Went there today with a Glicee print I was very excited about. The framer was wonderful, stepping me through my options, colors, various frames with patience and a great eye. He came up with a combo I’m ecstatic over. It was an actual joy to work with him, and the quoted price was exponentially less than the shop on 30^th! If you’re local say so. Locals get a discount.

I’ve gotten a frame made for a poster and a mirror insertion to an existing frame. Both were done professionally and in a timely manner. In addition the cost was ¼ the price of local competitors. I’m glad that I have such a good local business in my neighborhood. I highly recommend this framer.

The shop owner is an absolute gentleman. He was very patient, offered his professional opinion on mat and frame selection, and delivered the final product quickly (2 weeks) and flawlessly!

Pastel Art is amazing and I take any art I need framed here for the quality and customization. I generally work with very custom-​sized French press paper pieces, and I’ve never had an issue with getting anything framed. The one thing to keep in mind is that you may have a ~2 week wait, but this is totally fine considering most work is entirely custom-​made, you’re supporting local biz, and your art, prints, posters, etc. will look amazing! Thank you Pastel!

Love this place. I’ve had two large prints framed here and they were both done professionally and flawlessly. Price is actually cheaper than a place like Michael’s. Love supporting my local business.

BUT IF you are looking to have your family portraits, wedding photos and pieces of art frame Pastel Art is your store. We’re talking about great quality, legit frames that are made with various materials like brass wood and sterling silver. (yea you wont find cheap plastic crap here). The owner Paul, has over 20 Years of experience molding and crafting customized frames.
I love a simple wood frame for a poster I purchased for a friend’s birthday. The prices depend on the size and material of the frame, but definitely reasonable! The frame came out really nice and made the poster look even nicer. Highly recommended!

I’ve been in Astoria for over 2 years, and have walked past this place numerous times and it never registered. As a result, I’ve always gone up to 30^th Avenue to Astoria Art & Custom Framing for art and framing needs. They’re fine, but I’m so glad to tell you it’s an unnecessary walk if you live closer to Broadway!
The owner, Paul, is pleasant and helped me pick out just what I wanted in terms of framing size, material and background color. I picked it up a week later I couldn’t be happier with the result.
I also asked him several questions about the best way to go about high quality printing of pics I found and took and he was honest and helpful in referring me elsewhere for my needs.
I’ll definitely be going back soon!
