Dear Owner, * I have 18 years experience in the pizza business and only comment on things that I feel would HELP a business owner(simple fact that owners don’t see a lot of things) * Your pizza is pretty good, the best I’ve had in Inwood!!! * Immediately get rid of your counter person because you are losing A LOT of money due to his lack of personality, kindness and skills. * I don’t want to be rude, but clean up the place a little(not attractive) I hope you understand! To Unilocal users, go in and try a slice(it’s good), if you agree with me on counter person then don’t go back! Thanks and good luck!

Sorry guys. The pizza might be good but an hour and a half for delivery and when I called to complain the guy said he doesn’t have enough delivery guys and they were too busy to keep up because«nobody wants to cook». It’s Friday night in NYC and all you do is make pizza. Totally sucks.

Possibly the worst pizza I’ve had in my 32 years of life! You couldn’t taste anything except the sour taste of rotten veggies! It smelled sour also and all for $ 20 plus tip. Gross! I like to support small businesses but next time I’ll go to the big companies.

Okay, having read the other reviews, I can see we’re not all fans of their quality. If I can speak first to that, the quality is a 2. Their customer service perhaps a 1, or a –1. I have been here twice recently and the one guy behind the counter first ignores you for up to five minutes. Then angrily says you will just have to wait, they have pies in the oven and cannot do anything for you. I would think he could be a little more apologetic instead of rude about it. Disappointing.

Not once not twice but 3 times I have gotten food from Here and it was disgusting I had ordered 2 slices and a order of mozzarella sticks they were hot the first 2 bites then ice cold the mozzarella sticks the cheese inside was cold what happened to this place only a few years ago the food was amazing I always try a place a few times thinking maybe I went too late in the day but the first time I went @ 8pm the second time I went @ 6pm and the 3 time it was 2pm I would NOT recommend this place to no one you want pizza call dominos

Great pizza! And convenient for those who want a slice to go at night because they’re opened till late… but the employees are very rude and I felt disrespected by them… they just stare and laugh and put their anger all out on you, unprofessional thing to do.

Disappointing to come into a place expecting great food. It’s like they bully their customers in their own language buuuut I understand. Thumbs down.

Everyone else seems to hate this place… but I think it’s fine. It’s also the ONLY place that is open really late.

Came here for a quick bite in… But I gave this two stars since the pizza guy was very nice. Other than that, it was the most slimiest pizza I’ve ever tasted in the history of my existence. Cheese was watery and no taste in sauce whatsoever. Never again!

The worse. Over cooked chicken parm I have ever had. I let it slide – cheap food living on a budget. And then. FOODPOISONING. Fucking. Wonderful.

I am from NY. I know pizza! I am, also, a totally pizza snob. As an adult, I have lived in Vermont, Mass, Texas, New Jersey, South Carolina, and Chicago. Seriously, I know good vs. bad pizza. External from myself, I even have Chicago native friends who eat at pizza haven in the neighborhood. Come on, NY and Chicago is there another hub of pizza snobs? Their calzone, slice pie, and egg plant hero are amazing in my opinion because they remind me of childhoood.

Mediocre pizza at best, but cheap prices keep them going. Absentee owner. Staff have poor language skills, so ordering anything more complicated than pizza may get dicey. Unclean atmosphere.

I like Pizza Haven. For me, it’s the getting-home-from-work-late place and I just need a slice. Big pies, big slices, and the guys who work there are alright dudes. They’re much better than Grandpa’s, which is closer to home, and I’ll turn and walk in the opposite direction when I really want a good slice and no bother at the end of the day. Good, solid, neighborhood place.

The pizza was good. It’s the same New York style pizza you can get from anywhere. Just be careful ordering on Seamless; it took over an hour for them to deliver one large pizza, but they quoted 30 – 45 minutes. I give the food four stars because it tastes good, but it loses one star because of the delivery time.

I would love to tell you how the food tastes but, unfortunately, I can’t. I ordered from them on seamless and received what I can only describe as one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had in a decade of living in NYC. After an hour of not receiving my food, I called the restaurant and received what I can only describe as completely unacceptable behavior towards a customer. Eventually I got to speak to Pete(the manager) who was very helpful and promised not only that I would receive my food in 5 minutes but that he would hand deliver my next order himself(something that I appreciated on his part). The food never came. I called again, asked for Pete, no Pete. They then told me they were canceling my order and hung up on me. I attempted to call several more times which they screened until eventually reaching someone only for him to use profanity in telling me that he was not delivering my food. I then had to contact seamless and spend over half an hour on the phone with a customer representative to receive the credit for my food and some compensation for the inconvenience. I ordered my food at 11:23PM. Only managed to resolve the details with Seamless at 1:20AM. Everything in my neighborhood was closed by then so… no dinner for me. Having been deployed to Afghanistan, I’ve met people who’ve shot at me that I like more than these guys. This is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a restaurant ever.

Roy’s Top 5 Things to Know: 1. Not too doughy, thin, just enough cheese and sauce. Pizza is ‘aight’. 2. No restrooms here. 3. Only arcade machine is a slot machine here. 4. About 2 – 3 booths to sit in. 5. Good selection of drinks(non-alcoholic of course)

I love this pizza! It came on time, fresh and hot and it was delicious. They even brought a calendar and coupons which was cool. Great portion sizes and they also give you a lot of flexible options if you order through grub hub. Would definitely order from here again! Loved it, 5 stars!

I grew up on this pizza. For 30+ years not much has changed. Pizza Haven offers solid NY stye pizza. Is it the best out there? Certainly not, but it always satisfies for a quick slice on the go.

Everyone looks for different qualities when it comes to their«perfect» pizza. My perfect slice of pie, is when you hold it by the crust and it holds straight as cardboard would. If you can give me a crisp crust, I’m an immediate fan. Pizza Haven did just that. The location can’t be beat either as it is right across the street from my apartment and of course they are open super late. For $ 4.75, I got a perfect-for-me slice of cheese pizza and a Gatorade. As mentioned, the crust was perfectly crisp. There was the right amount of sauce and it was fresh and tomatoey. The cheese was melty and got those delicious crispy brown spots. Topped it with a little crush red pepper flakes, and i was in a state of zen as I chowed down while walking up my usually dreadful 5 flights of stairs. Totally a fan for this great slice of pie in my new hood.

This place is decent, I don’t get all the bad reviews. It’s a great local Pizza spot, AND they also deliver. Good service and good food. Sounds good to me! It’s been there forever !
