Pomander Walk

So, going in I knew this was gated community in Manhattan. Tp the other Unilocaler, these are people’s homes in a community… don’t get so angry.
If you go to the entrance on 93^rd st, you can peek up the stairs and see this historic, century old neighborhood in Manhattan. You can also see the outside of some of the cottage style building on 93^rd and 94^th st. Love this cool piece of history still existing amongst the sky scrappers in Manhattan.

My friend and I saw this on 100 greatest things to do in the city, we were greatly disappointed to find that this is a gated area ! And as beautiful as it is you can only see it through the gate, just wanted put this up here so people will know this area is apparently by invite only so don’t waste you’re time ! Unless you want to see it through the gate.
