Just as the poster below me, I came for a friend’s birthday and a promoter with bottle service and VIP tables and had a great time. Venue was beautiful, with plenty of comfortable lounge seating and space to dance. Music was only okay.

Also, not sure if my experience was affected by the fact I was with a promoter and had bottle service and VIP tables, but… I had a lot of fun here, and so did everyone I was with! The bartender was great, very attentive and friendly, and I had a lot of fun dancing, so I wan’t worried about that at all. Maybe the key to having a great experience here is being with a promoter or having bottle service, not sure.

By far one of the worst bartending displays I have ever seen. First of all the place was under staffed. How is it possible that you would have 2 bartenders for an event that will be hosting over 250 people. 2nd of all one(female) of the bartenders is on E and completely heedless. I would say other things regarding this bartender but that would be too cliché coming from a minority.

This is the WORSTPLACETOGOONNYE… I don’t recommend this place at all. This is far from a upscale restaurant! It was a waste of money and false advertisement. My boyfriend and I payed $ 70 per person. It was open bar till 2:00am. The place was dirty. When we came in the bartender refused to serve us a drink unless if we tipped her. I do tip bartenders, but this is not mandatory. I can’t believe she was allowed to do this. They only played Techno music all night. Not even if I was payed would I go here ever again. Left 20 minute’s later. I felt so uncomfortable. It clearly said no refunds but if there was a way I would ask for my money back.

I went here for NYE, it’s really a small place. First the line was back up because of coat check. So we were waiting in like for about 45 mins when we had tickets. You’d think they create a better system. Next I ordered us some drinks, from this tall busty bartender on the first floor and everything was fine. But, then later on that night I see these two bartenders on the top floor demanding tips from customers. There was a male bartender with a head bun, he actually made cash signals with his hands to customers. I mean I was tipping all night, but really? I’m sure if you just acted appropriately you’d probably be tipped. I also ordered an LIT from this male head bun bartender, it was so over poured I almost threw up. Later on we headed to the lower level where we met another bartender, his name was Theo or Tio, but nevertheless he was great. He took orders quickly and got people moving. We ended up going back to him for most of the night. The music was some techno music for straight 4 hours. I was so annoyed by this because on their website it clearly stated they have other music types. The night ended by this busty bartender refusing to serve me because I did not have any cash in my hand that signify I was going to tip her. Then my boyfriend went to the bun headed bartender and then the busty bartender mumble something to the head bun bartender and he refused to serve us. Again this upper floor just wanted tips. This place was dirty and needs to be cleaned. FYI it’s in a basement. I really do not recommend. Another thing, the best part of the ticket was at 2:00am you got entrance to the griffin. Really nice place and great bartenders.

Went here last night with a group of friends looking to party. It was empty when we arrived, no more than 15 – 20 people there. The hosts kept assuring us that it was going to fill up quickly and that if we were going to get a table to get it soon, so we did. 3 hours later, and there was still no more than 25 people in the entire club, with bad rap music playing all night. Had fun here a few years ago but it seems to me this place has fallen off. Ended up spending $ 1200 on a table in an empty club. Will never go back.

Well… the reviews of this place are spot on. A venue that could have potential fell so goddamn short, the best part of my night was reuniting with some friends that I have not seen in a long time. The infinity room is cool, though I was slightly intoxicated and tripped over the steps coming in because I was distracted by the mirrors. The main room was the size of a closet, though this may not have been a huge issue had the crowd been somewhat better. It was an odd mix of young children, and tough guy types, who stereotyped themselves further when they got outside and started screaming at beating somebody up. Music was cool for a bit, then got kinda tiresome. 90s-2000s rap songs that would prompt everybody to sing along. Thats cool if you driving in your car, but not when out for the night. On a side note though, I must disagree about comments made about the bouncers. I thought they were all rather courteous(granted we did get a table) and one even offered to get me a bottle of water when he saw me looking towards a closed section of the bar. WOULDNOTRETURN.

As I read other reviews for Pink Elephant, I just find myself confused! I don’t know if my experience happened to be better because I came in with a top promoter and had a VIP table, but it seemed to me like everyone else in the club really enjoyed themselves as well. My group arrived relatively early and was let in almost immediately by the bouncers outside. When you walk down the stairs towards the main room, you are surrounded by bright, neon pink sparkling lights which I thought complimented the theme and name of the club pretty well. The DJ played mostly current, top 40 hits, which I didn’t really mind, but I wouldn’t have chosen certain songs like a few overplayed hits of 2010. Our table had bottle service, so I’m not exactly positive how much drinks are at the bar, but my boyfriend had two beers and didn’t once mention anything about a high price. I must admit, I did have a solid, good time and wouldn’t be opposed to returning here again.

NEVEREVERAGAIN. The staff treat you with disrespect, they overbook tables, and it is just IMPOSSIBLE to move and get to the bar or the bathrooms. It took me 30mins+ to just go from dance floor to bathroom and back. The music was as if they brought in a 13 year old who was learning how to DJ. Seriously painful experience.

Standard rude door personnel sets the tone Turned a basement in the west village into wanna be disco layout with bad lighting Bridge and tunnel all day in here You might catch a D list celeb in there(probably cause they couldn’t get into anywhere important) Stay home or pick a better spot to spend your money

Giving this place 2 stars – even though we went straight in, because the scene(aka crowd/music) and décor is distasteful. If all you want to listen to all night is loud pounding EDM and Techno, then this place is for you. I just don’t think this truly captures the sexiness and fun of NYC nightlife. Maybe i’ll give it a second chance, but it really just was not a good time. My girls and I ended up leaving after 30minutes.

If i could give them no stars, I would do it. They are not only racist but rude and not accomodating. EVENWHENWEARETHEPROMOTIONGROUPRENTINGTHEPLACEOUT. They only let in Caucasians, even though we are an Asian promotion group. They promised us bigger space and gave us something the size of my bedroom. We had 18 tables reserved and thisplace only had enough room for about 10 of those tables. They toppled people and table on top of each other. They stopped all of my party-goers from coming in, yet let in a stampede of white folks and then took OURTABLES away to give it to them. ITMAKESNOSENSE. The head bottle service guy, I think his name was Marvin or something silly like that(black guy) gave us a lot of atittude and asked why I ordered 2 bottles and had so many guys with me and no girls. Did he ever think that the girls were waiting outside on the lines because the bouncers said they can’t come in? I think not. Later on, when he walked past our table and saw that my table was surrounded by mostly girls, he was quick to look away, He was a total dick. The bathroom was small and cramped. I TOLDTHESPANISHLADY(who was really sweet) THEREWAS A ROACHONTHECORNEROFTHETOILETSTALL, she looked at me and said sorry but left it there. GROSS. The place is just small and cramped. It is not like how it was back in the day with it being exclusive and trendy. Now it just accepts lots of trash and certain types of people(race wise). NEVERAGAIN would I come here or recommend anyone to come here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My friend promotes this place and always throws my parties at whatever venue he’s working each year. I trusted that the party this year would be like every year: A night with all of my dressed-up friends out and having fun. I was promised that, as long as we all got there by midnight and looked polished, it would be seamless. I arrived to the small venue(in the Village) and walked up to the door man, a Harry-from-SATC– look-a-like with glasses and a fedora as tired and played out as SATC references ;) I told him my name, explained we had a table, and he seemed polite enough until another woman approached him and he screamed at her as though she were some kind of servant in a period piece. Yikes! He then went back to being sweet to me and looking at me like I was a steak and he was starving(blech). As we walked down the stairs, I asked, «You work with Parry?» and he shot back, «He works with me!» He then explained that«some of your people may not get in and will need to pay.» Uh, what? I explained that I had a huge number of people coming, some in the events industry, some editors, etc. and that was not our agreement. He told me «as long as they look ok, it should be fine.» Fast-forward 20 min when my friends are being insulted, he’s playing God outside of the venue and telling me that he has an «important» job and has to select«the best» for the club. Is this guy for real? His«important» job of «selecting the best» for a small venue that is the same club(Pandora, Rehab, Pink Elephant I) in a different venue? I am not one to get down on DNA, but this guy was no looker and he dressed like my 90 year old great uncle. His attitude is what made him especially hideous. I’d like to see him get past any door in Manhattan, including his own. My friends, btw, are actually really attractive, all very fashionable(many are fashion editors) and were very polite as he literally insulted them. When I suggested we grab our party and go, he said that might be a good idea because – wait for it–«You don’t know who I am and I don’t need people for my club.» Customer service at its best, Inside the venue: It’s small and packed, music was fine, drinks were typical(watered down). I got a bottle. The waitress came over twice and disappeared and the busboys push you around and yell at you to move as they mop. The scene is spill-over from One Oak, but the bartenders were nice. Tables on the sides were nice, but the ones in the middle were tiny. So, here’s the unfortunate thing. All of those of us who made it through the gate of his little Studio 54 fantasy are so turned off by the way he behaved that none of us will ever go to the venue again. Unfortunate because a lot of us work for top Magazines, luxury brands and do celebrity weddings and events. We are all planning to write about it and make sure that his lines get smaller. Oh, and the friend he really insulted. She had her MRI this morning. Nice guy.

Profiling is still alive and relevant. I know I’m pretty so I know that’s not the problem. The problem is the midget at the door with the craziest Napoleon complex. Little tiny man you. With his leopard Vans and had the nerve to profile someone. Stupid fedora on his head. I had on teal jeans and Minnetonka boots. It wasn’t a real club night it was JUST a holiday party for Elektro Magazine. Not sure why it was such a prestigious event. I saw males get in with sneakers. SNEAKERS! The bouncer was just as rude. My friend tried spelling her name for the doorman and he rudely replied«just say it». She said it, he flipped two pages and said no. The bouncer said ladies step to the side & move away from the line. No one even asked my name. I had my own RSVP. So my friend told me to step in the line again to try my name. As soon as he saw us he said«you ladies again I already told you no». I told him that he didn’t even check my name. According to him it wasn’t on the list even though my friend and I were confirmed for the list. To top it off her friend who found out about the event 20 minutes before we arrived RSVP-ed for the party after it had already started meaning the list was printed yet somehow she made her way inside, hassle free might I add. Please don’t feel empowered by your petty doorman position because you mean nothing and you’re an absolute nobody. My friend definitely told his 3 foot nothing ass off. Keep the change!

Get to the Chase: Pros: 1) None Cons: 1) So small(despite having a bar up top and a lower level with a so-called dance floor) 2) Tacky and the lighting makes it look like some underbudget art film or some kind of porny flick 3) Music was TERRIBLE… get another DJ 4) Way overpriced entry fee and drinks 5) Crowd not-so-much…had and found better in downtown 6) Location… please NOTHING worthwhile is around here 7) During Fashion Week… and yet why did I feel like I was at a college party with cheap cotton candy UV lights?
