Great place. Good fun on Wednesday night with a live band!

Came here last week with a couple of friends to have drinks and was pleased to learn about the happy hour. Can’t beat $ 4 beers! Didn’t have a chance to try any of the food, but will give it a try next time. Overall, seems like a decent, well-priced place to have after work drinks.

Went to this pub afterwork for happy hour, The drinks are moderately priced especially for a bar in the city. Great place to grab a few drinks, if you want some place with not too much going on or doesn’t get super crowded.

There needs to be more bars like this in Manhattan. It reminds me of New Orleans. The night there turned into a blur which is what we were going for. They had a special on tequila shots this particular night and that’s a sure way to win my heart. The drinks were inexpensive(HALLELUJAH), after a few nights of bar tabs that make me cringe, it was so nice to find a place close to our hotel that was casual and like a bar should be. The bar was pretty busy by the time we showed up and we were able to find seating not at the bar. There were sports on which appeased my boyfriend and there were people in a room with pool who all were enjoying themselves. The crowd was super mixed, young, old, black, white, which is so refreshing in a city where you can go into a bar and everyone is in suits. What kinda party is that? In the end, WEHADSOMUCHFUN and I can’t get over how happy I was to find this place for their cheap beers and tequila shots. Thank you Peter Dillion’s.

I didn’t read the reviews before I went here… I just saw that it had 4 stars on 128 reviews. We were in the area and wanted to play some pool before we went to our next destination. So we checked it out but didn’t know what to expect. We showed up early, around 2:00PM on Saturday. With the exception of a full bar, the place was empty and the pool table was open. At first I was a bit turned off by the smell of body odor, but we stayed and grabbed some drinks(which are well priced). I admit that my first impression wasn’t pleasant, but as time went on I found myself not wanting to leave. The atmosphere was great and the people that came in and out were extremely nice. Plus, the bartender was very nice and attentive. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was setting up Christmas decorations at the time. He couldn’t have been any more welcoming. We ended up staying longer than expected and even went back later that night before we went home. All in all, this is a great place to grab a few drinks and hang out. I would recommend this bar if you are in the area. I wish I had an Irish Pub like this around me.

This place is the spot if your either A. a Raiders Fan B. a Good time fan cause this bar is both. Love the atmosphere in this small but extremely charismatic and charming Irish bar. John who I visit on Sundays is an amazing guy and a great bartender and always takes care of everybody. Place definitely gets rowdy but that is how Raiders fans are. Stop by for a good time and a pretty decent selection on tap. Lots of good whisky as well ! Highly recommend it

My coworkers and I have been coming to this bar multiple times a week for about a year. Monday-Friday, it is the perfect bar to hang out with your friends. Cheap drinks, chill atmosphere, and a wonderful staff. On Saturday, however, I had a very different experience. The staff was disgustingly rude to us and basically refused to serve me until I ordered over $ 10 of drinks up front(which is hard when drinks are only $ 4). My boyfriend and I were glad to be back at our hang out though, so we let it slide. About 30 minutes into our visit, the man sitting next to me starts giving my boyfriend the finger and just staring at him. This went on for 20 minutes so we decided to get up and move because, weird. We get up and the guy who looked high out of his mind starts getting up, talking shit, and threatening us. We knew better than to engage in this and risk getting kicked out of our favorite bar, so we told the bartender who said… Nothing. Just stared. My boyfriend asked him if he heard him to which the bartender responded, he’s been sitting here all night without a problem. The cherry on top was when I went to check out my check read«2 Jameson’s, 1PBR, 1 beer». I had not ordered a fourth drink and was skeptical of the generic«beer» written(which cost as much as a shot and a PBR?!). When I questioned it, the bartender gave me a hard time but agreed to take it off. Next day i check my bank statement and I got charged twice! Once with the wrong amount, once with the right. The service Saturday night was absolutely disgusting. I love PDs and the Irish gang mon-fri, but after being ripped off, disrespected, threatened, and charged twice, my friends and I are doubting our loyalties.

So happy there’s a bar for the Raider Nation in NYC. Home away from home :) I enjoyed being surrounded by fellow Raider fans and losing my voice lol.

wow! I hate that we dont have anything like this in Birmingham! while we were in the city this past weekend, we needed to find a place to watch the Raiders game(unfortunately, hotels don’t have DirecTV!). I looked it up on the Raiders Fan Site and it said it was the Black Hole of the NE. ANDITWASRIGHT! We walked in right about the time they scored their 2ndTD of the game and it was JUSTLIKE being at O.Co stadium — but with a bit of a northern accent. the bartender was EXTREMELY attentive. He saw my glass was getting empty and kept checking in on me to see how I was. Not pushy, just letting me know he was there and ready when I was! the patrons were awesome. everyone was so friendly — they seemed to know we weren’t part of their every sunday afternoon crew, and welcomed us. if you’re looking for a place to watch the Raiders game, this is it! the vibe is very«RAIDERS»! if you’re looking to have a cocktail at happy hour at a place where you can feel comfy, you’ve found the right place! thanks to everyone at Peter Dillon’s! can’t wait to get back there for another Raiders game.

A cozy bar nestled only a few streets away from Grand Central! It is in a great location, however, easy to miss because there are so many similar bars and pubs in the area. What I liked about this bar was the down to earth feel, because you almost didn’t realize you were in the middle of NYC. They had great happy hour specials and was not too crowded on a weekday afternooon. The bartender was super friendly and helpful! Definitely will return!

Great place to grab a few drinks. It gets full but not overly crowded. The crowd isn’t bad(andd certainly not douchey like many other bars in the area). Unfortunately they don’t have food(we were offered menus from places around the area that would deliver to the bar) but they had $ 5 Jameson shot as one of their specials for the night(and the shots were a good size!).

Honestly, I went here because of the great Unilocal reviews but wasn’t sure what may be coming. I had heard of it before and knew the vibe but never had the chance to go. Last Saturday my friend and I weren’t sure where to go in the area so we stopped by and it was great! We had no idea there was karaōke and a pool table in addition do well priced drinks. The bartender went up to do karaōke and he was great! The crowd is friendly, but heads up to girls — mostly guys. Definitely more of a place to go with a group of friends than a place to go out to drinks with someone. I actually went with a friend just for a drink and we played a card game at one of the tables which was pretty cool. If you’re looking for a solid bar in the area that isn’t touristy and/or overpriced, Peter Dillon’s is the way to go.

I don’t go here much other than Sunday’s for Oakland Raiders football, but I can live with that. If you’re a Raiders fan(first, god have mercy on our souls) you’ll never go to another bar again. If you’re a football fan in general, you will have yourself a good time. Excellent happy hour drink specials — $ 4.00 select pints and shots. If I had one complaint, it’d be no kitchen, but the staff and ownership is very lenient in allowing you to order whatever you want in — and even have a pretty extensive selection of menus to offer, Its Raider Nation east, with no comparison.

This is a pretty decent pub. I used to work nearby and have been a few times. It’s relaxed with a gentle vibe during the day and the usual after-work buzz in the evenings. They don’t serve food here but you can order in or bring your own. Pretty cool. Nice staff & patrons. I like it!

Came here for drinks on a Saturday afternoon. Ambience: Your usual irish pub; simple with no frills. It was filled with mostly middled-aged males. Drinks: Cheap; they also had some happy hour specials including$ 4 Jameson shots. Not sure how it is at night, but this is probably a spot you go to for pregame.

I usually feel weird writing a review for a place if I’ve just had a beer there. I mean, it’s beer. How different can it be from bar to bar? I don’t usually have fancy cocktails, and if you’re a bartender who can’t pour a beer you really need to investigate a different profession. Well, that’s true in this case as well. It’s a bar. They have beer. The bartenders pour it. The beer selection is standard New York pub. It’s not going to be a fancy bar that you head to with your well-dressed friends to have a classy night of cocktails. This is where you head after work if you want them to pour you a beer, give you a smile, and go about their business. There is a pool table in the back, but I’m pretty sure those guys will shark you out of all of your money. All of it. It’s nice that it’s so close to Grand Central, I could definitely see stopping in here if I had to wait for a train rather than pay the tourist tax to grab a drink in the station. We were there too late on a Friday night to take advantage of the happy hour, but I’ve heard that it’s good and the drink prices are reasonable even if it’s not happy hour.
