Service! They are so attentive and nice here, even with the hectic crowd inside and outside their shop. If you’re looking for a cheap pair of shoes and don’t know where to look, stop on by!

I came in here today at around 1 PM. looking for a pair of sneakers. My old ones were ready for the scrap heap especially after getting waterlogged in yesterday’s rainfall.
I looked up Payless shoes in the area and this was the second one I went into.
I saw a pair of Champion sneakers that looked good but one closer inspection, they would definitely get soaked in the rain and I need a pair of sneakers that would at least partially deflect rainfall as I usually only have one pair of sneakers at a time.
I saw a pair of black mid-​cut sneakers with laces produced by a company I never heard of, Airwalk. I tried them on and it fit nicely.
I went to the cashier after making up my mind to buy the Airwalk sneakers but i still asked the cashier about them. She said they have been around for a while.
It was buy one get second item half off. Since I didn’t have the budget to buy another piece of footwear, I bought an extra pair of laces for the sneakers.
All together it was about $ 41 dollars give or take a few cents’

Isabelle Toledo for Payless shoes almost impossible to find.
At least three styles in various sizes.
Is it because no one goes here?
Watevs.
It means I can wait several months until things go on sale and find them on sale.
I called. They held some for me. I walked around and found some others. Bought four pairs of Isabelle’s shoes for under fifty bucks.

Terrible service at this location. I tried returning a pair of pumps and the lady was giving me an attitude. Will not return again!

Found flats that would go with my Halloween outfit. Took them up to pay at the counter. People working there couldn’t figure out how to work the security tag removal machine. Was unable to get the shoes.
Just another day in the life of the 8^th & 34^th Payless.

The shoes are really cheap though!

I like to get kids’ shoes here, as the price is right, my son likes some styles, and they’re all over town. Also, some are even made of leather!

Bring socks, because they’re always out of peds. Shoe layout makes no sense in the women’s section… the size 10s are in three different areas of the store!
If it gets crowded, it’s hard to maneuver around. The one up by 34^th and 7^th is a bit saner.
