After years of going from salon to salon I found a reasonable place that really listens to you and delivers. Plus Reina is such a lovely person to spend a half hour with. I have been her loyal customer for 3 years and would strongly recommend.

I travel all the way from Astoria to go to Reena. I was a walk-​in one day and she took my tragic boxed dyed hair and turned it into beautiful blonde locks. She is a true professional that cares about giving you the correct color and cut for you. Her prices are reasonable and her value immeasurable. After years of looking for a salon, I found found one I can call home.

I’ve been going to Reena since she was her old location, at least 7 years now, and she is the best there is! I’ve gotten everything from hair cuts, to highlights, to keratin treatments and blow outs. She’s so good that I’ve had many of my clients (actors) go to her for their haircuts, both women and men.
Reena is as warm and friendly to you as you are to her. Just like most of us true New Yorkers. So she has always been nothing but the best to me!
This is a great hairsalon is the style of the old school salons. Once you’ve been a few times you are part of the ‘village’!!!

Reena is a hairdresser with the worst customer service attitude I have ever encountered. She does not do your hair the way you want, but the way she wants! She thinks she is always right, and is rude to her customers and her staff. She needs anger management classes. Stay away unless you are part of her mostly elderly clientele!

Reena is as good as they come. I can’t speak for the female clientele, but I’ve been getting my hair cut here for 5 years and I’ll travel all the way out from Brooklyn for it. When you get to know these ladies, they will treat you like family. I can see it with all the regulars that pass through. This is a great little community spot.

Got a fantastic cut today. Walked in and they sat me down right away. No frills, no nonsense. She listened, and gave me exactly what I asked for. I’ve been growing my hair out forever, and every time I go get my hair cut and tell them I just want them to take the mullet off the back, they take off WAY too much length. Not here! Not only did she do exactly what I asked for, she balanced out the lopsided cut the last stylist had given me (for twice the price!). I wish I had asked her name; my stylist was lovely, and I knew I was in good, experienced hands the moment I sat down. Thanks!
