I just got into NYC from Atlanta, and I was really hungry. One of my cravings was pasta so my boyfriend, a New York City native immediately brought me here. We came on a Friday, lunch hour, and it was PACKED. The restaurant itself is pretty small, which made everything look more overwhelming than it really is. We didn’t wait long till we got a seat, so lucky us. I usually go for some penne alla vodka if it’s on the menu(which it is) but decided to try something new and ordered the fusilli alla marsala. The dish has chicken, marsala wine, portobello, and sun-dried tomatoes over pasta – YUMM! I’m really picky with pasta dishes since I feel like I can easily make it at home, but Patsy’s did it right. Pasta wasn’t overcooked, and the cream sauce was flavorful, dense but not too runny. The portion was huge in my opinion, so I didn’t finish it unfortunately, but I was left full and happy!

If you get anything but the pizza its so overpriced. OHMAN. Like a small pasta dish is like 19 dollars, woah nelly. Great thing is that when you check in you get like 10 percent off your check but make sure you tell them before they hand you the check. The manager is this mean looking red headed lady that doesn’t help out and just sits there looking real grumpy and people. The day I went, they clearly were understaffed and the only waitress was running around, but she just sat there all grumpy looking. Other than that, love their pizza. Also they give out free bread before the meal with olive oil. Ask for the balsamic as well.

Not sure why it is there are ANY negative reviews about this place. Salads(we had a mista and a Caesar) were crisp & fresh. My husband said it was the best Caesar he’s had! Pizza is delish! One white pie with extra garlic & a ½ pepperoni. They were hot, loaded with cheese and super tasty. The big leaves of basil on top of each pie was an added plus. PS they even have a gluten free option! Service was spot on as well! Server was very attentive. The only bummer was the slightly warm beer. We will DEFINITELY be back for more!

Service is ok. Pizza is amazing. The blue moon beer taste like vinegar. This is the second time on two separate occasions I’ve ordered and experienced this vinegar taste.

Such a classic Italian restaurant. I’ve heard the pizza is good but I go for the pasta. Linguine with shrimp is amazing but the Linguine with clam not so, for whatever reason. Love the atmosphere, love the food, love the neighborhood. Family style. So nice.

I highly recommend the white pizza with prosciutto! Cooked to perfection. I ordered my pie for pick up and it was done in less than 20 minutes. I would definitely come back here and try a few of their entrée options.

Went in and made a to go order for eggplant parmigiana. The waiter said it would take 15 minutes which meant it took 35 minutes. There were two other parties in the restaurant who came in after me and had their food before mine came out. When the food did arrive the ticket read«chicken parmigiana». Luckily I am not vegetarian and pretty lenient and also had no more time to wait and needed to eat, so I took it. The chicken was like rubber. The thinnest cut that was more like jerky. Terrible. I couldn’t eat it. The spaghetti was passable. What a horrible waste of 20 dollars and 40 minutes.

Pizza was good. The meatballs were not so great and 3 of them cost 14 bucks. Stick with the pizza and you will be fine.

Great pizza, in fact I think the best in nyc. However, be careful for delivery it has always arrived soggy and I had to put it back in the oven. I would stick to eating in the restaurant.

Really nice overall experience for lunch! Four of us shared two pizzas and a salad. The servers were friendly and did not make us feel rushed. We had one large pepperoni, one large white pizza and one caesar salad. The parmesan on the salad was thick cut, fresh and delicious. I have tried almost every pizza restaurant in Manhattan while living in NYC for 5 years. Patsy’s pizza is among the best in NYC and today was no exception! Perfect consistency and ratios of cheese, sauce, toppings and dough. You can’t go wrong with pizza from Patsy’s!

The food was good. Had a margarita pizza and cesar salad. The pizza came out fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed the salad because they put just the right amount of dressing, unlike some places that drench it. Overall I am very satisfied and will be coming back if looking for a decent meal at a reasonable price :)

Can’t go wrong with this classic, old fashion, and straight to the point pizza. Nothing in particular, it’s hard to mess up pizza. This one is great– enjoy!

We managed to score one of the tables by the Juliet balconies, which was a perfect«outside» dining ambiance. It was a gorgeous spring day and this was the perfect seating arrangement. The rest of the restaurant seeking seemed a little blah, not much charm or real character. We started with the arugula salad which was simple but perfectly dressed, flavorful, and nutty. The sun dried tomatoes and the fresh slices of parmesan added a hint of sweetness and some great texture. Since you have the freedom to have your half and half pizza however you like it, we picked half white with prosciutto and half regular with pepperoni. The white pizza had delightfully light and fluffy ricotta and the prosciutto had a slight smokiness to it. The regular side was made with fresh mozzarella which was great. The crust was perfect and the fresh basil added just the right finishing flavor. All in all, great food and pretty good service as well.

Easily a go to place for great pizza. Ordered a small mushroom to share among three people, but it with the family sized salad, it coulda been for four. Everything about the pie was deliciously fresh. Loved how it was amply garnished with basil leaves. A nice touch to zesty tomato sauce under mild moz. The pizza was also on the doughy side, but in a good way. As mentioned, the family sized salad was indeed family sized! Big enough to feed the Klumps, yet well prepared and fresh for any carb-fearing hipster. Perhaps my only gripe was how coated in oil it was, but the freshness of the greens and the robust kick of the olives shone through nonetheless. Undergird two great dishes with exceptional service in a rustic yet modern décor that reminds you why NYC is the capital of the world, and you’ve got yourself a fine-without-the-fancy dining experience that anyone in their right mind would come back for.

Great pizza, great salad, great wine. I’ll definitely be coming back. Was looking forward to visiting and sitting by in the window area. Thankfully it was available and we were seated immediately. We ordered the Arugula Salad with Chicken and the Margherita Pizza. We asked for chicken on the pizza but they wouldn’t allow it.(?) However, they gave it on the side.

Sometimes when you go to these classic pizza joints that are satellites of the original pizza joints, something gets lost in the transition. At this Patsy’s, you might forget the fact that it’s not the original. Came here with friends one Saturday night, and we ordered two pies: sausage and mushrooms, pepperoni and onions. Both were fantastic. The crust was perfect, the cheese was nice and salty, and the toppings were pretty darn good. The beer selection at Patsy’s wasn’t very good, which, unfortunately, is to be expected at far too many Italian restaurants. I wouldn’t shy away from this location, although you must visit the E. Harlem original.

Dropped by here for lunch with a coworker. I was recommended the pizzas and antipasti. So for two people, we had the pepperoni and mushroom pie and antipasti. The antipasti came with salami, prosciutto, olives, anchovies, artichoke hearts, capers, cheese with balsamic vinaigrette, peppers, bruschetta, and some bean looking thing. Yes, it was quite a platter! The best part is that you can ask for bread with it and it’s the warmest yummiest bread ever! I did manage to snap a picture of the antipasti before devouring it. However, I wasn’t so lucky with the pizza. It came piping hot. Instead of the pizzeria large thin slices of pepperoni, Patsy’s serve up their pies with the small thicker cut ones. I do wish it had a either more mushrooms or bigger pieces of them. It looked like we only got the odds and ends of mushrooms. They were cut too fine and probably shrunk considerably after they were cooked. After having about two to three slices of pizzas each, we were full and still had two slices left(some of the slices were cut larger than others). The best part is that I also got 10% off the bill for checking in on Unilocal — even better! I’ll be around the area more often in the near future, so it won’t be the last time I’ll be at Patsy’s.

Oh man. Really good pizza. It’s not too thick, it’s not too thin. It’s just right. It came out steaming hot from the oven but was ready to eat with a fork and knife within a minute or so later. The large was perfectly sized for four people to split for lunch. We each got 2 decent size slices. We got our pie with sausage and the mixed fresh roasted peppers. The sausage had a slight spice to it and the combo was overall tasty. The pie was also topped with fresh basil. They serve wine and beer was well. The beer selection was fairly limited and went a notch above domestic imports. The wine list was bigger and I found myself happy with a glass of house Sauvignon Blanc. I’m not used to paying $ 9 for a house wine, but the pour was pretty hearty. The place was also charming and felt like a little slice of Italy. I would absolutely go back or recommend to a friend.
