Birthday Present Haircut?! Yes, please! Haircut by Perry K– double yes! I met Perry in San Francisco when he moved out west for a year– I had one haircut when my stylist was out sick and was hooked! I was super bummed when he moved back to NYC– but flash forward over a year later I moved to NYC and was in desperate need of a hair cut – and with no where to go! Moving and finding a stylist you love is the worst. But I was super happy to find out Perry was still cutting hair and I booked an appt for my birthday! I love Perry because he’s super sweet, has great technique and my hair feels amazing days after I leave the salon. The salon location is convenient to the subway, and was clean and friendly. I would highly recommend Perry to my friends/​family & I will be going back to see Perry now that I’m in NYC! PS– Great shampoo and Condition at the salon– hot water! I literals melted in my chair.

Perry did a wonderful job cutting and styling my hair — I left with a super chic, fabulous bob which framed my face wonderfully. The service at Alibi was also really great. It made me feel really at home.

I have never really been a regular at any hair stylist, I tend to get simple haircuts and bounce around depending on where there are deals from lifebooker, groupon etc. One of these deals brought me to Perry and now I have left the deal site behind! He is very patient and spends a lot of time before and during the cut to make sure you have a great experience. Plus he just has a great vibe and makes you feel right at home.

I bought a deal off Signpost for a cut, deep condition and blow dry from Perry (he now has a deal on groupon!)…Perry was friendly and talented. He talked to me about what I wanted and told me his ideas as well. Perry gave me a great cut and blow dry too, and I’ll definitely be back (even at full price).

Perry is an excellent stylist. I would also highly recommend him for Coppola Keratin treatments. I originally found him through Lifebooker when I was looking specifically for a good price on Coppola Keratin (after having done research that this is the highest quality and safest keratin treatment on the market). Perry is meticulous when doing the keratin treatment and is professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I have been back for a number of haircuts and keratin treatments and always walk out feeling great and have gotten many compliments on my hair. I even sent my mother to him to get Coppola Keratin and she is very happy with the treatment and recommends Perry, too!

Nice, clean place and polite staff. Mediocre haircut. Little to no styling. Products used were not the best quality. My hair looked ok, but not great like I had expected and was used to from other places. And I have pretty good, manageable hair. I even had better styling at a generic LES hair place! Especially for the price charged — it’s not ultra high-​end, but it’s definitely up there. I really want to give a great review, but I was really unimpressed and plan to keep looking.

I just went to see Perry K. today for a Coppola Keratin. I bought the lifebooker deal for it. It was my first time with Perry K. at Alibi 25 Salon. He was absolutely GREAT!!! My long thick frizzy wavy hair became nicely straightened! He is very knowledgeable on what he does and is a nice person. I would absoultely go back again!

since I have been looking for a salon and hair stylist since I moved to New York, which was a nightmare to me searching the web and reading reviews on Unilocal; looking for a stylist who can trim my wavy curly long hair.
There I found a Groupon for Alabi 25 salon which I Unilocaled and I was amazed by the reviews on perry and the salon.
And I got to say Perry did A TREMENDOUS job! couldn’t be much happier and more satisfied with my hair! he took time to understand my natural hair and how I love to do it on daily basis, he was amazing with trimming only what needed to be trimmed, not cutting all the hair off! and yet he styled my hair and it looked amazing!
he also tries to recommend whats better for you and for your hair; the products he used I totally fell in love with, I already feel my hair so soft and healthy.
It was such a nice experience and I had so much fun, with the hand message, and with perry who is such a friendly person who made me feel like he is my regular hairstylist and I am in my regular salon.
It was my first experience at N. Y and at Alabi 25 which I totally loved! and with perry who did a great job! and let me tell you it was great and it totally worth it, and I will be going back thats one thing for sure.

I went to see Perry K to use a groupon. I have long, think blonde hair and get nervous every time I get a haircut. Perry did exactly what I asked him to do, long layers and not too much length off. The cut looked great. He is also a really nice person, thanks Perry!

I had been shopping around for a good stylist for a while before I came across a Lifebooker deal for Alibi 25 and made an appointment with Perry. I’m usually beyond apprehensive with getting my hair cut, especially with someone new (I definitely fall in the obsessive/​anal camp when it comes to my hair), but Perry put me at ease right away. The salon was large, airy, and the ’90’s hits and complimentary wine were exactly what my frazzled nerves needed after a stressful work week. Even though I was his last appointment of the day, Perry patiently took his time to talk through exactly what I wanted and what he was going to do to achieve the look, as well advising on daily maintenance, so that I knew what I was in for once I got out of the chair. After the consultation, I was whisked away for a relaxing shampoo & deep conditioning — made all the more enjoyable by the Ace of Base playing in the background. Perry was quick yet meticulous and attentive, making you feel like you’re in good hands. Speaking of hands, the hand massage was a wonderful interlude to the experience :) I floated out with a haircut that was exactly what I envisioned… except prettier.
If you’re looking for someone who will love your locks as much as you do, Perry’s your guy!

Perry did an amazing job! My ends were super damaged and my whole head just needed to be cleaned up and he did it perfectly and really quickly too! I purchased the Groupon for my haircut, and the salon treated me very well. Great experience, I definitely recommend and will be going back again!

I purchased 2 vouchers, just as the loot stated– limit 2 per client.
the first time i went — blow out was mediocre, the stylist was not very happy to be serving me since i had a loot. I am sorry, but then why did you go on Lifebooker???
imy hair was blowdryed flat– i had to ask to have some volume added on the top
when i came in for my 2 nd blow out– i got my hair washed and then the stylist told me that i am not suposed to be using 2 vouchers, and that it is 1 per client limitation, which clearly is not the case., i was offered to pay full price, i said i cannot, then he made a favour by blowdrying my hair since i was already there
NEVER AGAIN! WOULD NOT RECOMEND TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS!

Perry did a great job in cutting my thick, long, and very dead hair. He was quick to cut and style but the job didn’t seem rushed. He was nice as were all the other people at Alibi. Great atmosphere– so all in all it was worth it!
Reason for only 4 stars is that I wish he thinned out my hair a tad bit more, although I know that too thin at the bottom makes the top poufy. But besides that– Great haircut! Def recommend!

Perry was brilliant. I came here with a groupon and he was really friendly and my hair looks great. I have difficult hair — and Perry did a fantastic job. I would certainly recommend him. And the hand massage from Stephanie was a really great free extra!

I’ve been letting only one person cut my hair for the past 5 years because I was always afraid of having someone get scissor friendly with my hair and cut way too much off. I took a chance with Perry and Im so so happy I did! I told him what I wanted and he did EXACTLY that and told me what else would look great. (adding a little angle in the front and long layers in the back) He is extremely professional and very very kind. I loved my hair cut and have gotten SO many compliments.!!

I agree with all the other five star reviews. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly welcome. Fine shampoo and hand massage from Kelly and a smart-​looking blowout from Perry. AND, he works FAST. I was out in an hour in spite of having long thick hair.

I came here for the first time very hesitant because I am so particular about my hair and have been going to the same person for 8 years now. My cut was awesome, I received many many compliments that evening. Will def go back!

I don’t usually spend much money on my hair, but my girlfriend insisted I go see her stylist Perry so I would be more «presentable» for the meeting of her parents for the first time.
Perry’s cool and my new hair style looks really unique, but at the same time still family-​friendy. He said the haircut would last 6 weeks, it’s been about 5 weeks now and my hair still looks great!

I discovered Perry trough Lifebooker and am so glad I did! I went in for a deep conditioning and blowout the night before my office holiday party and it not only held up but still looked amazing. The conditioning treatment included a scalp massage as well as a hand massage. So relaxing. Perry was great to chat with and made my hair look like that of a Hollywood starlet. I will definitely be back!

The treatment and environment is great. Even though I went in with a life booker coupon, i was treated with the full service. They started out by asking for your coat, then asking what you would like to drink (wine was a choice), dress you in a decent looking robe and even give you complimentary head and hand massages! I got a haircut and Perry chopped about a foot of my hair off. It’s so soft after the conditioning and i can’t stop looking at the mirror and running my fingers through my hair. Five stars~
