night).
5 stars because the staff is so friendly, you’ll be sure to leave with a smile :)

This morning I misplaced my wallet and only realized this at the register with my sandwich and iced coffee. First a fellow customer offered to pay for me, but I refused. As I was walking away, the staff called me back and told me that it’s on them and to have a nice day. SO NICE!
Later, I found my wallet and went back for lunch and to pay for my breakfast but they refused to take my money.
I always loved #Pret, but now they have a loyal customer for life.
Why are they so awesome?
1. Super friendly staff– and I thought so even before today
2. Delicious food, especially their baguettes and wraps
3. Clever ads
4. The best chocolate chip cookies
5. Red coffee lids that don’t shout to the world that you’re wearing lipstick
*one minor point that doesn’t detract from the rest– sometimes my chicken noodle soup is all broth and 2 noodles with 2 scraggly pieces of chicken.

Looking through the window, the place looked like a good spot to grab a quick lunch. There are many pre packaged sandwiches and soups available to grab. Hot and cold.
I got a ham and cheese baguette and my wife got the same with a chicken noodle soup. Sandwiches are fresh and soups are piping hot, which hit the spot on the cold day. It was a good midday break while we continued sightseeing.
Restrooms require a code which you can get from the cashiers.
