This institution is one of the best to eat hot dogs. Very tasty cheese sauce, take more, you will not regret. But another of the important points of this institution — unusual flavored drinks juce Delicious. Be sure to try this in New York. This is a very popular restaurant, is not empty! It is a pity, have to stand.

Chilly wind was blowing sprays of ocean water over boardwalk… Fresh clams tasted just like a wind — clean, with a bit of saltiness. Like a bit of happiness in little shells. We split lobster roll again — it was buttery delicious, with huge chunks of lobster and nicely toasted roll. Drinks, nice conversation with friends about nothing at all, watching people passing on a boardwalk, and soaking last summer sunlight. How perfect.

This is an essential place to eat on the boardwalk, maybe THE essential place(if Nathan’s didn’t exist). It’s one of the few places remaining that has existed through a generation, but more of a draw that the food is actually pretty good and the prices are fine — you somehow aren’t being ripped off at a tourist haven. Yesterday I had clam strips with fries — the clams had a lot of flavor, moreso than I can remember any others. It was great. Also had fresh shucked cherrystone(large) clams, mixed with the cocktail sauce, it was totally worth it $ 16 for a dozen. While we’re talking about clams, let’s just wedge into here a little education. The names for them have no bearing where they’re from, it has to do with the size. From small to large, tender to chewy, you have: Little Neck, Top Neck, Cherrystone, then Quahog. ALSO had an lobster roll. It was excellent! Very surprising, and this should definitely be considered among the top in the city in terms of flavor, value, and atmosphere. At $ 15, I couldn’t contain the lobster salad in the heavy buttered, crispy and soft split, top bun. Last weekend I went on a roadtrip to Rhode Island, eating 3 lobster rolls in 3 days — and this was better than all of those. It was surprising how much I enjoyed it. This should definitely be a stop for any tourist or local. And I am proud to say that after seeing a lifeguard caught in a lude act, people washing themselves with broken hoses, sleepy taco stands, beer and empanadas sold on the beach from cute Mexican ladies, and just the general city people doing beach things — Coney Island, through all the PR and facelifts, still has the grit we’ve always loved it for. I am pretty sure I I love it even more now.

Ate here while on vacation. My daughter and I was entertaining ourselves at Luna Park and need a break from the sun. We just shared a dozen clams on the half shell, beer for me, Pepsi for her. She washed all of that down with an ice cream cone. I like this place because it’s not pretentious, the clams are fresh and cheap. Likewise, the beer is cold and inexpensive. For me, this was a better choice then grabbing a hot dog next door.

Forget the hotdogs and other junk food when visiting Coney Island. Paul’s Daughter is my favorite of a handful of little bars along the boardwalk where you can sit in open air(but under a roof) and get a beer and some food. The only challenge at Paul’s Daughter is finding a seat, but you can get food at the counter to eat at one of a handful of standing-only high tops or elsewhere on the boardwalk. Their lobster roll is phenomenal. They offer clams and some other delicacies as well(including hot dogs!). Service was prompt and efficient, but far from personable. Conversations with other friendly customers compensated for it though. Credit card users take note that you can’t tip on the credit card, so have some gratuity cash available.

I don’t actually know who Paul’s Daughter is. Maybe I dated her once? I can’t remember. It’s all a little foggy. No literally, it’s foggy down here because Coney Island can get a little foggy in the mornings. I can’t really overstate how much I didn’t like Paul’s Daughter. It’d be the kind of place I’d give a 2 star rating to, if it had high ratings, but since it doesn’t, I’ll stick with a 3, which is about the lowest I go for family owned places. The hot dog just didn’t do it for me and that’s putting it mildly. And the bun was totally stale. My friend didn’t like her food at all either. But then I literally have never enjoyed a single place I’ve tried in Coney Island, not even Nathan’s. So maybe it’s just me. In England, seaside places are delicious. But then, they’re also named boringly. I’d much rather eat Paul’s Daughter than«Fred’s Chips.» Wouldn’t you?

The soft serve ice cream is great! It’s very refreshing on a hot day. The employees are a little rude though. I didn’t try the slushies but they look great!

It was a typical boardwalk restaurant. Not bad, but not great. Here’s the breakdown of what we ate: The good: — The Lobster Roll: even though it was on the pricey side, it was amazing. According to my girlfriend, she rated it as «better than Red Hook, but not as good as Luke’s Lobster.» I thought it was delicious and there were huge portions of lobster in it. The bread was also well buttered and crunchy and moist all at the same time. I just wish it didn’t have those darned celery pieces in it. I hate celery. The okay: — Fried Chicken: why did we even order this? I have no idea, but for the price, it was a pretty big meal(I’m always surprised that Coney Island isn’t quite as overpriced as I expect it to be). The chicken tasted like it had been sitting out for a while, especially since they got it out to us immediately after I ordered it(fast service is good… I guess?). Anyway, if you’re hungry, get it. If not, eh… — Funnel Cake: okay truth be told, I swallowed this thing down as though it was a can of coke. I literally just shoved that shtuff straight down my throat. It didn’t taste all that good, but my girlfriend kept threatening to throw it away because«you’re getting too fat.» So I had to wolf it down before she made her threats a reality. Anyway, the funnel cake was just too soggy. It’s supposed to be at least a little crispy, right?

Came here spur of the moment on a weekend for the fresh clams! So glad I did because they were delicious and came with a great view of the beach. Lines were pretty short and moved amazingly fast. The girl at the stand that sold clams was really nice. My boyfriend got a spicy hot dog that was just as delicious as the clams and they came with crunchy fries. Thank you Paul’s Daughter for a great snack!

It was beautiful day so I decided to take my family out to Coney Island and walk the boardwalk. We stopped at Paul’s daughter which has been here for decades for hotdogs and beers. Friendly staff and the owner makes you feel right at home. Make sure you have the ice cream it is out of this world! Will definitely be back when it gets a little warmer.

Paul’s Daughter is an institution on the Coney Island Boardwalk. It has been around for something like 50 plus years. There is no greater spot to have a pint of a local brew and people watch on the boardwalk. Just be sure you don’t buy a beer and then wander off to the boardwalk. The police can and will issue you a ticket. It’s a rookie mistake, but Paul’s Daughter does have signs saying not to walk away. This should be on everybody’s bucket list as one of the best places to have a brew in NYC, possible the country.

My first funnel cake of the summer was eaten here. And… it was toward the end of the summer so I was on a mission! Receiving the funnel cake took forever… and I’m not sure why considering I stood there the entire time watching the process unfold or better yet heat up. Then they just walked by my funnel like I wasn’t standing there waiting on it. I had to remind them. Once I got the funnel in my hand it was war and I one! Well with sugar spot wounds left on my attire so they definitely left their mark. But really it was a good funnel cake. I’ve really never had that bad of a funnel cake except the one I tried to go home and make after I thought I learned how to make them in home economics… Epic Failure!

You know what? It was pretty good, my boyfriend and I were looking for something quick, tasty, and well priced after spending some time at Brighton Beach and decided to try the sausage hero with fries and a couple of beers. The fries were good and the sausage(although smaller than what a hero typically is) was really damn tasty, spicy but not in a burn-your-tongue kind of way. Had the bun been toasted… it would’ve been even better! I’d eat there again.

Fresh shucked little neck clams! Right by the ocean. Can it get any better than that! We ordered a dozen clams and they were fresh and delicious. Add some lemon, cocktail sauce, and Tabasco and your set. They also have sausage and peppers sandwich, fried clams, beer, hotdogs and corn dogs! Good service and food! Right on the boardwalk

Walking around Coney Island you can’t help but to wait to eat some raw clams like you did back in the day. This place did not disappoint, they shuck the clams in front of you. It was just me so I order a half dozen and put hot sauce. Perfect way to spend the end to a beautiful day.

Funnel cake, sausage & peppers, and Brooklyn Lager. What can be better when walking along the Coney Island Boardwalk? I love holes in the walls like these old school spots. They harken back to a simpler time when we ate and drank what we wanted and threw caution to the wind when it came to fat and calories. Fried clams, french fries, hot dogs, pizza, etc. There are a few picnic tables close by that we planted our butts on to savor the tasty beers and food we devoured. Perfect way to people watch and enjoy the beach. Don’t expect high end eats here. Just enjoy the fatty goodness of fried foods and cold brews.

Coney Island has a lot of food places. But since they have a captive sort of vacation and carnival crowd audience, most of it is not great. But Paul’s Daughter’s clam bar helped improve that. They shuck clams in front of you.(A larger one and Cherrystone.) $ 15 for the dozen. You eat them.(Make sure to drain a bit of the salt water prior to downing them. And that’s it. Great clams and beer. It being Coney Island, we also ordered a funnel cake there. It sucked. But the clam bar was worth it. I don’t remember any seats. We just stood. But the ambiance of being on the beach in a carnival was great. One recommendation: Arrive earlier. We came when the kid campers were still in droves at Coney Island. That’s when I’d recommend you come. Later gets more crowded.

I’ve been coming to this stand since I was a little girl… I have to admit that the food was way more better when I was younger but I still come back because they have everything I want on the boardwalk. Italian sausage, fries, oysters, cotton candy. Ugh fatass love. The food is okay… Depending on the cooks, but still love that stand. The check out ppl could use a touch up but I guess I would be annoyed and slow on a hot day also.

If you want to enjoy the wind blowing in your face and hair over chilled beer and some fries on the Coney Island boardwalk then this is the place for you. Will be going back soon again as the summer if always over.

Walking in the Coney Island Boardwalk, it is bound to happen at one point that you will get hungry and try to find something to eat close to you. I ended up walking by Paul’s Daughter and got the funnel cake. It was good, I don’t think you could really mess up a funnel cake. They serve soft served ice cream, hot dogs, corn dogs, etc. Would definitely come back and grab a lil something if I’m by the boardwalk. Good service as well.
